OoooO, im in, i would say more but i have to go but i just really want to be in read my profile, if you want to know more i'll add more later i promise but i do have an ED. had anorexia, EDNOS, as of currently my weights boosted but i still struggle.

umm, okay a few things.

1. ur misinformed about building muscle and weight.

You dont lose inches from cardio. you burn carbs and calories but you dont lose inches, that comes from working with weight resitance.

2. how many calories are you eating per day?

3. 5'2 and 120 is not underweight or unhealthy. 5'2 and 120 is a bmi of 21.9. healthy is between 18.5 - 24.9. shes leaning towards the higher end of the BMI, healthy zone. its a great weight to aim at too!

Shes a teenager, and shes meant to be on the lower side of the BMI scale anyway.

4. dont starve yourself to lose weght because it slows your metabolism down which makes gaining weight easier, also starving yourself will make you evntually overeat/binge. making you gain fat.

5. general tip, dont eat before you go to sleep. If you eat, then it all becomes stored as fat.

YOU NEED 1200 calories to fucking function. (if your a sedatary person)

period.

900 is considered starvation diet.

never ever go below 1200. as difficult as it may seem.

ps. OP, boost your calories to 1800, if your going to exercise more, and add weight to your routine. so you dont look thin and flabby.

You need to eat, 1200 calories to FUNCTION.

900 calories is considered a starvation diet.

Eat more. way more. 1500- 1600. worry less. you need to maintain your weight, and tone up without, dieting to lose weight.

eat more protein:

By eating enough protein, you will keep your nitrogen levels high which supports muscular repair and growth. Protein has a thermogenic effect of 30% which makes it the highest thermogenic food compared to all other nutrients. This means that for every 100 calories of protein you eat, 30 calories are burned by your body to digest the food leaving you with a net 70 calories

100-108 pounds, is borderline anorexic. Its unhealthy. in hospital they make you boost your weight up to 120, before they discharge you. at a height of 5'5.

ps. its highly unlikely the doctor will prescribe you anything unless you are overweight, but u can ask him to do a bone scan of your wrists which will, estimate how tall you are likely to grow.

TO THE OP.

a few things to keep in mind...

a. what time do you go to sleep?

Dont eat anything, less then 2 hours before you go bed.
That means the last thing you eat, has to be 2 hours before you sleep.

b. Your meals later in the day should be, smaller. Your meals at the begining of the day should be bigger.

c. remember glycemic index.

d. dont go without food for more then 2 hours.

e.eat, breakfast closest to the time you wake up. like immediatly after you wake up and weigh yourself and brush your teeth.

f.never ever skip breakfast.

g. go to the toliet, at the end of class, or teh begining of class, and eat, then come back, if your desperate...(lol, is this bad advice?)

have 3 set meal times, and plan your other 3 times, around them. for example.

lol. i can relate.

im almost recovered from EDNOS, practically previoulsy anorexia until i boosted my weght...(many people may think tis bad to start dieting while im recovering from teh ED, but meh, as i said almost...sometimes i get off track.) and my damn boyfriend loves, food. and he's skinny too...grrr. (ahhh, sighs but hes so damn adoreable and...nevermind...)

anyway.

when it comes to this stuff, darling your overdoing it.

YOU exercise enough. You can afford to eat at a restaraunt.

how many calories do you take in daily?

you can eat at a restaraunt once every week, no worries, just remember not to go overboard, maybe consider, some of these suggestions.

eat a bit before you go.so your not tempted to overeat later about half an hour to 1 hour before.

fill up on water. so you dont confuse hunger for thirst.

order a meal or entree whatever and if you think its too much to eat, dont eat it all. give some to your boyfriend, or father, im sure they would enjoy trying your meal...

make informed choices about what your eating, before going to the restaraunt look at the menu on the interenet...and maybe if your concerened ask about whats in the food.

order things on the side or in a seperate plate so you realise what your eating.

you are actually meant to weigh yourself as soon as you wake up in the morning, after going to the toliet to pee and shit, before you have breakfast.

If you ever visit an eating disorders unit that is what your subjected to as 5.00 am, in the morning so you dont cheat and drink water before hand, they wake you up early, but for regualr people, wake up pee and weigh.

after all you can only hold, 5 litres of water for so long...and espically since they subject you to go to teh toliet, before hand.

umm, yeah im kind of embarresed to ask, but i heard the pill kills your sex drive...

has anyone experienced that? and is there an alternative where u odnt gain weight or lose your sex drive on the pill, or get bad heavy irregular periods?

thats an unhealthy weight.

it doesnt matter if you look 125.

why is it no one gets that if you look 130 at 100, theres either a posibility of

a. you have distorted body image

b. you need to gain tone through weight, resistance exercises.

i hope you realise developing an eating disorder, isnt healthy. Its not a diet. That its mental disorder.

umm, guys no offence, meant but some of you sound unhealthy...

losing weight is not really a matter of eating less, and exercising more.
Eating 800 calories daily, is unhealthy. you need 1200 to function.

That is to FUCTION, if you are a lazy person.

If you exercise or are active you might need more.

losing weight doesnt nessacrily mean your losing fat, which is what you would want to lose.

and losing more then 1 kilogram a week, just defeats teh whole purpose of losing weight for health. It just ruins your body.

I wonder what you guys eat to maintain, the 800 or less or however much cals you eat...i mean the word diet, doesnt mean, eat whatever you like as long as your under your calorific expectations...

im 166 cm and weigh 57.1 kg.

i use metric. but i think in imperial its 5'5 and 125 pounds.

i want to maintain...but i really dont care if i lose or gain weight, i just want to gain muscle, and imporve tone.

umm, no offence, meant girls, & boys, because im just generalising, but, dont you think some of your goal weights are ridiculously low on the BMI side of the scale?

100 ? 70 pounds? 110?

why not just try to build up more muscle?
through weights and cardio. the more weight you lift, the faster your metabolism becomes. the more muscle that builds up the more toned you look. It takes fat & calories to build up muscle .

I hope people realise, that an eating disorder is NOT a diet, or a lifestyle, they are mental disorders.

i wish you girl the best of luck, but being underweight is not the answer to ideal health, and a long, life. It will make you miserable. watchinge verything you eat, and calculating how many hours you need to stend at the gym to burn the calories off, must be fun. Or refusing to eat, because, something has too many calories is a sign that food is being to take over your life, so please get some psychological halp.

hmm, yeah well, im 5'5. pretty sensible. i dont want to lose weght really. i just want to get healthy and fit and eat well, instead of having bad terrible unhealhty habits like i currtenly do.

i dont really drink alcohol because it makes me hurl alot, and vomiting sucks.

i think celbrities & models, have unrealistic, body shapes and sizes. they call gisele bunchen & karolina karkova curvy, because they have breasts, on their builds

pfft.

yeah whatever.

its an unrealistic, ideal, espically, for young girls and woman. i feel really sick,w hen i hear, my sisters, brother masterbates off to these girls...

it makes me feel the pressure to be thin, but then it kicks in that its ridiclous.

i think people can get to that unhealthy and unnatural weight, but htey have to start young, and they have to be strict with there diet and exercise regimen.

extremely strict... I'm talking about all i ever do is look at food and exercise all day...

boring. zzzzzzzzzzzzz........

the only people with great bodies in hollywood are, jessica biel, jillian form B.L, salma hayak, gwen stefani.

i think people can manipulate there body shape and everything, but they cant completely change there size & tendancies i.e ectomorph, endomorph, memsomorph.

the problem is you know how there are amounts of how much you eat well, i had 400g of watermelon but 400g is not a choice...so i dunno what to do...how do i make it say 400g? and not 100

omg!! well done, i think i gained weight though...bad chocolate binge, oh, well, new years eve today!! so awesome! I can focus on what im going to do next year, and how im going to change my habits.

[ no i havent checked my weight this morning...i think im going, to avoid that...till after the new year...]

i really want to change my habits and learn from my mistakes and be healthy.

isnt it great?!! you finally broke it, and its almost the new year, something positive to start the year by!!

Hey im sash. Im 5'5 and i weight 127-130.

i'd like to weigh between 100 to 120 pounds, and gain alot more muscle, but not so i look like a body builder, just so im toned.

I like running, its fun and although ive on used an elliptical machine its great, and so easy!
