I'm turning 26 in March. My second wedding anniversary is in April. I told someone last month about something my husband did and she gave me the "you're to young to be marred!" look. Her mouth was hanging open and everything. I always find things like that very entertaining.

Jamie23: When in March? Mine is March 10th.

I was looking for a picture or a discription. I'm not picky.

Thanks everyone for helping me out.

The library usually has workout DVDs that you can check out. Get a couple and try them to see what you enjoy doing.

I like the Monkey Diet. Cheese is very hard for me to give up, but I am working on it. *plans for the day to swing from trees with fellow monkeys*

Hey all. Sorry to say, I must give up second place. DH made cookies and I did not resist them. Please restart me for today, Oct. 3. Thank you.

*poke* I'm baaaaack. *insert crazy laugh here*

I really don't know much. Classes are driving my crazy, but it's really a short trip.

On the good side, I think all computer problems are really over this time. I mean, really, truely, honestly over this time.

Indian food. hmmmmm. Good stuff.

Kelly- I am supposed to be getting a copy of the cook book with the wild rice pizza recipe today, so I will post that for you. I didn't forget; I've just been having computer problems. We couldn't access the internet, then the computer started shutting down after 10min of use for no good reason. :P

Hey all,

*HUGS TO EVERYONE* I am soo sorry. I have lost internet access again and my computer has been randomly shutting off. You are all in my thoughts and prayers, though.

Any chance I can be off the point system this month until the computer thing gets figured out? I will still be reading posts and responding as much as I can, but I don't know how often I'll have computer access right now.

God bless you all,

Jennifer

I'm in my last year of college. I don't have the patience to teach.

The interview went well, he thought, but he never got called back. He's going to call Tuesday to see what's going on.

I've gained weight! My weight is 211.2 lbs. Does that give me minus points or something?

Points: Word- 1, Water- 60, Fruits/Veggie- 20, Exercise- 0.

I'll post measurements when I find the tape measure again.

In place of crunches, you could try standing against a wall and sucking your stomach in. I know this sounds odd, but I did it in high school and when we did sit ups next in gym, I could actually do one. I've started doing this again because I have back problems now too.

*echo, echo, echo* Is anyone out there?

DH and I made wild rice pizza. It's so awsome. Wild rice, onions, sauce. Good stuff. I think I'll post the recipe sometime this weekend for everyone.

Hey all,

I have a question. Does choosing to walk somewhere instead of taking the bus count as intentional exercise? I had an appointment today and I had planned on taking the bus, but I decided to walk instead because I knew there would be no other excerise opportunities today.

If you all could send some prayer this way, that would be really awesome right now. No one knows this, but DH and I are behind on the whole paying bills thing. He's going to be applying for two jobs that will help to make ends meet if he can get either one, so we're praying and hoping things go well and one of them works out. A little extra prayer can't hurt, though. Where two or more are gathered....

Thanks all and God bless.

Hey all,

Sorry, Lolo, wasn't at the gym. I was at the mall buying a bike for DH to ride to work. :D I ended up going from there to a friend's house (she needed the company badly), to a get together that had been arranged several weeks ago. Too much going on. My life gets pretty dull when classes start, so I'll be on time in the future.

I have never seen bread that's refrigerated at the grocery store. We do usually get whole grain bread, though. Mold can live off of it. I know this for a fact.

I have a question. I have a friend, also vegetarian, who thinks eating meat might have been a punishement from God. The logic, from what I understand, goes 'Meat has all these things in it that can shorten life and cause disease. God decided to cut our lifespans short, so He decreed we could eat meat.' My friend refered to this as a punishment for something unknown.

Do you all have any thoughts on that? Any idea what one could say to that? I just nodded when he mentioned it and said I didn't know. I have trouble seeing it as a punishment, personally.

Thanks and God bless.

Jennifer

I do not have any wonderful, amazing recipies to share today. I have been under the weather this weekend so my food has been a little limited.

I do have another suggestion, though. There is a cookbook that can probably be checked out of the library called The Vegan Cookbook. Again, it is all meatless, cheeseless items, but cheese can be added easily for almost any recipie and many items can be used for side dishes. There are some wonderful desert recipies in there as well. The cake is especially wonderful and pretty healthy as far as cake goes. I'll post that recipe if anyone wants it.
