Where did you buy your circuit traing dvd? Do you like it and does it seem to work for you? I haven't been, in the past, a big excerciser. I am very much a sedentary person. So now I'm trying to excerise and enjoy it to. I found that if I do and not way over exert myself then I will keep excercising and enjoy it. How long have you been working out in the gym?

As far as eating, I'm supposed to be eating around 1550 calories but I usually eat less than that. Though i'm finding that on the days that I work out I have to eat more calories otherwise when I work out I get shaky and dizzy. My only problem is that my mom cooks for the family and its hard to find the foods she cooks on the food log. Sometimes I have to guess and my tendency is to guess low instead of higher.

I'm so bummed! I didn't lose any weight this week. I think maybe its because I've started a new work out and I might be gaining muscle or I did splurge one day. Well I guess I will try harder this week. Did everyone weigh-in?

Well I haven't had complete sucess with sweets yet either. I am back home living with my family again and they all eat lots of sweets (and are as thin as ever! Its not fair!) I think its good to try to limit my sweet intake because I've not had any sucess in takin 'em out completely. I'm trying to get down to 150 and right now I'm at 192. Though If I don't lose it all at once even getting to 165 would make me happy. I've already lost 12 pounds over quite a few months but I want to lose more. Do you excercise at all? I do brisk walking and work out 3 times a week. I've really come to enjoy it. Suprise suprise! Well talk to ya later,

To my fellow chocolate addict! You understand my pain :) I love chocolate and anything sweet. I have such a sweet tooth. What I love about this site is that I can still eat a little bit of sweets as long as I am with in my calorie limit. I don't try to oust sweets all together just limit them. This has helped me stick to my diet. Yes I am a Christian and would love to talk with a fellow Christian. I've added you to my friends. Nice to meet you!

Looking for friends

I'm looking for some friends on here to just to keep encouraged in my diet and hopefully encourage someone else. I've been down in the dumps lately and thats when I pig out the most. So I'm trying to be positive and not eat junk food. Anybody an emotional eater like I am or just love chocolate? If you are speak up. I've joined the biggest loser contest too. I've lost 1 lb so far this week. YAY!!! So slowly but surely I will lost weight.

I've experienced the same thing except after I excercise. I am supposed to be taking in around 1550 calories but I only take in around 1300-1400 calories before excercising. When I excercise I get very dizzy and shaky. I think its low blood sugar but how can i know for sure.

And jetsetter, i would take into account the calories your burn and find out how how many calories total you are taking in a day. This site will tell you how many calories you should be eating a day to get to or maintain the weight you want. I would stick close to that because it really works. Hope it works!!

And I thought the temperatures were bad here! We haven't got much snow or ice this winter. Its actually been warm (like in the 50's). But now its getting cold again. Its like down in the thirties. We might even get snow in a few days. YAY!!! Anybody else getting snow?

I like the intro idea. I'm Kristin and I am from Indiana. I am looking to loose about 50 pounds. Thats my goal. I just watch my diet and excercise every day. Brisk walking and 3 days a week toning excercises. I'm so psyched about this site and this contest. Nice meeting ya team!

Its ok to have a bad day. :) Go ahead and eat with your bf. Just try to be careful but don't flip out about it. Its ok to have a bad day once in a while but don't let that become an excuse. Just try harder the next day. We're not perfect so don't expect perfection on your diet either

I'm so glad that everyone is so excited about this contest. I sure am. I think this a great way to lose weight.

I excercised 40 minutes of brisk walking (outside) and did a bunch of ab workouts. I'm following the diet plan I found on MSN and its really working. Its really sensible to, not one of those yo-yo diets.

As far as name ideas, I'm so bad about thinking up a name. Anybody got some suggestions, I like iwantsz12 idea. Any others?

I personally love Crystal Light and have been drinking it for a long time. It's not harmed me as far as I can tell. I love the Lemonade. I drink it all the time and it helps gets liquids in me since I've cut back on my pop intake. It also helps my sugar cravings. I think if it helps you get liquid and helps your diet then more power to Crystal Light!

This is a great site!!! I found it a week ago and have lost 5 pounds this week. Its really motivated me to stick with my diet and excercise. I'm 23 and need to lose about 50 pounds but my goal for now is 36 lbs. I'm from the mid-west where its getting really cold.

One thing that i found that helped me was being creative and trying foods or different combos of food. SOmethings weren't that great but I find things I did like. I founds that adding new things to my diet helped me stay on the diet. If I ate the same kinds of stuff all the time, I didn't stay on the diet. For snacks I like peaches and cottage cheese or apples and peanut butter. For lunch I like oatmeal with brown sugar. It really fills me up. Trying finding new healthy foods maybe it will help.

I understand about the belly. Like glamour girl says, its the first place I gain and the last place I lose. I read in my fitness magazine that sit-up only work part of your abs. So if you want to loose weight on your belly then you have to do different kinds of crunches and ab workouts to work your entire ab muscles.

One of my favorites ab work outs is to sit on the ground with your feet flat on the floor and your knees drawn up like your getting ready to do a sit up. Then lean back your torso as far as you can. Keeping that position, take a 5 pound weight or even a medicine ball and put it on your right side. Take the ball in your right hand and move the ball or weight from the right side to  the left side  and back making it touch the floor on either side of you as far back as you can reach. Make sure that you are only moving your torso and using your stomach muscles to hold the position. Trying doing that 15 times for each side. Try finding different ab excercises and dieting will help with the belly. It worked for me I hope it works for you.
