Congrats to everyone!!!! I have lost 52 pounds so far and only 8 more to go. I started my journey in January of 2008. I went shopping yesterday and bought myself a new pair of jeans and fit into a size that I haven't worn since high school. How fun! Good luck everyone. Smile

I am in the same place as you guys. I was 181 and finally hit 134. I have been stuck around the same couple pounds for a month. I have been eating healthy and working out 5-6 days a week. My goal is 120 and I feel like I am never going to get there.

I also went out and bought the DVD last weekend. I have been doing it everyday for 6 days now. The first couple days I was so sore and now I can tell that my endurance has increased. I am going to stick to level 1 for 30 days and then move on from there. I love this video. I also go on my elliptical for 30 minutes about 4-5 a week.

Hello....

I am currently 5"3 and weighing in at 143. I would love to get down to 130 by April.

It has taken my a full year but I have lost 38 lbs so far.

I am in.... I started in January at 181 and was 151 this morning. I would love to lose around 20 lbs by Christmas.

I walk at least 30 minutes  5 times a week, and work out at a gym 3 times a week. Trying to stay around 1300 calories. Weigh in's on Fridays sound great!

I gain more weight during the summer for the fact that there are so many more events during the summer such as family reunions, cook-outs, weddings, work functions, and sporting events. I do go to the gym and work-out more in the summer, but my eating habits are way worse because there seems to be more activities in summer.

I am kinda in the same boat as you. I was on vacation last week over the 4th of July and I ate whatever I wanted. Today was my first day back from work and it has been so hard. I always keep telling myself that "nothing tastes as good as being skinny feels!" That saying helps me get through the day, so maybe it will help you. :) I also try and take it one day at a time. I am just trying to get through today and keep my calories under my limit. Tomorrow is a new day.

Almost all types of cheese. I love cheese even if it is laughing cow or some healthy alternative. I just can't have it in the house.

I was doing great with my weight loss until I went on vacation to Vegas in April. Since then I have gotten back to some old habits. I have been eating bigger portions and eating fatty foods again. We just started a weight loss program at work and whoever losing the most lbs gets a prize. I totally agree that all you an do is get right back on track. I know that I have gotten off track also. It is so hard to do, but it will pay off in the long run. Good luck!

how long have you kept it off? 4 months

what approach did you use? counting calories, walking at 30 minutes a day, and cutting out all fast foods.
