if you want an explanation you can read about it here, it's very interesting:

basically you can try to relieve the pain by lifting the right side up.

hey sab120, feel free to join. weigh-ins are on fridays. :)

hey veggiegeek, it's cool that you live in Canada. i live in TO ;)

pcarpintero, that vegginner sounds good, lol. i actually ran 15 mins at 5 mph. it may not seem like much, but i've never been able to run at 5 mph continuously without slowing down, usually i alternate between 3 and 6.5 mph, so endurance is something i need to work on.

How are you guys doing?

Yes! In fact i just got dark brown highlights, which is not very interesting, but i find that dark hair suits me best.

Name: subwaybusker
Age: 17
Favourite Hair Dye/product: Gatsby anything, L'oreal hair gel
Best Hair Colour/style: variation of a shoulder bob
Biggest hair fiasco: uh, surprisingly none of my haircuts have been that bad
Current Hairstyle: Black with dark brown highlights all over, short, lightly permed. think halle berry, but better at the risk of sounding arrogant ;)
Next Hair Style: Kate Moennig, period.

it's kind of weird for me. one day i just decided to go vegetarian...just for the heck of it. one week turned into one month and one month turned into one year...and here i am, 2.5 years and still going. i guess it's like a competition for me. it has nothing to do with animal rights or health even. i just don't want to break my "streak"

The Lounge These are a few of my favourite things... Aug 10 2008

- listening to emotional music (not emo, just emotional)
- being alone in my room
- the sound of raindrops
- lying in bed and daydreaming
- playing drums
- runner's high (although it's the opposite for me, i get contemplative and depressed during runs)

The Lounge Are All Women Sexist? Aug 10 2008

Original Post by coffincritter:

You know, not to endorse bulimia or anything, but the more I read on this thread of self-loathing women professing their hatred of other women the more I want to hurl. Preferably in their direction.

Why do so many women have a deep seated hatred of their own kind? Is it because where brought up to be competitive with each other? Is it internalized hatred our society teaches us projected outward? Is it a desperate need for male approval, to be seen as the "cool" girl who's different from all the others? I've had beef with other women individually, but I never let me decide they represented the gender as a whole. So what is it? What has the WHOLE of womenkind ever done to these gals to make them hate women and de facto themselves?

pardon me, but i've always found women to be much bitchier. now, i'm not saying all women are like that, just the ones that i've met. i am so much more comfortable with men because they are simpler...socially at least. i don't have to worry about all that girl drama. with us there's always drama, while guys i can just chill and have a beer with. ;)

yep vegetariangeek, i'm still here. just came back from the gym. i ran for 2 miles...but it took me 30 minutes. for some reason i have a lot of trouble with running. i can cruise for an hour on the elliptical no problem, but when it comes to running, i get exhausted after 30 seconds.

i had a pretty good workout yesterday too, treadmill for cardio and a bit of weight training. eating hasn't been too good though...and by the way, how are the univ gyms like? i'm moving into college this fall and i'm so afraid that it won't be as well-equipped as the Y, which is what i'm used to.

 keep me posted guys! :)

Just the fact that people can't help bragging about what they ate is bad.  It's like a competition.  You all know that everyone's thinking god did she eat all that, or god she only ate that, just no one will dare admit it.

No, as a matter of fact, only you are the one thinking it. We all have different needs, yes, but clearly you are eating under 1200 calories and it is **** annoying for us to keep having to repeat it to you. as deflepfan16 and direwolf689 said, either follow the rules, or get off.

snack: chocolate protein bar

dinner: rice with kimchi, sauteed leafy greens,  fish,
