I didn't know it would be so hard to find 10 minutes of the day to do ab workout. I gotta work out extra hard today to make up for the minutes I've lost. I usually do them while watching tv.

I'm 5'1 and I usually do 3.0 - 3.5 on elliptical trainer. I always have the levels on hard though so that it builds my strength in my legs as well. I'd rather go slow pace and high resistance than fast pace and low resistance.

I'm still here too! Although I think this will be my last week. I'm just waiting for my weight trend to go below 160. Hopefully I'll lose a pound before the weight loss challenge weigh in tomorrow.

I heard that for women, our body fat percentage should not be lower than 12%. For men, no lower than 3%.

Willowraven - I've dropped about 4 lbs in a day before. That's pretty crazy but I love it! Keep up the good work.

I'm working on 2 lbs to lose next week. I'm pumped! Gonna exercise right now! >:D

It's most likely just fluctuation which could be many reasons...drinking water, taking in too much sodium, slowing your metabolism from not eating much.. If it makes you feel any better I usually go from 1-3 lbs day to day and then lose it all the next. It's pretty scary but don't worry too much about it. Wait for a few days when you can really determine if you gained weight or not.

I'm 163 today I'm worried I'll go back up cause I overate today. arrgghhh!!! I'm working so hard to watch my weight. >:\  I guess not hard enough.. -_-

I don't understand how some people can lose weight 5-10 lbs a week. Don't eat? It's hard for me just to lose 2 lbs. heh.

Tamji - YES ME TOO! I thought I fed my stomach enough at lunch when it was growling in the library but I had really bad cravings tonight and I overate! I'm worried i'll gain 2 pounds tomorrow which is not good for tomorrows weigh in....errrr....and I was down 3.8 lbs from last week as of today. If it makes it any better all the food I ate was healthy :S

Before when I lost weight and I was at my ideal weight enjoying myself, one of my best guy friends liked everything about it except for one thing..my cheeks (face) that I lost.. he was sad that I didn't have the chubby cute cheeks he used to be able to pinch.. It got me sad too because I liked it when he would pinch my cheeks and call me cute, so I stopped watching what I was eating, stopped exercising and put back on the pounds I lost. :S

About 170.. I'm 163 at the moment and I lost it by controlling what I eat, choosing better foods and exercising.

Back away from the fridge!!! He's probably a loser anyway and if you eat that food for emotional stress you're only giving him the upper hand because it's just something that you'll regret and will end up making you feel worse about yourself. /comfort ** I'm kicking his butt (in spirit) for you **

Ohdee - that goal sounds like it should really boost your determination. I like playing in pools but I don't really know how to swim ^^; (never took classes) At least I can float on my back!! hahaha. I'm rooting for you!

As for me, my goal is 2 lbs/week, exercise regularly, eat healthy - BE HEALTHY. I'm trying to reduce the risk of heart disease since I just doubled it by being overweight. Being around a parent who smokes and best friends who smoke (especially in the car) does not help my goal either. I'm still figuring out a solution to that problem.
