Hello all fellow newbies....hollybelle, elsier,sianr1987,emskirooni and justsee 75!   I picked a good month to start!  Tonight I start back on the exercise wagon....next week I will add the food counting back in : )

I'm 5'7" - still 158.5, not bad for backsliding a week and half (again - up from 157).   I had McDonalds tonight...but this will be the LAST time this month..I promise!!!!!    (See putting this writing means I have to do it now : )

Way to go messam and Brigette...good luck!!!

Well, I'm off to straighten up the house...and then walk, walk, walk.

Hello everyone!   I really fell off the food and exercise wagon this week : (    Oh well, I didn't gain too much - went up to 158.5 yesterday, from my 157.    I will ease back into the exercise over the weekend, and then pick up where I left off on Monday.

Everyone seems to be doing so good!  Congrats!!  I think I need to read this site every day to keep me motivated.

Carie87 - I like the lean cuisines, so I don't have to think too hard.  I sometimes eat the a Panini for breakfast at work, cause I'm too lazy to get up to eat cereal.   I pack my lunch with these too.  If I do this then I can stay below my calorie goal.

Good night everyone...and good luck!  Don't let the weekend beat you : )

Hello everyone, especially all my fellow newbies!   This site is great.  It really helps to read everyone's posting right before you exercise.  It gives me motivation to put in a little more honest effort : )

I am at 157 lbs today.  I haven't seen that in 5 years.

The hula hoop sounds fun.  I think I have one in my garage, that I used to use for dog training.  Hum...if I have to clean my garage to get to it, that counts as exercise...right? : )

Congrats to all the new 140's !!

Hello everyone!  I would like to join your group.  Do we do a weekly weigh in?   I am now 158, so I will be here a while.

What does everyone think about exercising when you have a cold?  Minimal workout or none at all?

Hello...I'm just peeking in.  I've been 159.5 a couple days, but still seeing 160 too.   Should be in 150 club by Monday.   I've really been trying this time.   Just keeping a consistent exercise time seems to help.  That, and my husband is out of town : )   No cooking, and I can concentrate...no easy excuse.

Hi everyone!  I am still here @ 160.   I love this site.  It really helps to write everything in, especially the excercise.  I write in the a.m. and then at night when I want to quit excercising, I keep going just cause I am too lazy to go back downstairs to fire up the laptop :)

Tonight will be a good night - I can keep walking as long as "Gray's Anatomy" is on.

Have fun !

Welcome Andrea.   My husband travels a lot, but when he's home my eating plan just goes out the window.  He is a meat and gravy man.

I have had 159.5 on my scale a few mornings, but not in a row.   I stocked up on some Lean Cuisine meals so my workplace eating is controlled.   I am getting better at keeping track my food now, so I am hoping my progress will keep going in the right direction.

Keep up the good fight everyone!

Hello everyone.   I am so close...I saw 159.5 on the scale yesterday, but today was a McDonalds day.   Oh well, tomorrow is another day!  I will (eventually) prevail : )

Hello everyone.  Today will be the first day in a week and half that my Eat Meter won't be red!   As long as I finish my exercises tonight, today will be a great day!   Maybe I can do this a couple days in a row and really make a difference.   Wish me luck.

Thanks for the snack ideas.  I went out and bought the string cheese, carrots and almonds.   I guess I will try to plan the next day's menu on the Food log to try to keep below my limit.

Off to the treadmill!  Thanks again a777594.

Hello...new girl here.   163 this morning.  My biggest trouble is the evening munchies...I just can't seem to stop.  Any evening snack ideas?
