I'm 5'5.5, about 116 lbs and I wear anything from a 0-3, depending on the jeans. I have relatively wide hips so it varies a lot |

I have to agree with all those who said veins in the arms, I love it. Oh and I absolutely LOVE tanned arms with blonde armhair..I have no idea why. Every guy I've dated has had that haha. I like shoulders too, and I find guys with great smiles very attractive |

wow. I destroyed day 5. I swear it had to be something around 4500 cals throughout the day. That is disgusting. WHY is this so hard! Now on day 1...again :\ |

Alex that's awesome! Congrats :) I'm on day 4.. yesterday went well, I got a minor binge urge so I decided it should be a maintenance day, but ended up going over by about 200 due to pizza staring me in the face. Oh well, no big deal, I stopped myself at 1 piece so it was good! |

ilovechai- it was not easily done. My friend got one of those brownie ice cream pie things and I only had one bite of it. Now that was empowering. Yesterday almost went badly..I ended up eating 2000 cals before 10:30 am, but I made myself stop. That was a small victory right there :) I went to the gym and ran about 3 miles and did weights. It was an active day in general so I just counted it as a maintanence day and didn't beat myself up for it. I'm on day 3 now and I feel really good! I don't have the urge to binge. |

kae1106- you are completely inspirational. I'm using you as a challenge almost..if you can do it, so can I :) So i'm starting over with today being day 1. My bingeing has been horrible and out of control these past few weeks, and I think I know why. But, the same thing that is causing me to binge so much more frequently is a HUGE motivator for me to stop binging. What a complicated situation. I almost lost it even on day 1, but I didn't. It makes me more confident for tomorrow. I've put on weight from this..but not a terrible amount. It's an amount I can deal with. ugh. Anyway day 1 has been a success, even when going out to eat with friends at TGI Friday's :) |

Day 1 again...god I hate this. Idiot idiot idiot idiot. This is making me FAT and MISERABLE and completely unhappy. Last night was one of my worst binges inn a long time.. I swear I consumed 6000+ calories, half of it in peanut butter. The sad part is I'm not even exaggerating. Its not like that is even a trigger food; I dont have trigger foods! God why am I so pathetic? My mind is controlled by an unliving inanimate substance- wow thats cool. I'm not going to binge the rest of may. That's my first mini goal. I can do this, I HAVE to do this. |

definitely try amy's toaster pastries! I have the apple kind and the pizza kind and I think they both taste GREAT. The Apple one is great for a quick breakfast and the pizza one is delicious as a snack. |

You'll want to take it slowly. Also, you should REALLY do weight training while your increasing your calories (if you feel good enough to weight train). If you up your calories too fast your body will react to the higher amount and start storing all the extra as fat. It happened to me unfortunately :\ Weight training will help more of them go into muscle! |

another thing that works really well to get rid of cramps while running is breathing in and out as your left foot hits the ground. Each step you either take a breath in, or a breath out. you'll have to conciously think about it at first, but after a while you probably won't have to. It works for me every time. As far as training schedules, you could always look up some online if you need structure |

giapa you look great!! I definitely need to build some chick muscle.. I'm like an odd combo of skinny fat but fit at the same time. It's annoying. Out of curiosity, can you tell me what your training schedule and calories looked like while you were building muscle? And how long did it take to reach your goal? |

Well I don't log my food anymore, counting THAT religiously was making me obsessive and driving me insane. I do keep a food journal though, just so I have a general idea of what I'm getting. If I had to guess though, I'd say around 55-60% carbs, 25-30% protein, and 10-15% fat. |

| Thanks for the responses everyone! Shaust, out of curiousity, what is your workout schedule like? I'm definitely interestted in gaining muscle mass. Honestly, the number on the scale means very little to me. I'm not afraid of lifting heavy, I know I wont bulk up and all that. I'm not unfit by any means, I'm just looking for a change in body composition now. | |||

Well I've done a little research and my sources say that a smaller defecit is probably better when losing those last few pounds. Your body wont think its "starving" so much, and will be less likely to hold on to the extra fat. So it would probably be better to have a defecit of 100-200 through diet and the rest through excercise. This is what I'm doing, everyone's different so see what works best for you! |
