I don't want to get involved with the veg*n politics stuff, but I would look at why you are bingeing on meat. Our bodies tend to crave nutrients that we don't get enough of. Are you eating enough protein? What kind of meat do you eat? If you're eating fatty meats, maybe you aren't getting enough fat. If it's red meat, are you getting enough iron?

My gf was trying to become a vegetarian she was really commited but her body just kept asking for meat. So she gave in, and it was a good things because she's a very active girl and she needed that meat to stay healthy. She tried protein shakes and bars and nut and you name it but the cravings didn't stop. So now she eats meat like twice or less a week like me :)

You cannot spot gain just as you cannot spot increase. I would follow the link, though, and work on your glutes - but do not expect it all to go to your bum.

Yeah I'm sure only some of it....but even just a little more will be good :)

Well, I think at one time it was me. Undecided

Probably my sister. She was always the thinnest one in my family, even smaller than my father (He's a runner/weight lifter. 6'0" and 175lbs). But now all she eats is bread and cheese. Rarely any meat, and refuses to touch any fruits or vegetables. And she never exercises. She used to be a size six, now she's a size 18. She getting married in a year and wants to lose weight, so all she's done is replace soda with sweet tea. And she hasn't lost anything yet. Yell

wait replaced soda with SWEET TEA is it sugar free if not then why bother?

Weight and smell one is not like the other. You can reek even if your stick thin. Although they could of just ask him to go bathe....

Thanks for the advice. It seems like the env2 is the phone I really should get-I'm not even going to have internet service and all the extras. My only issue with it is that I hate how it looks...

I thought kinda the same thing about its looks they I got over it haha it does kinda look like a calculator.

Hi Gemma,

I am a Nor Cal girl too! (From San Jose) I just joined and started logging food and activities yesterday. I have already lost most of my weight (prior to joining this site) but am struggling with exercise (or getting enough). Good to hear from another Nor Cal grrl  =) Keep in touch!

Wendi

 Hello Wendi,

Yeah I'm the same, I have been a member for a while but just now started logging back in and posting and reading post.

I feel ya! I lost most of the weight I intended to but yes gym visits have diminished. I try to do push-ups and those kind of exercises at home, but I miss the weights and running on the treadmill consistently.

I had a gym buddy but she stopped going because of schedule issues. So it is harder to go on my own.  I try to dance a lot to make up for the lost gym visits. Haha you think it compensates it?

Hello! I do! haha I have the EnV2 is awesome, I wanted to get the Glyde then I realized that if I did I would have to upgrade my packege paying 29.99 more a month on my plan.

You can get the iPhone for cheaper service.

Anyway if you stuck with a contract with Verizon or just wanna stay with that company, I would recommed the EnV2.

Easy to use, great features, looks cool, great camera, can expand memory with microSD card and save and your mp3's on it, good speakers...all around its a good phone. I love mine :)

your 5'6 and you want have curves? You need something higher than a 2/3 for curves. Then again how old are you? Curves come natural with age I think, when I was 16 I was a size 5 and I looked super skinny now I'm just a size bigger but I do have curves.

Yes, running was scary at first I thought man this is gonna be hard. However, little steps take you long ways. I started by walking, then jogging, finally running. I like to do interval of fast walking jogging and fast running I burn more calories that way. Also a must to stay motivated and mp3 player with your favorite songs and preferably upbeat tempos.

I'm 5'6 weight 135lbs, highest weight has been 145 but I was still able to fit my size 7 jeans. Now, I'm size 6 in jeans, 4 in dresses, and 16 in little girls clothes ha ha I'm 25yrs old. I don't think weight is as relevant as many people think, its all about the inches ladies! Muscle is lean and beautiful, the same weight in muscle can look much smaller than fat. So if you took 5lbs of muscle and 5lbs of Fat and set them side to side the volume each takes up is incredibly different. So, when weighing yourself think am I muscle or fat?
