well by exercise i meant working out, and women dont have that much muscle mass to begin with so the not exercising effects are probably more extreme with men. but about your body eating itself away that was a little ridiculous. im not saying you shouldn't exercise, everyone should the benifits are never ending i was just saying you Can get by without it. the body wont eat itself away as you say, although you will inargueably get weaker, it wont kill you.

How the F did you come to That conclusion, you dont Have to exercise, as long as you walk around or do something each day you will have muscle, stamina, and mass. you keep that intact by just living. yeah exercise helps and is good for  you noone is argueing that but as far as "your body will eat itself to nothing" that idea is just too dumb to even argue.

well vodka is the most low cal, i know when i go out if i dont wanna get drunk i just limit my self to one beer. or for every drink you have drink 2 glasses of water. I hate how glamorous tv makes drinking like on sex and the city all they do is eat drink and have sex and they're all tiny. its bs, well maybe all the sex they have burns off the extra calories ; ). Now thats a diet i could stick to. lol j/k

yeah all they have to do is study and pass a little test, dont trust personal trainers, trust doctors. they can give you good exercise tips though

yeah i know they're fake i was just trying to make a point because so many teens on here think they need to lose weight when they just need help and none of them take any advice. so i was trying to show how ugly being too skinny can be. ya know

maybe it wouldnt look like that to you if you lost 10 lbs and maybe you wouldnt look like that but you'd be too skinny, you need to get help with your body image not your weight and no actually that girl is probably in her 20s or 30s how old are you anyway?

what i mean by self-image is how you look at yourself, such as instead of highlighting your flaws learn to accept them and love them. for they are you. You must learn to love yourself for who you are and what you look like because if you dont like yourself now you will never like the way you look no matter how skinny you are.

your intentions are good and its good that you can recognize you need help but its not your wieght you need to work on its your self image. in my opinion this site only adds to your obsession with food dieting and calories. You need to talk to a school couselor or someone who can help you because i really dont think this site can.

god am i just fat or what cuz it seems everyone around my height which is 5' 1 weighs less i started at 126 and am 121 now. and im only 17 i mean do i just have a large frame because i dont consider myself fat i dont have a flat stomach but still. my goal weights 110 which isn't moving fast.

since noones said it ill say it your 13 you do not need to be on this site, it sounds harsh i know but you are too young to be obsessing about calories you need to just eat healthy and try to exercise. Your body is still growing alot, the calculators on here are for those who are not growing. Believe me i know how you feel i've been over weight since i was little and have never had a flat stomach. I lost weight by exercising and eating right. Dont beat yourself up for eating your young try to be happy with yourself. Your losing for the wrong reasons you need to learn to love your body and yourself the way they are, before you can start losing weight.

that excersise molly m mentioned and pilaties are great for you abs especially because they focus on the lower abs whereas crunches dont. I used to do 50 real situps a day for months with not much difference but i learned about this new excersise on here that targets your lower abs and i've seen and felt a difference. you lie down with your hands placed under the arch of your back then you raise your legs knees bent to a 90 degree angle so that your thighs are perpendicular to the ceiling. Then proceed to lower your feet to the floor and then slowly back up. do like 3 reps of 20 believe me you'll feel a difference.

k well first of all your only like 15 and most likely still growing, and i while im 17 im not trying to lecture you but the calorie calculators on here are for adults so there in-lies the problem. Also you probably aren't eating enough since considering you excercise "hard" thats at least burning 300-400 calories. what i suggest to you is simply dont count calories, watch what you eat, like eat healthy and excercise but dont eat too little i can almost guarentee thats why your not losing weight.

i think everyone's afraid of being fat, but you're not going to gain weight unless your eating more than you expend which for you is about 1700, so dont be so hard on yourself focus more on your health and eating whats good for you than nesicarily counting calories. If you want to lose weight you do have to eat more, but that doesn't mean eating junk.
