| May 16th weigh in is 141 lb. no loss again or no gain so thats good at least. Major plateau though ...... I've been at 141 for waaay tooo long. I've been changing my exercise around and I guess I'm just gonna have to wait a little longer to see if that will work..... on to the next week............. | |||

| dfs - it is frustrating isn't it? But what dove stated above and you get to that point where you want to give up, don't because the weight will come back. Just eating healthy and being active, even without losing weight, is still better than nothing and there is so many benefits overall. I think its just a matter of improving your workout and changing things might help in losing the weight plus it will help so that you don't get bored with the "same old same old". | |||

| I've been stuck in a plateau for about 4 months now. I'm 5'6 and I take in between 1200 - 1400 calories. My weight has settled at 140-141 and I work out about 5 to 6 times a week. Some intense days some not all depending on how my body is feeling. It gets frustrating but from what I've been reading your body gets used to the routine so I have switched around my routine by incorporating tapes along with my treadmill and bike and of course I have increased my free weights. So I'm hoping this is going to help. I also believe age is a big factor as far as metabolism goes. Just need to work harder during workouts, along with eating healthy, seems to be key. | |||

| Hey ddparker - In regards to your question "when do you get energy??" For me any way, I find I have much more energy if I have exercise as part of my daily routine. It's almost like a snow ball effect if your not active. If you can find 30 minutes a day to work out even if its just a walk you will find you will sleep better, eat better and have much more energy during the day. Its a matter of mind set, good habit and routine to find time and exercise every day in any way. | |||
