Again, to everyone sgned up for 1000, I am sorry it is taking so long, but I have been very busy this month- I defended my thesis and have been packing up to move the past couple of weeks. I think everything is settled now and I will check more regularly. |

| You can do fasting for detox, but you need to really know what you are doing.
For a simple one, like pyxiedust said, cut out everything- try doing a fruit and veggie fast- eat fresh fruits and veggies to cut out all preservatives, etc. Make sure you wash them very well, or peel them to avoid anything sprayed on them, too. You want to avoid all added junk, which is hard to do if you buy anything at all! |

| The blue line (dark one) is the actual weight that you enter in each time you weigh yourself. The green line is a trend line- it tells you (from an averaging formula) what you actually weigh, taking into account water fluctuation, etc.

| How's everyone doing this week so far? I recently bought a bunch of new fitness videos so I am trying to get used to them before I move (instead of joining a new gym immediately) Someone recommended Caremn ELectra's aerobic striptease videos to me- I love them! I bought the first one, a yoga booty ballet, and a PiYo video- they are all pretty good, but I did Carmen Electra's today.
Otherwise, I still need to eat more, I cannot seem to ever eat enough in a day and I can't handle it! I'm not hungry enough. I gave up all things low-calorie trying to up them, I've been forcing food down my throat lately I feel. But the upside is ice cream- that's how I've been adding extra calories to my day! |

| Hey! I did drink 3 liters of water yesterday and do the reverse flies, but today (and this weekend) I don't think I'll get much done for this. I was up all night last night and tomorrow is Derby (yay!) so I don't think I will be doing much good. | |||

| Salas- you need to look at your net calories, because these are the calories your body has to live on. exercising is great for getting you fit and in better shape, but you can cut calories alone and lose. Look at it this way, if I cut 500 calories out of my diet and then exercise and burn off 700 of those as I did yesterday I am depriving my body of 1200 of the calories it used to run on! That leaves my body with fewer calories to nourish my vital organs, and you want to have enough to nourish your body, so you need to examine an overall deficit. For me, I try to get a net of about 1500-1700 calories per day because my normal expenditure is 2200 (a difference of 500-700). So, if I burn 700 calories at the gym, I try to eat at least 2000 calories that day to put myself above a 1000 calorie deficit (2000-700=1300 net calories, 2200-1300=900 deficit). See how it works? |

| Hey guys- I had a splurge day yesterday too. At 9:30 I realized that my net calories were only 700! (I worked out hard core yesterday!) so I bought a pint of ice cream and ate half of it! A whopping 560 calories and it brought me up to a net of over 1200, so i was okay with it! | |||
