I have both turbo jam and Tae bo and I like Turbo Jam WAY more. If I ate too much and feel guilty I'll use Tae Bo but it literally kicks your ass. You feels so worn out and can't wait for it to be over. With Turbo Jam the music is something you recognize and it doesn't feel like you'll wheeze your last breath after 10 minutes. The 20 minute work out is great if you don't have a lot of time, you'll still sweat buckets but you won't collapse from exaustion.
Motivation how to not binge? Feb 04 2008

DONT EAT THE CEREAL. Carbs are a trigger for binging.

Drink 16 oz of water before you eat anything at all when you get home. Eat an apple or some carrots or something that will fill you up without a lot of calories then LEAVE the kitchen and DO NOT go back. Just stay out of there until you leave for work. Take a snack with you and eat that when you come home and nothing else. Don't even go into the kitchen when you get home.

Go read or watch a movie you really like. Listen to music, do a project you've been putting off, write in a journal, go for a walk. Anything but eat.

Weight Loss Losing too fast Dec 07 2007

Generally when you start losing weight you're going to lose a good deal of water weight first, especially if you've cut back on your sodium intake. You weight loss will slow eventually, it may even stop for a week or so but if you continue with your current habbits it will most likely go to 2-3lbs per week.

When you have a child it weakens the muscle wall in your abdomen, unfortunately in a lot of cases the only way to fix it is plastic surgery in which they basically lace up you muscles. Don't get discouraged though, keep up you stomach exercises! who knows, be patient!
Weight Loss Stomach Size Increase During The Day Aug 21 2007

You finish digesting while you sleep, you lose an inch or two at night. Weight fluctuates during the day, it's inevitable and normal. If you consume a lot of sodium during the day it's worse. Be sure you're drinking enough water.

Unfortunate fact of life.

Pecan Pie
3 Buffalo Chicken Wings

2 Hot Dogs
Salad (why did I even bother?)
Grilled Chicken Breast
2 cans of Sprite
A HUGE slab of Chocolate Cake
A Cup of Chex Mix
A Cup of Cheese Puffs

Uuuugh. Now I beat myself up if I eat more than one cookie

Foods Fish? Feb 07 2007
18:43 (UTC)
Tuna should NOT have a smell when fresh, no fish should for that matter and it should be a brilliant pink color.

I'm a huge fan of tilapia and mahi mahi, a lot of people are picky about white fish. (I hate grouper and cod)

If you can find it (Wal Mart has it occasionally) Hoki is awesome.

it's not too big a deal as long as you aren't eating like... 1000 calories at 3700mg of sodium. (typically you should aim for 1 mg per calorie but how often does that happen?)

be sure you're drinking a lot of water (probably a bit over the reccomended 8-10 glasses)

Womens are even numbers, juniors are odd numbers, the 24 25 26 thing you see a lot at Guess. those are usually your size + 21, i'm a 26 at guess so that's a 5 in juniors. the S/M/L thing is usually 2 sizes each, an XS is NORMALLY 0-2, small is 2-4, medium is 6-8, then large is 10-12 hope that helps :3

Interval training is something alot of athletes do. It combines cardio and resistence/weight lifting/toning.

Say... 5 minutes on a treadmill, 5 minutes doing squats... get your heart rate up, tone for a while (try to keep moving by marching in place or something) then get your heart rate back up

I have played every version out there and I own Extreme, Konamix, Max, and Supernova. Workout mode wise, I like extreme the best because you can continue to unlock songs and it tell you how many calories you burn at the end of each song, as well as the total after the end of each 3-song set.

Max 2 has the best songs, it wins that one hands down and there are a lot of songs. Supernova is really confusing if you're a beginner, it has a lot of new options and settings that a beginner wouldn't bother with (I'm on heavy mode and truthfully I don't bother with them either hahaha)

Max isn't the best for beginners, or really anyone. It doesn't have beginner mode, only Light, Standard, and Heavy and while there are some good songs, they get old very quickly.

I own Red Octane Ignition pads, they are amazing.

The cheap ones that come with some of the versions with break down with time and slide on the floor. The better you are, the more you notice the suckiness of the pad, and you will notice.

Sooo after that long winded BS, Extreme is a good version to start with (then go with Extreme 2 or Max 2 if you want something else) and get the red octane reinforced foam pads. Your knees with thank you.

BMI is only one factor in weight, by the standard of BMI, Orlando Bloom is overweight.

What you should look at is your body fat percentage ^^

you may be able to lose 20-30 in those 10 weeks but don't be discourged if that's all you lose, that's a major achievement! It took me a year to lose 20, I did all the wrong things, but you have the chance to do it right.

Drink your 8 -10 glasses of water a day is my number one advice, and excercise. Anything, even if it's a 10 minute bikeride or a walk during your lunch. Maybe hit the gym on weekends.

Your body has probably adjusted to what you're giving it and you don't want to drop below 1200 calories so if you create a deficit with excercise it should cause weight loss

First, take it from me, fasting is a BAD idea. I am recovering from EDNOS (eating disorder not otherwise specified) I used to eat between 300-600 calories a day and it totally messes up your metabolism.

Also, all those ketchup, mustard, dressings, etc contain MASSIVE amounts of sodium which cause you to retain water. Remember that a pound of fat is 3500 calories which means if you burn around 2100 calories a day just BEING you'd have to eat 3500 + 2100 calories to gain a lbs.

You should never drop below 1200 calories. Even if you just sit there all day. Stick to untampered with foods. Whole grains, fruits(dried or fresh), veggies, natural peanut butter, lean protein (chicken, fish etc) and good fats such as olive oil. Just because you aren't eating alot doesn't mean you'll lose weight or be healthy.

7thgradechick I don't buy pants where my stomach/hips/back what have you, bulge over. if that happens, they don't fit. I'd say you're a nine or eleven. Wearing pants that create rolls make you look a lot.. chunkier than you are. I can comfortably wear a 3 but I won't hesitate to buy a 5 if it means smooth lines
