It's Monday, my weigh-in day.  Here goes!

Starting weight: 225

Goal Weight: 160

Last Week: 220

Current Weight: 218

Weight Remaining Until Goal: 58

Total Weight Lost in This Challenge: 2

It wasn't a great week, food-wise, so I'm shocked I lost anything.  2 pounds a week is what health-care professionals call "healthy," right, so I'll be happy.  I gotta stop watching stuff like The Biggest Loser...

I hope everyone has a lovely week!

Oh, the Morning Star "chicken" burger thingy is vegetarian.

I often have a veggie burger on an english muffin.  I'm not a huge dairy eater so I don't usually have cheese, but you certainly could.  Or put an egg on it.  I like Boca burgers (90 calories/3g fiber) and Thomas' light multigrain English muffins (100 calories/8g fiber).  I often have some fruit as well- grapes, a little bowl of chilled Mandarin orange pieces, ...

The thing about veggie burgers is that they come in all sorts of flavors.  Gardenburger makes a mushroom one I like, and Morningstar Farms makes a spicy chicken one that's really yummy.  Also, I change the spread I put on the English muffin- whatever condiments I have around- barBQ sauce, low cal salad dressings, salsa,...

I find that mixing and matching the spreads and "burgers" and whatever fruit I have give me enough variety that I don't get tired of it.  Also, it's my week day breakfast.  On weekends I treat myself to a breakfast that takes a bit more time to make and I eat it more slowly, usually while reading the paper (esp on Sunday).

Good luck!

No to sound like a fuddy duddy, but do you really want to start whatever this is with so much drama and a lie?

If you're emailing him back and forth now, casually mention that you can't believe you've put on a bit of weight recently and make some joke about getting started on the holidays early.  Then leave it alone

Then try to drop some weight so you'll feel better about yourself and get yourself an outfit you absolutely love and feel fabulous in.

Then, just enjoy seeing him again.
