| Well, i'm having the same problem but it's with only one scale. I bought a new digital scale that's suppose to tell you weight as well as body fat. Well, I stepped on it 5 times in a row (you know it's a new toy so you play with it) and it gave me 5 different readings some with a 4 lb difference. I've tried it again since then and it's the same thing. I think i'm just going to return it, i think it's deffective or something | |||

| wormann, I would like to know that as well. I've also always been pretty regular and since I started to loose weight last month I was early and this month i'm a couple of days late. Don't think I'm pregnant though since I'm on the pill. If this keeps up I'm going to make an appointment with my doctor to find out what's going on. | |||

| I'm not american, but here are my 2 cents. It's great that the americans help out other countries, but i think they mainly focus on helping those countries from which they have something to gain. They should try to help others even if they don't have wealthy natural resources. But then again, i'm not much into american politics, so what do I know?
hkellick, I don't think hyena had any attitude in her posting, although you certainly did. I belive she was just asking for more input and if you don't have anything (nice) to say then don't say anything at all. We're all here for some support, so I don't think it's necessary to put each other down with such comments as: "However, with an attitude like that, hyena, I hope you never need help from anyone" |

| I think it would. At a place where they do just yoga, specially if you are a beginner, i feel that they take the time to show you how everything is suppose to be done, properly, so you don't injure yourself. The place where I go the teacher is great and she walks around and helps you position your legs, arms, etc properly. Like i said I love it and don't plan to give it up anytime soon. Also, if you go to a place that concentrates on yoga only, chances are the teachers have more experience as that's all they do all they long. Keep me posted on your choice! | |||

| I do yoga and have done some pilates videos at home. I don't know if it's just me or the fact that yoga is a class setting and pilates i'm by myself, but i feel that i get more of a workout doing yoga than pilates. If you really liked it you should look into joining a couple more classes in your area. I have lower back problems (what a bummer at 28) and i was going to a chiropractor regularly (once to twice a week) for about a year because of the pain. I stopped going to the chiro ( too much $) and decided to join yoga instead and haven't had any pain recently. | |||

| Just got my Slim in 6 in the mail yesterday...can't wait to start. wasn't able to do it yesterday as I had a yoga class last night. I'm so pumped and ready to go. Everyone on this forum really motivated me. I had never heard of slim in 6 until last week when I joined C-C. I just have a question...how do you log it in the workout? Is it aerobics? cardio? i'm not sure. Thanks everybody for your support and motivation! | |||

| I currently do yoga once a week for 1 hr. I love it. I had taken a couple of classes at the gym but i wasn't getting much from it, as i felt they were going too quickly. So I joined a place where that's all they do, teach yoga and pilates. I signed up for the beginners class and am really enjoying it. It is definitely very relaxing for the body and mind, it really aliviates the daily stress. Don't worry about being the only 16 yr old, yoga is really about working on your self and everyone does it at a different level/pace. I was really surprised to see the range of ages at the class, there are some young people such as yourself, all the way through to some ladies and gents in i'm going to say late 50's to 60's range. Yoga really helps your mind and it gives you a workout too (ie. it makes you sweat quite a bit). I just had my third class last night and I'm already looking into what other classes they offer so i can take them once the beginner classes finish at the end of February. I would really like to know what you decide. | |||

| Thanks everybody for your input. I think I will take mcderin's advice and try to find one on ebay or second hand before buying the whole set. It looks like it's a great workout, but I would hate to buy it and then get discouraged if it's too difficult. Maybe I'll try to find one of the Slim in 6 as well and give that a try, from what I understand it's a little bit slower paced. Thanks guys for all the great info! | |||
