Thanksgiving to me is driving 9 hours to see my Mom!!!!Watching football, getting drunk with my soon to be step dad, eating, playing with my step nephews (they are so adorable), sneaking out of the house for a smoke (they still think that I quit), eating more, complaining to Mom and having her tell me to move to Charlotte NC (so close to her city)  eating even more, worry how the 2 cats are doing back in Jersey, feel bad for leaving them, drink some more...Bad cycle!! lol Can't wait to see my Mom though!!!!!!!!!! Oh and I can't wait to have Hush Puppies!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I am in an apartment. I usually set my heat at 68 and it ends up being 85. Right now I have it turned off and it's still 73 in here. It sucks and I am down stairs too! My neighbors upstairs right now have their A/C on!! It's 51 degrees out.

I'm going as a devil this year. I have a black dress and heals already in the closet. I found devil horns, tail and stick thingy (sorry totally forget what it's called) at walgreens for $4. It's cute and sparkles.

I like the fithy rich idea.

Get a hold of some scrubs and a stethoscope and be a doctor.

What are your friends going as can you all do some kind of theme?

I love Jergens. I've used for a couple of years now. Goes on even and results are quick. I use the original one but I think they have an express one that works in a few hours.

I bought a Bissell Momentum in Feb 2008 and I LOVE it! Still going strong. I have 2 cats and when I empty the canister (its so easy and not messy) it looks like I sucked up a extra **** cat.

I highly recommend! Bought it on Amazon for around $100.

Not much you can do. My cat is terrified of fireworks and thunderstorms. He hides behind the couch or under a bed. I feel bad but what can I do? I worked tonight so I left the radio on for him. 

 The fireworks in my town go off in the river behind my house. So when I got home he was freaked. I brought him home steak from work and he is fine now.

Amazing what food can do!

TJ Maxx and Marshalls are great. Macy's and Jcpenney have good clearance sales all the time. Consignment shops are good too. You just have to look for a good deal anywhere you go.

Good to know your still with us. Tornados must be scary. My only experience with one is the Wiard of Oz.

We do have sirens here at  the Jersey Shore but they go off when the tide comes in to high and you have to move you car to higher ground. Sometimes furniture too!

I having been having a bad week. It all started on Sat night. I got home from work and my roommate moved out with out paying me rent or other bills he owes me. Minus his security he owes me almost a grand.

But trust me that little bastard will pay. I will take him to court if I have to.

Thanks everyone for replying. My brother and I are the only ones who live close so one of us is there every day for a visit. my Aunt (her daughter) and my cousins are coming to NJ in a few days. My mom (her daughter in law) came in from Virginia last night. We are going over to see her today.

Guac rocks I have made it with half avocados and half green peas. Mush it all up ans you can't tell the difference and it's a little lower cal. But you can't beat the orignal.....
