Thank you for all your thoughts. I like what you suggested Malaika99 about cooking good food with friends and the fake happiness. I see more of what the Doc may have been trying to say! Thanks again! |

Actually for me his post just drives the idea of being careful of those items into my brain, I will still on occasion have them but hopefully that list will help me be cautious. I do have to laugh at the comment on cake not being on that bad list!

| Thank you, I am making a goal tomorrow of eating vegetables tomorrow. I am so glad you are willing to do what you can, I need buddies. I hear you on the busy life. I just need some sorting out help. Vegetables seems like a reachable goal for tomorrow and the days that follow. thanks again! | |||

| Thank you for caring & yes your replying made me cry..lol I am 40 years old (yesterday) I have a job and I live alone with my old dog but I have a ..."boyfriend" who is a bodybulder (isnt that a hoot) I used to lift weights years ago ...1995 is when I quit. My weight has never been the same. I get home from work and sit and stare at my exercise videos and eat whatever I can find. I write down things I could do to change & that makes me hungry. I know I need to eat better...and exercise...but I tend to try and go too much too soon and give up after a day or so. wondering where my motivation went. I just dont know where to start. weight watchers, the zone, aerobics? step? I am thinking way too hard. | |||

| I weigh 206. I am out of control. I was down to 192 and shot up to 206 and it took me 2 years to get below 200. I am just sick about it. I also would like to keep this forum on over 200 going. Thank you for starting it! | |||
