I have the same probably buy jeans. Honestly Express Jeans and trousers have always had the best fit for me and I have the dimensions of 39-27-41 and I hardly had any gaping in the back. The butt might be a little snug but that is because I have a lot of junk in my trunk..which I love! |

I had a terrible time on weightwatchers. Even eating all my flex and exercise points I wasn't getting nearly enough to eat. I barely lost any weight and felt awful. I need to eat a lot more then what WW thinks. Plus I can lose 2 pant sizes without losing more than 2 lbs. I look better that way too |

| Weight Loss | Why? | Nov 19 2009 15:14 (UTC) |

while it does take a lot more effort it completey possible to stay slender. My mother was a size 2 and about 110lbs until her late forties, then she pretty much said f*** it, I am going to eat whatever I want lol. Honestly it just boils down to a lot of them don't want to do the work so they blame their age. Lord knows I will probably be one of them |

Congrats, I am glad you are doing so well and upping your cals. I find my weight loss stalls almost immediately if I go under 1500 cals a day! With all that exercise you are probably putting on a bit of muscle while losing fat. I once went down 2 pant sizes and I only lost about 1 pound! You are maintaining muscle which is really important!! Plus it makes your body shape a lot better. |

oh yeah I got my egg stores!! Eh..it doesn't really suck. I am reaping the rewards of spending to much money on crap I don't need. Plus, its fun to figure out how to make a tasty meal out of weird stuff you already have at home. |

| Weight Loss | Question for people who have tried Weight Watchers... | Oct 23 2009 15:11 (UTC) |

I was also starving on WW. I was undereating by about 800 calories a day!! I got pale, not sleeping, feeling dizzy, extremely cranky and hardly lost anything because my body was clinging to every morsel I ate. When I calculated it out I was only eating about 1200 cals. At that time in my life I was very active all day at work and needed about 2000 cals a day in order to lose weight!! Counting calories and tracking weight changes lead me to understand just how much food my body needs to maintain and lose and if I go under 1500 a day my metabolism will freeze up on me! It took a couple of years of trial and error but I learned my lesson very well. |

Frankly, I hate women's tees nowadays cause they have those little tiny sleeves. They really only look good on little stick arms. I have great muscular arms that don't fit in those tiny little arm holes, the fabric digs into my armpits!!! So I wear small men's t-shirts or tank tops. Much more comfortable and flattering. You can go to express or abercrombie and still get cute little pink tees with nice designs on them in the men's section because of this whole metrosexual phase. Icky on men but cute on me! lol |

In college the football players called that pulling a puker. Even I have done that once in a great while. Usually due to pushing really hard. While its not good to do that all the time, I sometimes feel proud that I pushed myself hard enough to pull a puker like the big boys. hehe |

I have always taken the weekends off from strict eating and working out. I try not to pig out too bad but I go and enjoy the food and drinks I want. Sure, I undo some of the work throughout the week but the reprieve for my sanity is worth it. My weightloss was extremely slow but a lot easier to maintain. |

| Weight Loss | The past ten days I've totaled a 6500 calorie deficit... but I've gained a pound?! | May 01 2009 03:08 (UTC) |

My deficits are usually only 200-300. I am nearing my goal so weightloss is extremely slow but I don't mind. I usually burn around 2200 and eat around 1900. I don't keep track everyday though. I just check a few times a week to make sure I am eyeballing things right. I have learned to go with the flow of weightloss. I used to be obsessive about it and the smallest slip-ups would make me give up all together. It took me a long time to figure out how much I need to eat so I don't feel like crap. I tried WW once and it was horrible. It did not allow me to eat enough and I lose some weight and then stalled really fast and then gained a few pounds. |

Don't worry hang in there. I used to be a all or nothing dieter. It never worked and I would yoyo something fierce. I just learned to takes things as they come and don't freak out about slip-ups. It took several years of yoyo BS to figure out how to treat my body proper. Gains are going to happen. They happen to everyone for any number of reasons. Set it aside and keep going. You can do this. Your kids need you so, in part, do it for them. They are going to want their mom around for a good long time. |

I have similar stats except I don't workout near that much, yikes. I know if I had a deficit that big for more than a day or two you can bet your sweet butt I am going to be up a pound or two. I would ease up on the exercise and keep your intake the same. No need to be killing yourself at the gym like that. |

So I looked through your gallery and couldn't help but notice in all the pictures where you are really thin you also look very sad. The pictures of you with a fuller figure you are smiling and happy. Are you sure this goal is healthy? You have a history of ED so it might be best to concentrate on being healthy and fit. You are already very slender, ditch the 24 in waist thing honey. Thin does not equal happy. |

| Weight Loss | totally lost as to what to do next... help. | Apr 28 2009 18:46 (UTC) |

Maybe you have a unrealistic goal for your body type. I am 5'4" too and I know its possible for me to get down to 120 but my body is not happy there. I get lethargic and depressed and my face looks all gaunt and sad. I have to lose quite a bit of muscle to get down that low which is stupid cause I look way hotter at 140. Stop stressing about it. You are obviously in great shape and look wonderful. |

| Weight Loss | I weigh less and my pants fit better but my measurements don't seem to change. | Apr 28 2009 18:41 (UTC) |
|
Changes can take a long time to notice. Measuring included. I know I am very inaccurate when I measure, so I gave it up and just go by how my clothes fit. I know my arms are smaller because I can fit into some longsleeved shirts that squeezed my arms before. I know my waist is smaller because I need a belt to keep my pants on and I know my calves are slimmer because I was able to pull on a pair of boots that wouldn't have even zipped up before. Who cares about some numbers on a scale or tape measure. Go by how you feel, your fitness level and how your clothes fit you. That is the best indicator!!! congrats on getting in shape. Its hard work but you are getting results hooray!!! |

| Weight Loss | losing weight too fast? | Apr 25 2009 17:07 (UTC) |

Some of that could be a bit of water weight too. However, just try eating a bit more and that should slow it down a little. Try just 200-300 cals more a day and that should even things out. It can take a long time to figure out just how many calories your body needs. |

A long time ago when I first started weight lifting I didn't lose weight for 2 or three months, in fact I think I gained a couple pounds. But I did lose a whole pant size and then the scale started showing it too. Don't give up and keep an eye on how your clothes fit. its a much better indicator. |
