Stoopid Mellow Mushroom STILL hasn't paid the brothers! Can you believe it!? I-I c-can't g-get into th-the whole damn s-story. I'm s-so s-stressed-out by it all, I c-can barely s-s-speak w/o s-s-studdering! Mrpew is sitting on the couch, silent, working on an ulcer. He wants to hurt someone. Its so bad. I mean, these people are ripping off some of the most incredible artists in the country. Its making me sick, really, physically ill. They have signed their effing waiver to they can't sue them in order to get the $3k they refuse to pay and STILL they haven't paid them. Mrpew has resigned himself to the opinion that they have no intention of paying anything. opens basement door, smells the stench of stale urine, feces and rotting flesh... Smells like we lost at least one prisoner down there... goes down the stairs and pulls a skinny, near-corpse outta the cell and places him on the Rack, starts working it... Its good we have the prisoners to work-out aggressions. I can think of a few MM employees I would LOVE to get on this thing!

Haia, Jess! Welcome to the slum! Know I'm a little late. I passed out fell asleep kinda early last night. Oh, and you guys... I'm starting a new dietary thing which I can't tell anyone about until I've seen results. If it works I'll letcha know. If not I'm just gonna sweep this post under the rug and forget about it. No, before you ask, it does not involve starvation, puking or liquids only. Its nothing like that.

Yea, Moody? I feel kinda like that too. A lot has happened to drain me in the last month or so and I need to recuperate and adjust to the changes thrust upon me in my life. I love pot roast. Alton Brown has a really good recipe on foodnetwork. I had leftover spaghetti around 5, so I may not eat anything else of significance tonight. But I made chicken soup yesterday, so there's some of that left. Also, I pulled a big batch of beef stew outta the fridge. I hope the potatoes didn't get mealy in the freezer. Mrpew will have to fend for himself. I'm doing as little as possible.

Today was the first day it was actually cool enough to open our windows in about 3 months! Most of them were stuck from being closed for so long. I had to man-handle 'em. I got my first feel of autumn today. Its my favorite time of year in the southeastern US. Fashion Update: Long black cottony, stretchy skirt, purple top made of the same soft material, hair in a high ponytail scrunchie, no makeup.

Fashion Update Disillusionment mixed with a little anger and existential-angst with some seething animosity toward humanity, in general. My feet are covered in the slime from the trail left by the slugs of humanity and my head is dressed in a fiery ring of self-righteously indignant disgust for Mellow Effing Mushroom! We have such beautiful paintings! They haven't been put up yet, but we have unpacked them and have figured out where we want most of them. They're BIG! 3 - 4' X 2' 1 - 3' X 5' 2 - 12"X18" 1 - 18"X24" The chrome, retro 70"s curved lamp (just like that pic but more of a "c" shape than an upside-down "J," is not so much "retro" as it is "70's!" The wiring in it is very old and Mrpew is gonna work on it. I'm sure he can fix it. Not sure what I'm gonna do with the pedestal.

Fashion Update... A spaghetti-string blue cotton top - a comfy maternity cut. Makes me look pregnant so I rarely wear it out! White baggy cotton pants I had on last night with various stains from spaghetti sauce I made last night. Hair in a partial pony tail. Just imagine it dark auburn, to my waist with bangs.

If you can't defend yourself you lose. If we could hire a lawyer, it would be easy enough to not only win, but countersue after the judge throws it out as a frivolous suit. But, they are prolly calling our bluff, assuming accurately that we lack the funds to hire an attorney. We have one possibility left. There is a local organization, a non-profit, who provide legal assistance & representation for artists and artists' organizations. This is right up their ally. So we shall see. This whole situation may be radically different by this time tomorrow. The reason they didn't object until after it was a done-deal was because there was nothing to reject. We actually have an email each from two employees involved int eh project for MM replying to the design of of the booth he sent them with PRAISE! I mean, its an open & shut case, if you can afford it. I suspect the franchise-owner, who owns several MMs and are contracted to open several more restaurants. MM has their noses so far up the franchise-owner's rear its all they see or care about. And these people, the franchise owners (hub & wife team) are nasty, money-grubbing terdheads! Indeed! He was verbally-abusive on both occasions which he has interaction with Mrpew. This is just an ugly bunch of ppl. On a Lighter Note... We are going to the BIL's old place, where we moved them from to get the last things left there for us to bring home. There is a beautiful custom mirror the brothers made together that gets passed back & forth between them every couple of years. The BIL doesn't have space for it so we're gonna keep it awhile. Also, there is a white cement pedestal for a plant or two, a groovy 60's-style chrome lamp as well as about a half-dozen paintings BroPew did. Also, there are some lamps the bros made from old kitchen appliances. Nice stuff!

Dinner... Spaghetti. Not uh spaghettini (anorexic spaghett), or fetticchihim the flat long pasta....no. REAL "Spaghetti." Its cooking i have 5 mins to get back to it. Though it sauce outta a jar "classico" I am adding fresh parsley & basil from my garden, canellini (white beans, minced salt-cured black olives and a topping finely-grated Parmesan cheese....th e wine helps. So,.... of I go to trans-mutate the mana of this creative meal ideal into a true-blue physical manifestation. Its effin' Sketti, dammitt!! you donna like it? Mo Fo Me! : P
