hey-- i hear ya.

 

This is what i do.  I know i will eat at night time.  its just what my body needs. so i save some calories-- doesnt matter when u eat ur calories just as long as u get them-  for me  ilove smartones sundae. 170 calories.  so i save that so i dont over eat-- cause its okay.

I love  lean cuisine meals!! they are soooo good.  and its portion control in  a box.  IF you dont have time to cook, or just havea  day where u dont feel like it. I think its a great thing to turn to.  It took me from fast food to lean cuisine.

yes!  But I just want to eat everything and anything.  eek.  Luckily, most of the time, my weight does not increase.  Also-  just dont weigh yourself for that week.

My favorite is making turkey chili!!

really easy to find a recipe--- i just kind of add all the stuff i like (after cooking the turkey onions and green peppers to a skillet)  i add it all in to the crock pot and let it cook all day with kidney beans and whatever else u want to put in-- some garlic and onion powder.. idont really measure too much just make it to ur taste!!  so good!  aand lots of leftovers!

Nice----

When is the next time this group is weighing in.. ive been staying away from my scale so i wouldnt be annoyed by the daily fluctuations.  I was thinking id weigh myself on friday!

Hopefully see some loss.  

ANyways----an exciting announcement!!!  

Im in grad school-- i finished my second semester yesterday! SO now im on break for a month.  so excited and exhausted.

I slept til noon today.. very productive!  

Im a little worried.  I dont want to go into break eating mode.  Last night i was really frustrated with school.  But i didnt veg out.  First i kicked butt in my kickboxing class.

then i wanted chineese.. havent had it i nawhile.  But i ordered steamed dumplings-- 200 calories.  and steamed chicken in vegetables..... which cant be over 200.  So i did good and it fit into what i ate yesterday and ended the day with a B!  

 

How is everyone else doing this week?

So fiber one bars taste good?  I've always wondered about those bars in the health section.  The ones i have had weren't worth it.

weighed myself today------170.9!!!

Im really excited-- its probably because I was sick and didnt have an apetite.  I kind of made myself have soup and sandwiches and stuff around meal times.  

I'm all better now and Im excited by this number.  1 pound away from being in the 160's again.

Hows everyone doing?

Hey guys!! 

I love all the people that are joining.  We can all motivate eachothe and get under 170---  then we can change and call us the 160 group--- woohoo!!!!!

man i didnt weigh my self since thanks giving.  It said 174 on the scale.  I thought i was 172.

Anyways I have been really sick, just getting better.. so maybe it was all the congestion?  fingers crossed?  

Well we'll see on friday... well maybe tuesday hehe.  a week is so far away.  

Anyways- 5 by new years means under 170.  thats an exciting thought

 

Just a side note--- ALL are welcome to come!!  lets try and participate as much as we can with our hectic lives.  I think it will help us stay on track!

hey im 5'5"

yea 5 by new years would be good-- im off from school for a month coming up. so it would be awesome to lose in the next month while being home--

im bringing my comp home so i can track trach track!!  

One goal---- is to be reasonable in my choices in this holiday season.

Second Goal- 5 by New years would be nice

third- workout a lot.

current weight 172----  final goal is 140.

25 by summer would be a huge change!!!!!  I am in two weddings next summer--- 2!!!  so im trying to shape up-- those pictures are around forever!!

I have to agree--- the best produce around me is at whole foods--- i just bought grapes for 7 dollars! 

The problem is-- this isnt the season for the types of fruits I like.  So all the ones i like are really expensive!!!  

Spring will come soon!  until then-- i guess ill keeping shelling out the dollars or eat some apples.

My atios always look like that aswell--

if yo uthink about it-- carbs are in EVERYTHING -- well almost-- i just try to eat the right amoutns of fruits and vegetables on top of that--

 

and i hear u on the pb + J addiction-- last week i didnt buy peanut butter so i wouldnt be able to have it.

Hello--

i am hypothyroid-- hoshimotos-- i have had it for ten years----  

What have you guys tried that has helped losing weight?

I thin kit is harder to lose weight with the hypthyroid and I'm trying to figure out the right type of food to eat for our thyroids to metabolize it.

Let me know what u think

what i heard is you have a better chance getting hit by a car then being in a plane crash :)

i fly ALOT... i hate take offs. but once your up in the air it'l be smooth up in the air.. a little bumpy is normal! you'll be okay just remember to breathe. :)

some people with thyroid problems, like myself, try and eat lower carb... for some reason that halpe with the weight loss. Weight loss is ALOT slower.. but it will come off eventually. working out helps as well :)
