i've been a little awol, i missed you guys! nothing up, just time kept getting away from me so i missed the time i can go on and write. last night was out annual halloween party- i think the best one yet!!! i was elvis. i'm putting pictures up on facebook. weird, i didn't have one piece of candy last night, just didn't feel like it. at the part i had one piece of cake, one hot dog (with some chili on top, but not a bowl), and one side serving of nachos with cheese. though my cals were probably more than made up with the hot apple cider (and captain) ;) i'm so exicited for a holiday exchange!!! i always wish i were a better swimmer too! and then time will pass, and i'll think, why haven't i been swimming at the gym, by now i would be a better swimmer! i can swim pretty good, but i want to be a really strong swimmer, an effortless swimmer, and fast. so nick got laid off, work dried up (he's an electrician, so obviously this is a bad time for new construction. everyone in the trades was praying we'd get the olympics, lots of construction, but obviously it went to rio. but lord knows i'm sure they need jobs too.) but anyway, the point is with him off work i get to see him mon, wed, and fri mornings when i work afternoons!! (which is also why it's been hard to write ;) so we're going to the gym together :) egg beaters: of course you can't receate the taste of fresh veggies loaded in the eggs, but if you're going to try egg beaters and like that, i'd recommend the peppers and onion egg beaters. tasty! but the ham and cheese egg beaters is nasty. i'm a little up in weight right now, but that's ok, it's a sexy weight, boobs juicier, etc. (you know how it's always carried differently, same weight sometimes feels flabby, sometimes strong). i'll weigh in this week! |

Just wanted to pop in real quick! I've been reading :) carrie: You inspired me to make a squash soup!! I've got a tub of cooked pureed squash in the freezer and wasnted to make soup but wasn't sure where I was going with it. Your onions were the key! I purposely added a ton of onions b/c i love onions and they added the perfect extra flavor so I didn't need to use salt !!!(except a LITTLE at the end. I have a salt problem I'm kicking.) Thanks for the idea. Oh, I also used garlic, then added black beans for fiber. I seasoned it with a ton of curry and a dash of cinnamon. It was super good, and ULTRA filling :) |

pampered chef garlic press: looks like they run about $15.99 on ebay, incl shipping (new.) Judaism: One, i've got a thing for Jewish boys, so there was a time I could see myself converting if I got married. But two, as a Christian, I really wish we still celebrated the older Jewish traditions and holidays. We stemmed out of Judaism, the chosen people who worshipped the one true God. Then we added Jesus to the mix, which is great and of course important to me, but what about the traditions and holidays that venerated God, who is still our God, to begin with? I just wish we had some Yom Kippur and Rosh Hashanah, at least a mention or a marking if not an outright holiday. But I'm a person who likes history of religions, so maybe that's just me. It's funny because my favorite Christian holiday is Maundy Thursday (day before Good Friday) which is the last supper. And basically we're re-creating the last supper, but they were celebrating Passover so we kind of do a Passover meal but they add the words of Jesus and (at my old church) the minister washes your feet and you always leave in silence. carrie: you should be so proud of yourself for having the big raise talk with the boss! now you'll sleep good tonight. generator 8: I can't wait to hear some of your recipes! |

I'm really not clear on what the strike will entail, I've heard something about strike benefits and maybe for that I'd have to picket, but regardless I don't think I'm picketing. I just started so it's not really my fight/ don't feel informed enough on budget for an opinion of what's fair, but if the union strikes I definitely won't go to work. So the latest word is management let the union know this monday they think they might work something out, give them until the 30th now instead of the 24th as originally planned. so the 30th is the new D day and we'll see. If no contract signed, we strike. And unless I HAVE to picket, mini vacation for me!! so no paycheck, but we can swing it. omg! greta- that's exactly it!! it HAS to be the pampered chef garlic press or forget about it. so carrie, get one! it is double endorsed by CC members! |

carrie: why don't you use a garlic press!? And it you just rinse it right after the cleanup is a nonissue. with hpv/the ring, it seems from my limited internet research that a positive of the ring will be a lower dose of hormones, but the issue isn't oral versus ring, it's the estrogen. it seemed some women were saying b/c of the risk their dr. switched them to progesterone only pills. the ring has both estrogen and progesterone, but it has a lower dose of estrogen than combined pills. crazy news guys- i think my company is going on strike!! friday? for some reason the clinical staff at my job is part of the teamsters union (wtf?, haha) and we've been in contract negotiations since JANUARY with it finally coming to a standstill. i'll know more tomorrow, but it's so weird how it's not like a secret to management, right, but NO ONE IS TALKIN ABOUT IT!! it's driving me crazy. i want to know whether to call my client's and tell then not to bother to make the trek, or if they will come and someone else (like management, non-union) will provide services... the plan seems to be a short term 5-6 day strike, then reevaluate/hopefully contract, then posibly a longer term strike like 10 days. WEDNESDAY WEIGH-IN 132.2 I'll take it. My tummy's not poochy and that's the real test. Off to run, I'll respond more to others later! greta: congratulations on the race!!! you didn't just break your 10 min mile you smashed it!! and with a stroller. the cords look fab btw. |

things i can't wait to make from that website Annie's Eats: Soft Pretzels, English Muffins, Apple Cranberry Galette. The pictures from her son's first birthday are incredible. for the Twilight fans, how great for your pre-New Moon viewing party? http://annies-eats.com/2009/01/15/twilight-cu pcakes/ My sister and I plan to get together, rent Twilight, then go see New Moon together. Guess what this weekend is? The NFL season opener and the Bears are playing at Green Bay! unfortunately we are not off work Monday, but we may go up to my sister's (in Green Bay) anyway. (Nick might have to work all weekend though :( the Green Bay stadium is dropped in a residential neighborhood. like you're sitting on your friend's lawn and the team buses drive by and wave. Last year for the Bears @ Green Bay game we all dressed up in Bears gear then made jello shots in Bears or Green Bay colors and offered them to fans, their choice of team color. Doing are part in promoting good will between Chicagoans and Wisconsinites ;) anna: your salad sounds WONDERFUL. rennai: thats for the lower back strengthening exercises! that's exactly what i want to do. amanda: you and your sister will have so much fun in Spain! I took a whirlwind 2-wk trip several years ago, wish I could tellyou more of my favorite places, but the names of towns and what happened where are a blur now. Wow, running the household of 6, i caa't get it all the way together for the 2 of us ;) work in progress. you will definitely be ahead of the game with your own house. tracy: yes we need dress pics! i know it's still a work in progress, but i can't wait to see! i bet it's goingt o turn out even more perfect than you originally picked. carrie: 25!! Happy Birthday! I love French Silk pie, I have never heard of this french silk ice cream!!I will have to try it. who else has the birthday? Happy Birthday!! |

CW: 133.2 carrie: "Last time I was stellar, I was amazing, and the guy that leads it said mine was his favorite... tough shoes to fill." that's incredible!!! you should be really proud. but stressful for tomorrow, i understand. but it sounds like you're going to put on a really nice night for everyone. |

lil cris: i know, i was like, i'm not even bothering. thanks for asking about my run carrie! ugghh, i woke up thursday morning and was fine, then all of the sudden i felt my back a little. then next thing you know i'm hunching around like and old woman! so somehow i strained my lower back and i FEEL for people with chronic back pain. This was my first experience with lower backpain ever. so basically the run was cancelled friday. and i was laid up most of memorial day weekend. so i ate much more than i wa active :( I can still feel it now, but i'm getting back in teh swing of things and running this morning. though i think i might take it a little easier and use the treadmill. haha when i first felt the strain i was like, could this be psychosomatic? am i giving myself a way out of the 20 min straight run? :) haha this lady i work with was convinced i had a urinary tract infection that went to my kidneys (no.). she had a whole awkward conversation with me in hearing range of my boss about how now that "now that i'm a married lady and having relations with my husband...things can get pushed." really? this had hand gestures. and that's how i feel about a baby too. i loved the ring, i think rennai said she had it too and loved it. be prepared for more wetness at the beginning when your hoohah is getting used to absorbing the hormones. rebekkah: whatif the jeans are gone!? i third what was said, get them now :) greta: the hill with dog and baby (!) definitely makes up for milage. i love that you can run with your dad. |

greta: that's funny you should mention the fiber one oats and chocoalte bars! we went grocery shopping last night and ended up picking up a box of the fiber one bars in dark chocolate almond flavor. i had one this morning and it was sooo good! it's weird because i almost never get stuff like that but i'm really glad i did! greta, i'm the same way with the weight training. i know i should do it, and want to do it, but i don't want to do it over easier for me cardio, and therefore never make the time :( rebekkah: running a half marathon the morning of graduation!? that is so rockstar. carrie: your porch sounds huge!! just imagine sitting out there during thunder storms. or decorating for halloween and handing out candy! that's so nice your boss is moving the piano. new shoes: would you guys believe i run in the shoes i bought for when i was going away for a summer program... when i was 16!? I know i should go out and buy some actual running shoes to protect my body, but i hate breaking in shoes/ the cost/ laziness of finding a store/ these seem good to me/ blah! rennai: i loved stats. send the problem to me! margo: can't wait to read your journal entry about reunion/vaca :) WEDNESDAY WEIGH IN blah, so 132 today. i have to get the eating piece in check to balance with the regular work out piece which is going great. i guess the carnival food did not melt off me :) i finished day 2 of week five of couch to 5k, go me! Friday is run 20 minutes straight day, dun dun duuuuun! ;) today was so easy i fel confident about Friday. today was 8 min run, 5 min walk, 8 min run. |

rennai: WHERE'd you get the boots in your profile picture? loves! and you do look smokin' in your pics :) carrie: townhouse! awesome. and with a friend so close. so as it gets cooler you can have bonfires in your backyard and a few impromptu bbq's for the summer that's left. and now huxley can run! and you're still pregnant. that's breakthrough bleeding. amanda: it's going to be culture shock coming back tothe stae's butyour'll beso busy with everyone wanting to see you and hear about your trip. and as far as dating, you know you'll be the most interesting girl in the room. rebekkah: we use mission whole wheat tortillas here- really good and high fiber! i lay them directly over the gas stove flame for a few seconds, then flip. sometimes wheat torilla can be a bit chewy in texture, but i think the mission one's are really good. the retreat sounds really fun for them and a lot of energy for you, i hope you feel better. and i'm in chicago. (well, 20 min away.) greta: thanks for posting the salsa chicken. i like that it's two meals in one like chicken chili for lunch and fajitas for dinner. i loooove top gun. in grade school we used to watch it over and over again atmy friend elizabeth's house and constantly rewind the shirtless volleyball scene ;) today we're going to a hot air ballon fest in lincoln, il (2.5 hours away) with both of our families to celebrate my mom's 61st birthday and Nick's Opa's birthday who just passed away. they've got a fine arts fair and then a craft fair and a beer garden for watching the evning lit up balloon launch. |

Day two of week one of Couch to 5K completed! 5 min walk, 3 min run, 1.5 min walk, 5 min run, 2.5 min walk, 3 min run, 1.5 min walk, 5 min run, cool down walk. 130.8 today, so basically same as usual. It'll go down though. I have an ally at work now, she wants me to help her with healthy eating and wants to lose ten pounds. carrie and rennai your exchange was making me laugh :) |

carrie: Good advice about picking up where i would have been if i hadn't skipped a day last week running my couch to 5k program. That's what I did today, thanks to you, so now I have officially completed day 1 of week 4!! I'm definitely getting stronger and making progress. Though straight running with no walk breaks AT ALL scares me. And sometimes I fear I'm not going nearly far enough in distance because I'm going by minutes. I try to remember to take it one day at a time and it will all work itself out :) I'm gtting excited about early fall y'all. Though I definitely don't want summer to end and I worry about how fast this year is passing me by with the new hectic job, I LOVE early fall :) I went to a family birthday BBQ this weekend and I made healthy asian cole slaw- red cabbage, rice wine vinegar, ginger powder, red pepper flakes, and toasted black seasame seeds. I ate the other naughty stuff people brought too, but I was happy to offer something healthy. danni: That's how it is for us when we watch True Blood. Sexy vampire stories, right before bedtime ;) greta: I've just been thinking about my own plan lately, so I was wondering your perspective/ timeframe since you have your baby already. I also plan to stay at home with our baby. Any plans on when you will return to work? |

danni: thank you for the advice. i definitely tend to walk and run with one foot on front of the other. I consciously tried to adjust my form yesterday. i also took three days of rest instead of one. (really not by choice but because we needed to go to Nick's mom in the hospital so workout got pushed back.) But so far so good, no pain today. rennai: thanks for posting the blog! i ended up sending the link to all my friends. ooh, steven fox. dr. sex pot. margo: your poor dog and poor family. he can rest now. :( rebekkah: see if the weight dropps in a few weeks, but if it doesn't, with the working out you're doing, i would suggest more than 1350 cals. take your sedentary/base burn rate, add on your cals burned through exercise. then subtract no more than 500 cals. that's how many cals you should be eating. if you go more than 500, in my experience, it can extend a plateau. olive garden makes a fat free version of their salad dressing, you just have to ask for it. amanda: we always welcome new members! you're going to love this group. i'm 5'7" and right now about 130. my goal is 125ish, maybe a bit under. no rush for me because i get there then float back up to 130+ then check it and go down again. i live in the suburbs south of chicago. my name is heather. carrie: take a pregnancy test right now before you keep taking the birth contraol pills. what if you are pregnant? would you want to bathe your baby in hormones? there's pre-ejaculatory fluid with plenty of sperm WAYYYY before you pull out. you probably aren't, but end the maybe factor! :) if we go on a cruise we can run the deck every morning around the whole ship! facebook thinks i'm a lesbian becaus i have pictures of my sister and her wife, so anyhoo, they advertised to me a lesbian cruise! we could do all sorts of girly stuff and then husbands and boyfriends can't feel left out. haha ;) so yesterday i weighed in at 129.8 and today 130.8. so the weight is starting to drop. but my newest glitch is night eating. when i get home from work 8:30/9pm M/W/F, i am eating too much. or too many indulgences. like nick bought a brick of cheddar and i went to town on it wednesday. yesterday night i came home and there was double chocolate cake. so i have ot plan to balance out with more eating in the first half of the day and a substantial mini meal/snack while working evenings. |

carrie: six miles! whoa :) :) rebekkah: no, nick and i aren't planning on having kids any time soon. maybe a couple of years. we're having much too good of a time being together right now!! babies change everything, and we don't want to rush the next stage, so we're enjoying the anticipation and imagining. my cousin just had her new baby so i've got babies on the mind. i'm on week three of couch to 5 k! Nick and i bought bicycles this weekend and rode all over Saturday and Sunday! I'm so excited to have something physical to do together, haha, besides the obvious. speaking of injuries- on the inside of my leg, running vertically along the side of my knee is this pulling feeling/ strain. i've strained(?) it before where i can end up limping, so i'm kinda concerned about feeling it now. i don't knowif it's ok , just feeling it from workng out, or if i'm going to aggravate it to injury. so that's a concern, we'll see how i feel after wednesday's run. |

danni: Great Legs!! when i have babies i'd like to do my own baby food too. that's what my mom did for us. whatever the adults were eating, she'd grind up for us. so what do you do and use? food processor, blender, food mill, what? do you steam or microwave or what? christy: welcome! 40lbs, way to go! i've been feeling that fercious hunger rebound from working out regularly again. my body was used to eating a certain amount and maintaining my weight, now it's like, so much activity! starving! need fuel! which is leading to a slight weight increase (plus ttom) but i know from experience that will go down when the system shock settles and i get used to more watching what i eat instead of listening to this phantom "hunger." on facebook you can find me by email address hbbroadbent@yahoo.com, full name Heather Broadbent |

i finished day 6 of my couch to 5K program! Woohoo! rebekkah: talking about the egg yolks and cottage cheese, that reminded me, i used to mix egg yolk with cottage cheese (in lieu of mayo) and some mustard to make deviled eggs. the cottage cheese really stretches it, so you only need a little yolk. i've always liked cottage cheese, but to me it's more of a savory think and i like it with salt or pepper or curry powder. to me, the fruit/ sweeten it up stuff sounds gross. but i should try it sometime, i might find something new i like! if you're finding you're full but need more cals (like if you plateau at the lower cal intake), eat a small spoon of peanut butter. and i think there's too many foods out there to eat something you don't like, you tried it, move on :) i also use cottage cheese in place of ricotta to make lasagna. or instead of sour cream in tacos or on chili. |

margo: that dress is definitely hot! i wish there were still an arden b. at my mall. btw, my username on polyvore is hbb if you want to link up. rebekkah: cookie attack! hah so yesterday i jogged (S - L - O - W) around my neighborhood for 10 minutes straight! this is significant for me because i DO NOT walk or jog or run or ANYTHING around my neighborhood, i feel awkward, i'm a gym girl. but i did it! and i wanted to see how long i could continuously go because i'm a lazy wogger- jog a min or so, then walk it out a min or two, repeat. i never would be doing this if i'm not motivated to do a 5k with the group! so thanks guys :) i'm going to do my morning neighborhood jog now before nick gets up. haha. i'm hoping for that thing that happens where the person who hates jogging comes to love it and becomes an avid runner. EDIT: just got back from my jog. it felt MUCH better today, but that's alco because i did the first workout of couch to 5k, alternate 60sec job w/ 90 sec walk instead of running straight. it was beatifult his morning seeing the houses in the neighborhood, sun not too hot yet, and there's a trail that goes by prairie (granted, set against an industrial strip) with wildflowers and cattail fields blowing in the breeze. christina: can you believe i've never shopped at a farmer's market :( it sounds like such a fresh/romantic summer thing to do but i've never found one, planned it, and made it there. my town's farmer's market is on wednesday night so that's out, i work. |

twilight movie- i heard that the old director was horrified with the tiny budget they gave her for the special effects in the first one, said ok, now it was a blockbuster and you see fans were not impressed with the half- ash job on the effects, there's a big increse in needed effects for New Moon (hello, shifting?) I NEED MORE MONEY! and they fired her/ or she left refusing. the producers wanted her to do it for the same budget, greedy knowing how profitable it will be at the box office, and i think disrespectful to those fans who will be paying the money. anyway, i personaly think the clash could also have something to do with her being a woman director demanding what she wants. SOOO writing that last post was great motivation for me. i saw in black and white how i justify my non-exercising. so i got up from the computer Wednesday, and went to the gym! and right on carrie for your frankness! I value truth, and girls have a tendency to put up/encourage others bs even though they don't agree or see a mistake. avoids confrontation, but at a definite cost. (ya know, i'm thinking like when your friend is telling you about her horrible boyfriend and you're like, oh, you're right, he was probably just stressed from work instead of saying, you know, i don't agree with him talking to you like that under any circumstance.) Now what month are you guys doing the half-marathon? I think I'll train for a 5k that month, my first one, half-marathon not appealing to me AT ALL at this point, but i'll leave room for me to surprise myself. ok, i just found it in the posts, OCT 4. In Chicago there's the Elvis 5K August 6th and the Pumpkin Run Oct 17, but that's my sister's bday. I can check NW Indiana too... traci: my favorites are 1. you guys walking the dogs and 2. framed in the archway. very nice pics, vibrant colors too. i think you chose your outfit very well, love it! |

happy belated birthday rennai! marathon- woot woot! aggressive goal, good for you. margo the house and land is amazing! congratulations! don't worry, having the constant calls and headaches before actually signing for the house just makes it all the more sweeter when you do sign and take the keys (even if it's a different house). we had them too, so take heart. carrie omg, how many calories can be in SMARTIES ;) i understand you want to refocus and you think the snacking is getting to be too much, fair enough, but please don't beat yourself up! and maybe you should schedule in 1 roll of smarties DAILY. rebekkah wow, that's inspiring you're so quickly taking control of your new schedule and trying out the morning workouts. it is great to have the whole night free then, especially come winter when it's dark after work and the day is shorter. WEDNESDAY WEIGH-IN i have done NOTHING to address my fitness or weight goals. it's actually making me think what the heck am i doing hanging around calorie count for when i am taking NO ACTION and report week after week? i know what i would think of someone whining "i want to lose weight! i want to be toned!" then making ZERO changes to her routine ;) but we'll see what happens friday before work. today is a late day i could technically go to the gym, but i did work overtime the last two days so i'm chillin this morning at home while i'm able to. wow, i just re-read that and i'm thinking, excuse much? i'd like to take inspiration from rebekkah and actually implement changes with my new schedule, i have been at this job 2 months now! about time! soraya: I watched for your sister on Entourage- her wink in the limo was killer! I want to live in CA, but I worry that maybe actually living there I wouldn't like the superficiality of LA or it would affect my (future) children... But I guess I'll never know until I try it! Because I really want to love it. I've only been to LA once for a long weekend and stayed with a girlfriend who was living there, visited a friend who's lived there all his life and loves it. biatchita: 3.5 lbs this month- way to go! I'm glad you went back and looked at the numbers. rebekkah: the 9-5 transition is definitely hard. For me, it takes time to settle into a new routine and see where you can now fit in the workouts and your eating routine. so try to have patience, and good luck. you WILL settle in and you'll fit it in. I was talking with a work lady and she's talking serious about joining a new 24 fitness by her child's school where she goes everyday to get her from practice. Her plan is to go everyday and lose 30 lbs by Christmas. (At first I thought that was crazy talk, but she does have more to lose.) I was telling her, you're really inspiring me too! I found a gym down the street from work where I might go during lunch break. RIght now though I need to work through most of lunch so we'll see... I went grocery shopping yesterday and stocked up on too many veggies, as in I better cook every night to use them up! That was the plan! But then naughty me, when Nick got home at 9:30 I let him talk me in to eating fast food. He said that was his last night, he's starting dieting tomorrow. Today at work is cake and ice cream, oh boy. Still 131.4. I'm calling it right here- by Halloween I'll be 120. And dressed like a hoochie ;) I forgot about True Blood when we were talking vampires- i LOVE that show. Especially Eric and Lafayette. you guys, i'm growing my hair out (i think) and I'm hating it :( I need to find a salon I trust to do my color and take me through the growing out looking good and protecting/planning for my hair for the real color I want when long... I had a genius colorist before (and CHEAP!) but I moved away. With the super short I was just bleaching it at home. |

Wednesday Weigh0In It's time for me to read the writing on the wall- I need to work out! LW: 130.0 CW: 131.4 GW: 125/120 I really have to grab Nick and go do some fun outdoor stuff, because that's the thing, who wants to coop themselves up in the gym? I always get my best body through winter and am skinniest in early Spring because then the gym is fun! Or to be more honest, there's less distractions to going to the gym and I am encouraged by my Spring birthday. Last night I saw John Legend and India Arie and it was SO NICE. It's at Ravinia which is more like a giant posh picnic ground where you can eat and drink and socialize throughout the concert. Or you can getup and dance. My sister came down with Jen and Kayla and my mom went and her friend. MARGO: loved me some Lestat! But not as much Edward for me. I'm team Jacob ;) That's awesome you got some girl time in with Laura, I'm in the same boat girlfriend-wise. But Nick's friend has a new girlfriend who seems cool and worthwhile so I may venture out of my ususal comfort zone and do some stuff with her. oh wow, I just saw the time, I'll respond to others later! |

Wednesday Weigh-in LW: 130.0 CW: 130.0 GW 125/120 I'm holding steady at 130 which is not a surprise because I haven't actually done anything different yet ;) And I'm happy I maintained through a work birthday potluck and Nick's birthday bbq over the weekend. rebekkah: carrying the sofa 3 flights of stairs definitely counts as a workout! biatchita: so will you be a nurse nutritionist or what? I've been interested in becoming a nutritionist as maybe a future career and I'd like to hear more, I hadn't thought of combining a nursing degree and nutrition, that sounds good. glad to hear you're getting great results so far! you sound like such a positive person. we talk about moving to california one day. we're in chicago, so definitely cold winters here. dani: i like the canary too! but i've seen the watermelon in wedding party photos and it does pop. rennai: love walking lunges too! i lunge past all the people tied to their weight machines. i'm definitely LESS stressed about work and have settled in a lot more, but there's still a ton of work to be done. and i still wake up thinking about cases :) so it's still staying late and coming in early. it will just take time to settle in further and get more life balance. |

I'm here you guys! I read through everyone's posts :) CW: 130.0 GW: 120/125 That 5 pound rule stuff was interesting. I know my body is very comfortable at 130. I'm comfortable at 125, and my special occasion weight is anything south of 125, 123ish (i've yet to see 120 ;). So right now I'm at the high end of my 5 pound rule and I need to TAKE ACTION. We took Nick's grandma's dog for a little walk and I ran part of the way with her. So fun! That is the most fun thing I'd like about a dog (i have a cat)- taking walks/runs together with a purpose. I don't like talking walks or jogs in the neighborhood otherwise, i feel weird/self-conscious. But it's so nice outside and easier than going to the gym I should just try it. I have to brag on Nick b/c there's noone at work who's got a good relationship themselves I could tell. I came home from work Monday night at 9pm and Nick had left a note on the door to come to the back. There was the picnic table set, candles everywhere, a bottle of wine, and Nick! He had gotten us Chinese food, our favorite :) We're so so happy right now. In the next couple weeks we're going ot try to seriously get the house together to try and sell it while it's still summer and people are taking advantage of the tax credit. It's sad because this was our first place together but exciting too. |
