| Health & Support | anyone had a GOOD experience with yaz? | Feb 16 2009 00:42 (UTC) |

I have been on Yaz for 2 months. Yes...my chest did get bigger...I am just noticing that my bras are too small. I have had no problems with mood on this pill and my period is regular and I have had no mid-month spotting or anything(I had problems getting my period on the last one and then had spotting throughout the month). ALthough, I do not like how it is reacting with my body. I have not changed my eating habits or exercise routine. My weight has not gone up, but my body is changing and my clothes do not fit comfortably. I feel very bloated and look bloated. My face is breaking out horribly. I am 26 and my face is the worse it has ever been in the past 2 months. I am not sure how I feel about this pill yet. |

| Health & Support | stopping birth control | Nov 22 2008 16:00 (UTC) |

I was given birth control to get my period back too. I took the birth control for a year before reaching my healthy weight. After I reached a healthy weight of 120 at 5'5" and a body fat % of 19.4 I decided to stop taking birth control to see if I could get my period on my own. I stopped taking it in February 2008 and just got my period back on my own in October and I did not get it this month, so it is still not normal. I am trying to make sure I eat enough fat and not over exercise hoping to get a regular period. I asked my gyno about it and now she won't put me back on birth control until they figure out if there is something wrong, so she keeps sending me for tests. I also have to monitor my weight closely because I know I when I weigh 115 I do not get my period, so I know going any lower than I am right now is not my healthy weight. I would talk to your doctor, but I don't think I would stop taking it until you know you are finally eating the proper nutrition and exercise normally. |

Thanks so much!! I am reading a little more closely about each exercise. I am worried about the prone jackknife! I don't think my gym has adequate space for me to complete this exercise. ALso, for the step up...what do I do if I cannot use a step at the gym when I need it? There are only steps for the fitness classes and I often go to the gym at that time where I would not be able to use one bc the classes are going on. One last question...I am not trying to lose weight, just maintain...it is stil OK for me to follow this plan, right? I CANNOT lose weight or I will be in big trouble (I am recently recovered from an ED and gained the weight I needed to but now I need to tone up). I am totally going to make a binder...thanks for the idea emily! I am nerd also, I like to be organized..one of the qualities of being an elementary school teacher. |
