Hello everyone

Dances asked me to stop by

My name is sleepy and I am 39 years old, As of yesterday I reached the half way point in my diet with 45 lost and 45 to go. This has been quite the learning expierence for me. A little about me first, On January 29/07 I was diagnosed with Nash disease, this is a form of liver disease not caused my alcahol (I don't drink) your liver forms a layer of fat on top of it and is unabe to filter or function properly. The doctor I seen said to me lose weight and you will get better that was it. I came home and found this wonderful site that has tough me and motivated me. I also searched for info on the disease. I finally got an appointment with a specialist but it wasn't for another 3 months I was not willing to wait. I started eating properly and at the right times and exercising everyday. The first 4 months of my diet I lost 10 pounds each month now I am losing about 5 a month. I have hit horrid plateaus and made it through with much frustration. This is no easy task and there is no easy fix. Hard work and determination is the key. Please stay away from diet pills they are dangerous and don't work. A quick run down of my daily eating on a 1237 cal a day diet.

Breakfast: All bran ceral 1cup with 1/2 cup skim milk=250 cals

Snack 10 a.m.: All bran bar = 130 cals

Lunch: large orange = 85 cals

Snack 2-3p.m. : 100 cal snack pac = 100 cals

dinner: Usually veggies, steamed chicken, rice, salads about 4-500 cals

Snack 8-9p.m.: 100 cal snack pac or fruit sometimes toast depending on how many cals I have left.

eating this many times a day keeps me from getting hungry and keep blood sugar levels stay on an even line.

Thats all for now I will try and stop by again tomarrow

Dances hope this helps you out and thankyou for inviting me,

sleepy

plateau's are horrible I had one that lasted 6 weeks but stay focused on the finish line.... you can do it!!!! I weigh myself everyday it keeps me on track. Just keep trying to switch things up changing eating times, change your exercise routine and drink lots of water. After 6 weeks of going crazy the scale moved one day and I was so excited, My weightloss had slowed from 10 pounds a month to 5 pounds a month, I know it's going to take time to lose this weight and I had to let go of the time frame and think more about how healthy I am getting and knowing I will get there someday. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!!!
