| Thank you melkor for your reply. We have slightly hills around me . My drive way goes up. and then down again but not hills like mountians. In other words it is not flat walking. Hills will bring it up. thats great news . This program I am on is the first week I am to do 5min warm-up walk for 15min with my heart rate in the zone and 5 min cool down three times a week . the second week is same warm up 20 minwalk and 5 min cool down. this is the first time I have taken my pulse to see where it is at.If you have any more tips for me I would be thanks ful. I am 59 years nest month and at 205 pound and am desperate to get in reasonable shape for my age. And I love to walk.

| Hi everyone. I would like to welcome everyone new and just add my congrats to all who have been trying so hard. I am afriad to weigh myself because if I am not doing will , I am afraid i will mess up my weekend so I will weigh one Monday. I feel I am finally sticking with it with all your help. I look at what i have logged and if I am pick the correct items I should do will. If I don't blow it on the weekend. I guess you can tell my weekends are the hardest. Thanks for letting me join this group.

I have foremans grill and microway Like that mainly for reheating and just about have any gagget you can think of except a rotisserie We eat a lot of chicken and ground turkey and ground chicken red meat only once a month . like all veggies, and pork tenderlion.and my husband likes deserts every evening so if you can come up with low cal ones that can go with my cal amount. it will truely help. and yes feel free to send it to me on my email address. | |||

I would like one week breakfast lunch and dinner. bye the way I am at 212 and my goal is to get to 150 for health reasons and I am trying to set little goals along the way. first goal sticking to 1800 cals and getting to 200 on the menu thing I'd perty much have breakfast and lunch it's the dinner I have trouble with. any help out there? | |||

| Thanks for your help. I find I am so rushed after work that I grab food any food. I need more planning I think. I also like to eat out so I don't have to cook. but the protions are so large. I feel if i eat the left overs I'm doom for the next day. What i would like is a menu plan for the week with reasonable not fancy food. so I can buy the groceries and then follow the menu. which I have set up for the calories I need per day is there such a thing. on the web a person could use? | |||

Just letting you all know I have a new perspective and I feel a lot better about my life time weight control cc plan. I believe I have stopped stressing over food and I will take one day at a time. Also I am taking control of what's going into my mouth. 2 pounds off this week. Linda |

| Poangel4 I added you to my friends list. I started Jan 31st at 210 as of today I am 200, I almost gave up last week but a co-worker of mine has been doing cc for awhile and told me she lost 62 pounds. and she showed me her ups and down. I am so prood of her. i discided to keep going. glad to here you are with us. These area of conversation help me alot also.

Thanks to all of you for your input. I descided I have been just making excuses. and this morning I am going to start on 1400 cal a day and stick to this if I am hungry. let me eat salad until my stomach get set with the program. what do you all think of making a menu for the whole week? My husband wants me to do this but I find it so fustrating when we change. it. I feel it's a waste fo time. but this is a constant battle in my home. |

I frist started with 1200 cal and I was hungry so I changed it to 1800 same problem to maintain my weigh as it is it says I eat about 24oo cal a day so I changed it to 2000 cal still after 2 to 3 days I would start binging again. I think I am just using diet as an excuse. could that be possible. Am I just making this hard on myself???? | |||

| Been with cc 3 weeks tomerrow and I have a real bad time on the weekends. I believe it's just my way of unwinding from a very long week. But the more I try to keep my cals down the more I eat. The news is not all bad thou. I am trying to stay at 1500 cal on the weekdays and frist week I lose 3lb second week I lost 4 and this weekend was really bad 3000 cal on saturday.but I only gain one back, I'm ok with that. | |||

| Hi everyone ,Still working on losing this weight. I discovered that I am maintaining at the wrong weight. I think I am reducing cal. but when I track on what I eat threw the weekend I bring it back up just to keep me where I am at. so I have not hit the weekend yet since my last posting , it is getting close. If I am figureing my cals correctly I have been right around 1780 cal a day. I also used one of the tools and if I want to be 150 pound by my birthday in Nov.I have to cut back to 1400 cals a day. That seem like a big drop from what I am doing now. little scared. any thoughts on this on how I can take off 380 cal a day and not be hungry?
