| just relax...you cant live your life in fear of gaining a tiny bit of weight overnight...whats the fun in that? besides, having a low cal snack to prevent you from going insane from hunger pangs will not make you gain any weight | |||

| these are great ideas but im just worried cause im going to be doing the hostel thing...that means not staying in one place very long, lots of beer around and days spent on the train...its definately mainly the alcohol i am worried about...i mean how can i restrain myself when everyone else is having a good time? | |||

| i think it has a different affect on each individual...birth control has done wonders for me...ive lost weight since ive been on it (although i dont think it has much to do with the pill) its cleared up my skin etc. the only time i am heavier is when i have my period...which is completely normal...i would give it a try and see how it works for you | |||

| i go to the gym after breakfast everyday, and i find i need to eat a lot to keep me energized for my entire workout...i probably eat the majority of my calories in the morning | |||

| yeah im not too sure about going on meds...ive considered it before, but how do i know if my anxiety is bad enough for it? i mean, i can still function, although sometimes at work i need to take a breather because i feel like im going to have a heart attack... i dont know, the meds kinda scare me. although i do take sleep aids at night that help me relax and fall asleep | |||

| yeah its tough eh? I often feel like im dying or having a heart attack or a stroke. ive had it for about 4-5 years. im pretty sure i know what causes it (a past traumatic event) it got better for a while, but lately it has been coming back more and more. but yeah i have considered going on meds, thats a good idea to see a doc....thanks for the advice | |||

| it depends on when you have the most energy. sometimes i find it hard to go to the gym after work because im so beat. therefore i try to work out in the morning, this way i can go home after work and not have to worry about dragging myself to the gym. also try not to go too late at night as this could disrupt your sleep | |||

| slice up an apple, put it in a bowl with a little bit of water in the bottom, and put some plastic wrap over it, microwave, then add cinnimon and some splenda...maybe sprinkle a little granola on top. tastes like apple pie. | |||

| Try Oregano oil. I swear by the stuff. Im prone to getting a lot of colds, so i take a few drops under the tounge when i feel like im getting a sore throat. I dont really belive in too many herbal remedies but this one really really works. its pretty expensive (35ish bucks) but well worth it. you can get it at walmart or any health food store. | |||

| oh god i know what you mean...actually one time i didnt want to drink, but i constantly had a big red cup in my hand filled with water or diet coke, so everyone just assumed it was booze and i didnt get any "why arent you drinking? where's your drink?" drunk people can be pretty pushy hey? | |||

| yes weekends definately can sabotage a diet...especially the lack of self control, i used to go out on an empty stomach, drink a lotta booze and be so starving that i would scarf down everything in front of me...like half an ice cream cake. I find now that when i have a substancial dinner right before i go out, it helps control the drunk munchies, and it slows down the alocohol absorbtion into my system. this way i get drunk slower, and have time to think about making decisions | |||

| im assuming its just the dehydration, i mean how could consuming hundreds maybe even thousands of calories and a ton of sugar possibly make you lose fat. yeah i drink a ridiculous amount of water during the day, so im guessing that is the weight that i am losing when i start replacing it with alcohol. ive gotten a lot better with drinking water in between alcoholic drinks, i try so hard everytime...i keep a huge bottle of water beside my bed for when i wake up in the morning as well. | |||

| I used to go to Mcdonalds, sit down, and eat two cheese burgers, six mc nuggets, a crispy chicken sandwich a small fries and an ice cream cone all in one go...and i didnt gain any weight. keep in mind i was 14 years old. but, after a few years of healthy eating i honestly dont really crave the stuff anymore...sounds like BS, but its true. the only times i do is when im watching t.v. late at night when those commercials for KFC and Wendy's show close ups of mouth watering burgers...clever advertising bastards. oh yeah, and A&W fries are far superior to those of mcdonalds. | |||
