me too! i'm 16 years old right now and i started counting calories when i was about 14... and i've become obsessed. i'm always thinking about EXACTLY how many calories i have and worrying about what i'm going to eat for the rest of the day.  i'm even at the point where i'll feel guilty for eating 1400 calories and i obsess and freak out about what i eat... i'm trying to help become more calm about counting calories and not freak out if i've eaten a normal amount of calories. =/

i know who you feel... i'm 5'4" and 128/130 as well, and i want to loose about 12 pounds or so.

it's really hard because hanging around with my naturally skinny friends so much tempts me to eat more... but, we can do it. =]

ohh.

i'm so glad there's a post like this. i'm apple-shaped too.  when i wake up in the morning my stomach is flat... but as soon as i eat something... even if i'm not stuffed... i feel so bloated and fat in the stomach and disproportional!!

that happened to me last year. i'm a swimmer... and i wasn't eating enough during the season for how much i swam... and i didn't get my period for the whole season.

I'm also a swimmer... and this season my times got so much better because I was eating more calories.  Last season I went for about 1,500 a day, and this season I was between 1,800 and 2,000 a day... so it really does help!

thanks guysss.

i know i should try and have more control... but it's like, i see them and i'm like, "they're doing it and they're skinny... i'll be fine."

and i swim for on average 16 hours per week (but the seasons actually ending tomorrow... so i'm a little scared of whats gonna happen until i get myself on another workout plan) so it's not like i'm gaining, i'm just not loosing.

and basically everything we do revolves around food.  tonight we went to olive garden, and i feel SO sick right now because i just ate TOO much, and last weekend we went out at midnight for an ice cream run... and whenever we go to movies we're always out to dinner afterward. ughh. but i know that i'm the one that has to control myself. it's just really, really hard to watch everyone else pig out mindlessly!

yeahh!

i wouldn't say that i look 3 months pregnant big, but if i eat too fast or too much, it's definetely noticably bigger!! and it's even worse after i drink diet soda or something that makes me bloated! ughh

Morningstar makes really yummy veggie/vegan stuff that you can find in the frozen aisle at the store... I LOVE the veggie mini corndogs (you can't even tell they're vegetarian) and the chicken strips are good with bar-b-que sauce.  Plus, they're packed with protein so you won't feel hungry an hour after eating them.

Yes!  I've been a pescatarian for a little over 4 weeks.  I'm in high school and pretty much have to bring my lunch everyday (which doesn't bother me considering all the school food is unhealthy and full of fat), but I've come to find that fish is pretty good.  I like popcorn shirmp (I put it in the oven, not deep fry it), and halibut the best.  And I know it sounds gross, but I eat the fish with LOTS of ketchup.  haha.  And there's also pretty good vegetarian/vegan products from Morningstar.  I really LOVE their Veggie Corn Dogs (You can't even tell they're vegetarian), and their vegetarian chicken strips with some bar-b-que sauce.

I burnt off 400 calories at the gym today! and have already eaten dinner and am only at 1,000 cals for the day! yes!

1. Go to the gym and work out 45 minutes cardio... burn at least 400 calories

2. Do not eat after 8:30

3. Drink 3 bottles of water

4. Study biology. haha... i know it has nothing to do with weight loss, but biology is HARD and i don't get it!

thanks everyone... but yoga... i dont think i would like it. there's a yoga thing on Yourself Fitness and I can't stand it... but I like pilates and cardio a lot... and maybe soon when there's not 8 inches of snow on the ground like today I'll go for a walk. haha
