I wish I could, I've been waiting for another meet up since laser tag, but that happens to be the same day as the Girl Scout Council annual meeting, and I am a delegate with the responsibility to attend. :( Sad. I wish I could see you all-maybe at the next one... |

| This is actually pretty cool and weird- I am about 5'7 1/2, and at 190 I was a size 16/18. I don't know how you managed to stay a 14, perhaps you have more muscle tone than I do. I am jealous that you could wear an outfit like that at 190-I haven't even worn shorts in 6 years! I must say, you look great at any size. | |||

| Try a snack like string cheese or an apple. The protein might help out, and I've read that you shouldn't consume carbs late at night. What I do is put that tooth whitening stuff on my teeth before I go to bed. The Crest stays on all night, so maybe if you do that and wake up, you'll still have it on your teeth and not want to have to brush it off to eat something |

| I keep a rubber band around my wrist, and whenever I get munchies I snap it, not hard enough to do any damamge, but hard enough to sting a little-it takes my mind off the food. Sometimes I brush my teeth and then put on some tooth whitening stuff. You can't eat or drink for 30 minutes with that stuff on, it also works pretty well for me. If all else fails, I do a few chores around the house. gather up a load of laundry, scrub the toilet, etc. Takes my mind right off it! |

| I get this often, especially in the evening. Sometimes even right after dinner! I keep a rubber band around my wrist, and when I feel like I'm hungry or want to munch, I snap it, which takes my mind off the munchies. It usually works pretty well, but for hard core times I get up and jog in place for 5 minutes, or count to a hundred. As a last resort I brush my teeth. Being aware that you have this feeling but are not hugry is a big step in controlling it, I think. Find a way to take your mind off of it, and hopefully that will help you out! | |||

And it's not "plus 5" for me anymore, because my friend flaked and said she doesn't have enough money. I told her it wasn't very expensive, but I guess it's more the drive for her than anything. Oh well. I got suckered into being a chaperone for a lock in at the bowling alley Saturday night. Whoo hoo. I guess it won't be bad if I can bowl and have fun too, but if I have to just sit around I'll go crazy and fall asleep! It's from 11 pm to 7 am. So soccer game first thing Saturday morning, then drive to Mesa for Laser Tag, then back home to the lock in. Hmmm, maybe I'll leave early from Laser Tag and take a nap. nah. |

| I have the worst time with night-time munchies, it is the worst part of the day for me! I would eat and eat and eat and ruin my whole day of healthy eating. I found this stuff, Crest Night Whitening Gel, you paint it on your teeth and sleep with it on your teeth. It's thick and yucky, but if I put it on soon after dinner, it keeps me from eating anything, and then I just brush it off in the morning. It was the only solution that has worked for me-just a thought! | |||

Wow Star , you are under 150! Whoo hoo! And you are way smaller than me (not just by 30 pounds either). But I know what you mean about understanding your size. I see women all the time around my size and try to guess if they wear the same size or smaller than me. I know I shouldn't do that, but I'm always curious about that. There is one girl on this site who has all the same stats as me, height and weight, but she is a size 10-12 as opposed to my 14! Weird! I guess she has just more muscle, and I need to work on that part of me Suzanne-those cupcakes sound really good to me! Better than regular brownies or something equally bad for us. I have heard about those no pudge brownies, I think you mentioned them previously, but there is not a Trader Joe's here in Prescott, or even close by, and they don't sell them online that I could find. Perhaps I should stop by while I'm in town and try them out. |

| I would think that a hospital would need to know nutrition information, for those patients there on restricted diets and allergies? It just seems silly that they can't give you the info. If they really won't give you any info, I would say start baggin' it! | |||

| Mmm, carrot cupcakes sound good! Great job to both of you on your loss! I gained 4 pounds, but I'm back on track (as of yesterday) and plan to lose 6 pounds by our meet. Well, actually by my birthday, because I don't want to turn 32 and weight over 180. On my last birthday I weighed almost 200, so that is not too bad. Little by little, I guess? | |||
