Is it normal to be losing weight while sick? I seemed to have dropped a few pounds even while eating normally.

Also, found out the other day while on the scale that I wear about 2 pounds of clothes.

Personally, I don't know if I can trust my parents or not about relationships seeing my mom already divorced once and is about to divorce again because my mom thinks that love is about sex and having your spouse obey your every whim without question, whereas my step-dad thinks it's sort of the opposite.

I guess to put it as... He tries to treat her equally yet she wants to be treated more then equally.

Radbird, you will not gain weight uncontrollably if eating the healthy amount, only if you're eating things that are unhealthy such as fast food or similar. But you will probably not gain weight if lingering around 600-1000 calories a day.

Swimming is a good one to build muscle, and so is lifting weights, doing push-ups, crunches, biking and walk/running. Exercise should also make you hungry which should help you eat more.

'kay, maybe I might try and go to the store tomorrow. Also, I think I'm dropping again because today my step-dad said I looked as pale as a ghost and one of my old teachers I was visiting ask if I was anorexic. I need to weigh again sometime and see what's up.

I hope to get a job soon, I'm looking forward to getting some ingredients to make one of my special meals. It's either going to consist of eel, octopus, clams, or all... dunno, but going to be healthy and high calorie.

Maybe make your own trail mix thing, like with mine has... raisins, cereal (I prefer chex), granola, chocolate drops, marshmellows, shredded coconut, pretzels, and sesame sticks.

I have nuts in mine, but just took them out of the list.

heh, I like to make my own trail mix since some kind dump the salt on everything, even the chocolate... Which tastes very weird to me.

Coming from a kid who sorta did this and so did my siblings, don't worry too much, don't overreact, it is just a lil' phase. But if you overreact, worse may happen in the future. So just tell her that kissing is for adults and family. Though, I told my siblings that if they kissed too much while they were young they'd get cavities... hehe

Thanks, but it does take a little time to get up to that much. I think my stomach limit in one meal is 3 pounds... sometimes more if I'm in the mood for some all-you-can-eat place. hehe

Well, for breakfast I usually eat 1 container of yogurt, drink 1 ensure plus, 3 tangerines, and 1 banana and jelly sandwich. Then for lunch I eat a turkey sandwich, another yogurt, 2 bananas. Then for dinner I usually eat something with either beef, noodles, or chicken (sometimes all those together) with a good serving of veggies (like peas or stir-fry), with 1 ensure. But throughout the day when I feel somewhat hungry I'd snack on some trail mix or fruits when I don't have trail mix.

Hmm... I could give an example of my diet type, seeing I always try to get at 3000 a day without stuffing myself till I pop, hehe.

And I understand the nut thing, I actually partly developed my loathing for chocolate in that way. >.>

How about... Strawberries, peaches, spinach, radishes, broccoli, cauliflower, rutabagas, cabbage, yogurts, brussel sprouts(me: eww), tomatoes, carrots, and potatoes?.. There probably more I can think of, but not off the top of my head right now like that.

But why not nuts? allergies or somethin'? Because other then that they're very good for you.

Sounds like an alright dinner, I usually try to shoot for a 700 calorie dinner. :)

Sweetie is right. Some people are different when it comes to calories, for me, I can maintain at 3000 calories a day. Which seems kind of odd to me so I'm going to be checked for hyperthyroidism. May I ask of your weight and height radbird?

Edit - Read your profile...

Okay, here is a suggestion, Radbird... try...

2600 calories a day with 360g of good carbs, 90g of protien, and 80g of fats if you can fit it all in. But get up to this point slowly or it might not feel good if you're not near this already.

I was thinking of maybe getting some more exercise into my week and try some of that N-Large stuff since they got some healthy stuff in them I've read. What do you all think of the stuff or what knowledge of bad parts should I know of?

1-2 pounds a week is healthy.

I usually drink about 2 ensure plus a day with 3 medium meals and 2 snack times, but I've been adjusting my diet every week to test out ideas that I thought might work. Haven't found one yet though, my mom and me might got to the doc soon to see if she's hypothyroid and me hyperthyroid.

I wouldn't really suggest that much seeing green tea is a diuretic and personally that'd keep me in the bathroom all day... :)

I don't really meditate often, but when I do it's usually when I'm sick or something and seems to help. I'm often quite hyperactive, but when it comes to meditating it sort of changes... until my leg cramps that is.

I also don't meditate often because the place I like to meditate at is sort of far from my house, if you've heard of Silver Falls Park, Oregon, then you'll prolly know what I'm talking about.

I like to sit in a nearby hiding spot that is commonly overlooked and meditate there by the waterfall for a little till my leg cramps, then I move on to the next waterfall. It seems to help alot when I'm sick.
