| can't read/post right now... CRAZY DAY!!!
I'll be way behind Monday so I'll just chime in where everyone left off! I looked up the calorie info for the sub I'm getting tonight, I guessed 400, it's only going to be about 250. hooray!!! girls night tonight, free drinks at a bar courtesy of a friend, should be interesting... I'm excited, it should be fun!!! my weight went up to 138.6 today which was strange. I don't feel as light as I did last week... weird... hopefully next week will be better. :) goin to a festival tomorrow, really looking forward to that! gotta boogie! wish I could write more! bye! |

| good morning!
137.4 today :) down .2 from last week! I was hoping to see 136 this week but in my excel I wrote my goal this week as 137, so I'll just stick with that for now :) vicki- I love fires too :) well, the social ones, not like a pyro or anything :P This weekend is supposed to be beautiful!! A preview of fall their saying... in the low 70's :) My friends and I are going to the Feast in Little Italy on Saturday. Should be nice! tami- sounds like a nice day! get out there and enjoy it! :) and congrats on the 137.4!! brianne- yeah, I've been thinking about it for a long time and since I don't have time/$$ for the gym and I can't find a cardio dvd that I like, I figured this would do the trick :) then, if I like it when I get out of school I could get a lot nicer one if necessary. So, it's kind of like a little preview for me. Good luck in court!! brianne/brigitte- stay safe with that wind/storm you are experiencing! gotta boogie! |

| vicki- no camping this past weekend :( we had to go to a birthday party for my friend's 3 year old. We went to South Chagrin Reservation though for some hiking. That was a lot of fun!!! I loved it b/c the trails were kinda small and seemed like you were really exploring.. not a lot of traffic till we got closer to picnic areas. We're going to try and go back this weekend. I do have a big canoe trip coming up in 3 weeks!! All labor day weekend we're going to be canoeing down some river... not sure which one.. lol. I guess I only have a few to choose from, I'll find out and report back later :) Someone I work with is doing the 3 day thing too! She did a few fundraisers here that I donated to. She had a bake sale one day with hot dogs and I got one :P
brigitte- that is so awesome!! congrats on you being back in the 120's!!!! tina- I'm sure you've got some water weight... it'll move back down! take it easy on the workouts till your ready, just work on recovery and do some light stuff :) I gained what looked like 6lbs after my camping trip but was actually a solid 3... totally sucked, but I'm below my precamping weight now! :) I think the smell of fall is my favorite.. and the cool breeze... aaaaahhhhhhh... lol. Plus, campfires are more appreciated b/c it's actually cold! :) thanks for all the comments on my weight goin down :) I think what really moved my loss into high gear is the weight lifting... It's totally working! I'm getting the toned look I want and still losing weight! I hope I didn't just jinx myself... lol. But I've been moving down a little every week for this whole month! yippee!!! |

brianne- I do the exact same thing- eating just b/c something tastes good!!! It drives me nuts! What has helped me a little bit is now I only take a small portion and walk away from the food. Since I am usually tempted at other people's places I steer clear after I've had a decent portion. I read somewhere what helped some people is remembering that nothing tastes as good as looking good feels. :) so I try to keep that in mind as well! tami- you'd better not disapper! Even though I don't reply to a lot of your posts, it's mostly b/c you write so much and I don't have time to reply, but I do read and keep in mind what you say :) we all have bad weekends, it's life! It's one long journey and so what if you hit a little bump in the road, just get back on track! :) brigitte- racing would be fun! unfortunately I have absolutely no advice I could give, sorry! :) sorry to hear about the cha cha's we got goin on around here! Hope you see lower numbers tomorrow! about me today- 138 this morning which is lower than last Tuesday's weight, hooray! I'm really determined to get to 135 and may even go for 133 so I'm 135 on Mondays :P I'm going to get the NordicTrack this Thursday. Looking forward to it and getting a service plan just in case. Super stoked! Mornings are starting to get chilly so I don't think riding in September is going to happen... we'll see... randomly thought of this... I love fall!!! It's right around the corner! The breeze, the smell, the colors, definitely my FAVORITE season!! :) hooray! hoping to get some camping in for fall as well... we'll see... keep on truckin everyone! you're doing fantastic!!!! |

brigitte- yay on going down more! so, is this weird? one day a week I get super ravenous and could eat just about anything... I still manage to stay around 1500 calories (trying for 1300) and it doesn't usually affect my loss... but is that strange or what?? today I had a piece of toast for breakfast and a bag of chips for lunch... 2 things I never want/have/crave... isn't that weird?? last week I went a little over one day with handfuls of cheerios and a quaker cinnamon rice cake snack... at least these are mostly things that I don't have around in the first place so I'm kinda just getting them out of my face forever. or else they are the healthy things I do have on hand... but it's just so not like me! lol... |

I've hit 137 these past 2 days and am STOKED!!! I'm really happy with they way I'm looking and think 135 is going to be my #. I just need to keep up the good work when I get there :P Nothing else exciting... A pair of capris I haven't worn in a few weeks are a little loose... yay! Weekend should be fun... Mountain biking Sunday, woohoo! sounds like everyone is doing great!!! keep up the fantastic work all!! |

CONGRATS VICKI!!! awesome job! enjoy your weekend away and good luck with the house! tami- I agree, with the internet. I got "scolded" a few times but I still get my work done... oh well... that's life... awesome job at the amusement park!!! ice cream is a tough thing to overcome! tina- chill :) it'll go back down soon! just keep on truckin, you'll see good things! it took me almost a month to lose my camping weight... but, I lost it :) you are doing great!! joan- what a bummer about work. I wouldn't be surprised if they did the same thing here.... glad to hear your bladder is being more cooperative :) brigitte- pizza is the devil! but so yummy! I had pizza Sunday and the weight went up a little... but you'll be back down in no time :) 138.6 today... :) I think I'm going to be in the 138's for a while and I'm happy about that. I've been doing pretty well keeping to about 1300 calories a day or getting a 500 calorie deficit every day... seems to be working! rode my bike to work today, s'posed to be 90* so it'll be a hot ride home! hoping to be camping this weekend... I'm hoping to be moving a lot this weekend... fishing Saturday afternoon, night hike Saturday nike, bike ride Sunday.... we'll see what happens :) brigitte- thanks for the note :) Right now I'm looking at nordic tracks. I found one I like for about $600 and am going to check it out soon. Probably don't need it for a month or so, so I'm in no rush. gotta boogie! I'll try to pop in later! :) |

| jem- yum! I'll have to look for that! is it organic or anything? or should it be in the bread isle? we have a separate section with all of the oranic stuff in it. thanks for the note! I think for now an elliptical would benefit me b/c I can't afford the gym nor do I have time and the only thing I liked was the elliptical, lol... and once it gets cold I still need some cardio! and I can't find a cardio dvd I like anywhere... protein- turkey, tuna, some sort of meat, yogurt, kashi cereal. I don't think I'm getting enough though... bah... I have turkey almost every day, if not turkey then peanut butter. And I put crab or tuna on my dinner salads.
vicki- yes, that is a great cha cha to be going through! that is awesome that switching your workouts worked so well for you! Not sure where we are camping... maybe Punderson? but we want to go fishing and we never catch much out there... we just throw them back but it isn't much fun to fish where there are no fish :) |

| hey strangers!!
I only read this one page b/c I can't imagine all the catching up I'd be doing if I went back farther :) cheat days- I usually don't "plan" a cheat day... But somewhere on the weekends a cheat meal just sorta happens. Last Saturday it was at my b/f's grandma's house for a huge italian meal. This past Sunday was pizza at my parent's house. It doesn't usually affect my weight loss too much... I think this weekend we're FINALLY going to go camping! hot dogs! woohoo! Good thing I have my fat free ones :P vacation weight- honestly, I gained real weight on my camping trip. However, I know I went WAY over my calories. Try about a 1/2 loaf of banana bread?? yeah... that didn't help.. lol. When I got back the scale said about 6 pounds... but after a few days I realized I did gain about 2. But... 2 months later and I'm below my precamping weight... one thing about doing this is remembering that this is a lifestyle change. Stuff happens.. you can't let it get you down, just gotta keep truckin and stay healthy!! meals- looks like meal postings are going on so I'll add mine :) breakfast- whole grain cereal w/a banana and vanilla soymilk, snack #1- fruit, snack #2- lowfat yogurt, lunch- sandwich on whole grain bread and about 1c. of veggies. also a light string cheese, snack #3- veggies (right now baby carrots) dinner- salads or on bike riding days maybe whole wheat pasta. snack #4- fruit... so, I'm a big snacker :) It works for me and I usually have smaller meals. When I'm more active (weekends) I tend to eat a little more but nothing that completely derails me... I love working out too :P brigitte- enjoy that cupcake!!! enjoy your cheat day as a whole! glad your weight is going down after the vacation! brianne- awesome job at 135! did you finally buy a scale? I didn't read back that far to find out ;) jem- that is really great about all those inches you've lost!! keep up the great work!! I gotta boogie! vicki- glad the weight is down a little :) (didn't you say that?) and yes, the computer is quite annoying.. I can't read the posts again!! tina- yes! finally!! I got in 2 upper body workouts and 2 lower body workouts this week! I am walking to the market tomorrow and *hopefully* hiking Sunday. hooray! no Giant Eagles over there? Must be an eastern thing :) jem- sweets KILL me! Since I've mostly cut them from my diet it's been easier to not eat them... except peanut butter cookies.. that's a big weakness :) but, be proud! my b/f's grandma gave us SEVEN after dinner Saturday and I've only had 3, only one a day over 3 days :) and I fit them in my calories! today my dad bought us pb cookies for lunch and they were huge! I split one with my dad though :) mi-nyan- good job turning down that food! it gets easier as you go, I promise! boo hiss.. break is over and I can't read anymore... sorry if I missed anyone! talk to you all later!!! I did good yesterday! Got my upper body in at night and then did lower body this morning. Swelling on the foot is finally going down! tina- self control is a big problem with me! whenever I find myself endlessly munching on something I vow never to buy it again! (well, till I can handle it :) ) like the all bran crackers? had to stop buying them b/c I couldn't stop eating them!! tami- popcorn isn't sooooooo bad :) and you'll work it all off with your big workout! welcome mi-nyan! awesome day yesterday!!! it is really helpful to get support from people going through the same thing! it's helped me a lot!! can't read the rest, gotta go to work! tina- I get Giant Eagle brand bread. 100% whole wheat with added calcium. brigitte- just give it time :) you'll be down again soon! jem- I left you (and brigitte) a note in journals I wrote in my journal... had an unfortunate encounter with lay's potato chips last night. I could not stop eating them!!! And after going so long without having chips... ah well... it's in the past and they were good. Bad day yesterday, new day today :) I actually never even have them in my apartment.. but someone gave them to me... THOSE JERKS!! hee hee... need to work on willpower I suppose ;) I'll try to post more tomorrow. I miss you guys! :) |

| hot dog is delicious :) I figured the calories at 325. Yes, a lot but I'm actually saving a few b/c I would have had pb&j which is 340... stupid bread is really messing up my counts :P
joan- that bread sounds good! but it also sounds expensive.. usually the bread that is good for you is almost $3.50 a loaf whereas my bread is still not bad and $1.89 (?) a loaf :) glad the trendline is going down! vicki- yeah, I think the last time I had a hot dog was last month and that one was a fat free kind :) |

| good morning!
I only have time for a quick post. Weighed in after breakfast this morning and was 139.4. I was kinda scared of the scale after the weekend so I'm going to get an official weigh in on Friday I think.. not logging it b/c of time constraints but I am keeping track of my deficits in an excel workbook. :) I didn't get a workout in this morning b/c I was pretty tired. Gotta get back into the daily workout routine. Tomorrow I'm going to do upper body and either bike ride or do lower body on Friday. We'll see what the weather is going to do and how I'm feeling. I want to go mountain biking this weekend... we'll see... Oh, I'm getting a hot dog for lunch today for a fundraiser and I'm going to guess the calorie count is about 300. Does that sounds reasonable? I figured about 150 for the bun, 150 for the dog? I can go sneak and find out the count on the buns... lol. I think I will... hee hee.. the buns are in the conference room... tina- It's great! just make sure you double check the label. I swear I grabbed the same bread but I'm not sure if they changed the ingredients or what.... I'll have to look into it more when I go back to get groceries. I love bbq's!!! :) lmao joan... :P brianne- sorry the weekend was a bust. that's no fun. I'm sure your weight will be back down soon :) welcome newbies! :) can't read anything else due to a slow computer and I can't remember anything either. :) gotta boogie! talk to you all later!! |
