Foods I definitely like a lot: apples,oranges,watermelon,chocolate chips cookies,oreos. muffins, pancakes, cottage cheese, greek yogurt, honey, rice pudding, shredded wheat cereal, sweet cereals, pasta all kinds, salmon, shrimp, chocolate, ice cream especially with cookies, coffee, strawberries, cherries, peaches, kefir, apple cakes, cereal bars, granola, scones, polish pastries, piergos, veggie sandwiches, cheesecake, poppyseed anything, bagel
Foods that aren't my favorites, but I quite like:
bananas, oatmeal, fruit yogurt, pineapple, mango, sushi, pizza, french fires, doughnuts, candy, loly pops, pretzals, snack foods, lobster, rice, cous cous, soy milk, pear

| I appreaciate the advice...Im sorry if I sound stupid,but im just confused. WHen I took my blood test it didnt show up as anything wrong. I took it 2 months ago when I went to the ER.I wanted to get the heart checked out. And they told me I have bradycardia. |

| Ya Im not healthy because ive been suffering from anorexia for 8yrs now. I get dizzy, hot, and my heart pounds especially in the morning. Last time I got my bp read it was that low. Usually my lower number gets very low. | |||

| matural Peanut Butter SOory I dont eat it. Granola or Protein Bars Kashi brand has great bars! Oatmeal (Steel Cut?) Quaker old fashioned are very good as well as the Irish brand but their more expensive Yogurt (Vanilla)I eat plain yogurt by FAGE its greek yogurt.Sometimes I eat dannon plain and danon fit and light...love their vanilla flavor Cottage Cheese Frendship is the best! Cereal (with fiber ... something to FILL me up)Post shredded wheat fills me up.Try it with hot milk as well! |

| Hi Coachdee! YOure great!! I have a question. Im 22 5"7 and I weigh 112lbs. I have been suffering from Anorexia for 8yrs and Im still not recovered although Im doing a lot better. Right now Im working at my fathers cafe From 12pm till 10pm. Im on my feet all day..walking alot,lifting, and running all over the place. Sometimes I have to eat lunch at 4pm because were short on people when its busy. Heres what I eat and at what time. 7:45am 1 80 cal greek yogurt natural 2 slices challah bread with some cottage cheese and s/f jelly half a glass of plain kefir 12pm coffee black 4pm lunch plain salad of lettuce and orange pieces 1 apple *i dont have a big appetite at lunch snack 7pm banana light dinner 12am 60 cal fit yogurt healthy harvest oatmeal with organic skim milk I eat very litte for dinner because by the time we close and clean the place its very very late. I dont have an appetite anymore because of my irregular eating. am I eating ok or too little? im still cofused.... thank you |

| sasha: I just read your post from a long time ago talking about your blood pressure being too low and not being able to travel. How low was it? Im asking because I have low bp as well. Im trying to recover from anorexia. Im 5"7 and 113lbs. Im feeling like crap more and more now. I get headaches everyday,my legs are bruised all over,i blackout and get dizzy,im tired all the time,no periods for 6yrs,and I feel my heart pound fast. today my bp was 80/69 sometimes its even lower. any advice ladies. |

| Im not sure how much cals I eat but Im sure I eat very little under 800 cals each day.I do have health problems and I am anorexic but I do drop weight fast so I dont understand this starvation mode thing. I know what Im doing is bad but Im sick. I dont even know what a normal meal looks like. |

| no the first doctor said it might be from alot of things but the blood test came out normal...now I went to a second doc and I have to take another blood test so he didnt tell me anything yet about my bruising.I will update you thou. | |||

| BPM-im kinda recovering but kinda eating still too little even thou it feels like im eating lots! I did attempt recovery on once and I did gain a lot of weight but I was eating way too much and the hospital I was in didnt know shit about treating EDs. So then I realapsed and I tried eating normally 3 times and of course I gained but because your body is starved and the metabolism is slowed so you know. |

Gosh Im really sorry for my posts. Maybe their stupid but I wanted others people insights. No Im not trying to be an attention seeker, and Im sorry if it seems that way. Im happy again for the responses and I will go to the docs. Oh and yes when I did go for the blackouts the doctor did tell me something about being dehydrated but of course I dont remember if I told them about my eating problems, but maybe it was a bad doctor as well?? Im gonna go and get a blood test on Friday,and Ill see the doctor about my blackouts probabbly on friday as well. Ill update |

| Wow I dont know what to say except I am moved by all the replys. Yes I want to be a mom someday and whoever made that comment with the :do it for the men!: Youre totally right. There are not a lot of guys who would say that. But anyway I guess the reason why I didnt seek help for not having periods because Im still in the anorexia mode and I know if I seek help I would be put on pills or I would have to gain more weight than I want too. I am going to go to the doctors. YOu know I dont understand why I fell ill to anorexia. I believe things happen for a reason and I dont know what this reason is yet. I hope that my fertillity will be saved thou because I love kids and it would be awesome to have them but if not then I cant blame anyone and would have to adopt. I cant believe what women do to themselves sometimes. I mean because of this anorexia I have low blood pressure, I blackout, no periods, bad circulation,thinking and obsessing about food 24/7, no social life because that leads to food usually. Im trying to recover on my own because I cant afford treatment and I dont have insurance. Im doing ok but I know that my mealplan is not a normal one because its usually fruit heavy. I weigh myself and it says im 114lb-112lbs and I dont believe the scale to tell you the truth. I feel heavier and I think I look heavier. Sorry this post is long but there are some great women there that care and that makes me feel good. thank you |

Thank you very much for the replys. The thing is I suffered from anorexia for 6yrs, and Im still kinda suffering. Im not as bad as I used to be. I used eat once a day! SO I did improve. I choose not to eat meat because I dont want too. I do like fish but I dont eat that all the time. I guess im still scared of a lot of foods but I feel like I gain weight very fast if I try to eat more than 1000 cals. Any ED suffers who overcame their fear? Who eat normally and maintain their weight? |
