Thank you all :o) It definitely feels great... I have worked my butt off these last 8 months! I'm actually glad it has taken me this long because I know I have done it the healthy way and that the weight will STAY OFF!

Through my "journey" of losing 34 lbs I have learned that this is a LIFESTYLE and not just a "DIET" and I will never again reach 173 lbs again! I love having energy and I have learned to love healthy foods just as much as I USED to love the bad foods. I have actually lost all desire for the bad foods which is great :o)

Anyway, keep up the great work everyone!

-I don't eat fast food
-I cut out most bad foods
-I eat a lot of protein
-I eat a lot of veggies
-I eat a lot of fruits
-AND I WORK OUT!

...I'm not a lazy bum anymore and I live a fairly active life now!

age: 19, 20 on Aug 27th (my goal date!)
height: 5'4"
date started CC: Feb 13, 07
starting weight: 173!! :-(
current weight: 147 :-)
goal weight: 135 for my birthday.. then I will go from there to see how I look/feel. My overall goal will probably be 130

daily caloric intake: 1300-1600
exercise: 5 or 6 days a week for ATLEAST an hour... lots of running/walking/elliptical machine, and weight training... I also have this little stepper machine at home that is great!

notes for friends: just keep up the good work! realize that the RIGHT WAY to lose weight is going to take a while... but that also means that it will STAY OFF! :-)
