Hi all!! It has been months since I have been on hear, just happen to click on by mistake this morning and thought why not see what is going on. I see some of the older group on here still. As for me, not doing to bad. Managed to gain about 10 pounds back, but back on track to losing, have lost 6 pounds in the last two months due to joining the local Jazzercise, and I love it. 60 minute works outs - cardio and weight training together. I can pick the day and time I want to go, they have about 5 classes each day other than Sunday. So when not playing soccer I am at Jazzercise. I am going to be a grandma too!!!! My stepdaughter is due in November and my own daughter is due in February. So looking forward to this. Alittle bit of drama this past week with my daughter, she is a first grade teacher and one of her students has come down with the swine flu. So she is on leave until she can get the shot per doctor and the principle of her school. It is has been a tough week for me, trying to stay and strong and not let her know how worried/afraid I am, but on the other hand my thoughts are running with negative thoughts. I will try to be more active on here again, you guys were always great to talk too and such support.

good morning all!!! from lovely snowy OHio!!!!! will winter ever go away! weight is slowly but surely dropping again, back to working out. Broke down and bought the WII and the WII FIT a couple of weeks ago. Not a strenous workout, but it gets me motivated. Hubby is a big help here as we are competeing against each other. We also started dance lessons, once a week and then soccer another day. So moving again has made the difference as well as eating habits. Also work is having a weight loss challenge for the person to lose the most percentage of weight. So kicks in the butt all the way around. hope all is going well with everyone!

HELLO!! alright two days of eating right and today is heading in the right direction so far. Now if I could just get my butt motivated to workout - then I would be good. Didn't have a workout last night, due to starting ballroom dance lessons with my hubby last night, guess that could be counted as we "danced" HA for an hour, at least wasn't sitting on my butt. Tonight is indoor soccer, as it is freezing here - so a fun workout, tomorrow possibly heading to the local school, they open the gym up for walk/jogging for free. lets see if I get motivated enough

hello!!! Sorry for the missing in action lately, deadlines at work and tired at night and no desire to turn the computer on at home, and family in from out of town for two weeks, so basically holiday and work stressed. But a new year and things have quieted down before the "tax season" begins.... I have gain about 15 of the 25 pounds I had lost in the last year, and pissed at myself. Starting tomorrow, I am back to eating right and exercising (no matter what). I need to do this, I felt so much better when I lost the weight.

popping in quickly, to say hi. Stacey - come on join us at the wineries. It is a good time and you get to try all the Ohio wines. I think there is another in December for the whole state you just pick which trail you want to do. Someone asked - my favorite wine is Reisling, not to sweet or dry. Weight has dropped a bit finally, back to working out and watching what I eat. I feel so much better physically now that I am back on track. I felt tired and out of sorts for a while now. Just had to push myself and find time. I have been working 60 hours weeks for the last 4 week and getting stressed. I had a trainer one time, but it got so expensive. I just need to remember what she told me and focus!!!!! talk later, gotta run to soccer! |

hmmm..... good idea walking the trails, but I would have only made to two at most (mostly due to drinking) HA HA!!! the wineries were an average of an hour apart from each other, but we had all Saturday to enjoy. It was a nice get away, we ended up about 4 hours from home so spent the night in southern Ohio. got my working out in before dinner tonight, its been a week straight now, hopefully back in the groove. Did manage to drop 1 whole pound WWWWOOooOHHHHOOOO |

Yes you can call me "COOP", the guys in the office call me that. Dropped 1.2 pounds last week, back on the exercise band wagon (hubby started exercising agian with me) and back to soccer. Had a couple of weeks off between seasons (outdoor to indoor), but back to it and loving it. I forgot how much I miss playing at times. Weekend wasn't too too bad. Hubby and I signed up for a wine trail event for Saturday, hit 5 wineries in southern ohio. they provided tastes, gifts and food. It was just what I needed, work has been really really stressful, working 60 or more hours the last 3 weeks. |

Hello all!!! wanted to join you also... I have gotten down to 137 around May from 158 a year ago. then vacation hit, then summer hit and back to 145 this morning - not a happy camper. I have gotten away from exercising, as we had bought a house last year, and we seemed to be working on it day and night, then we built a two level deck on the house. I need a kick in the butt!!!!! |

I have been walking during my lunch hour and doing a quick abs work out in the morning. gotta run, thought this might help some of you.

another MIA popping in..... sorry Weight has been from 135 - 137, down from the 140 after vacation to London, then another weekend trip to PA for our anniversary. We have been working like dogs at home, rebuilding the old deck and adding a lower deck to it.. Not much exercising getting done, other than soccer twice a week (thank god for it). I finally started back to a short AB routine Monday, and then decided to start walking during my lunch hour, hope this will get me back to a routine. Like Bridgette said " hi to all the newbies!!" |

morning all!! Joan - you sound in a much better mood since going to NC and glad you like the job (hope it turns to long term). Srogers - it takes time, and definitely rest if you are sore well the golfing was alot of fun, we laughed alot. give my husband alot of credit he sure has patience considering I had never played golf before other than putt - putt. We won't even talk score, lets just say we didn't count the whiffs and the times I hit the ground. Weight was down .5 this morning, not much but something..... on track and moving down again.

good morning!! feeling alittle better today, dropped to 135.6 from the 137 yesterday morning - must have been the shrimp stir fry from the night before. I walked briskly and carried 5 lb weights for over 45 minutes last night too. Ok, hopefully back on track. No exercise this morning, but suppose to go golfing with my husband tonight. This should be real interesting, I have never golfed before, we have been going to the driving range - will report tomorrow |

hello everyone, sorry for missing in action for so long. Tax season seemed to never end, then right into trying to get some audit work done before I took vacation. I have been reading all along just never posted, I haven't kept track of calories or exercise for a month now. But still managing around 132-134 on any given day. Did gain alittle while on vacation, but who could resist cheating a little bit. We went to London, England..... we had a great vacation, but back to reality now. We have been working our butts off on the house, the inside is done for now - outside is our next project....... UGH!!!!!! |

Hello strangers!!! I have been missing in action for well over a month now, between "tax season" and house stuff - just no time or energy to even think about being on the computer. I have the maintenance down pat, I have been flunctating between 131-133 for quite awhile now. I joined a pilate/stability ball class twice a week with an old friend, not strenuous but low impact for and hour twice a week, so mixed with soccer twice a week I am doing good.

Hello all!!!! I am alive and well and Joan was correct in the midest of "TAX SEASON"!!! long hours and stressed, so when I get home I just want to chill. We are also still working on the house, one room to go and that is the kitchen. We plan on tearing it out in about 5 years, but the cabinets need to be dealt with now, they are this horrible yellow - we are going to "crackle" paint them. Seems like every weekend this house has us. oh well........ My weight has been holding steady at 131-132 for well over two months now, I have only the exercise from soccer twice a week. But I assume the painting, stripping and house stuff makes up for the missed exercise. I finally got around to reading everyone's post, just too tired to respond and gotta leave for soccer here in a bit.

Hello all!!! quick checking in - had my official weight and body fat tested last night. dropped 2 lbs in 3 weeks and another 2% of body fat down to 131 and 22% body fat. the cross fit class has really kick started me to get back to exercising again. Cassie - I have the same sleeping problem, but I attribute mine to menopause (actual mental-pause), had been taking some medication, but hate to do that all the time. Joan - sorry about the job. Sorry for those that I missed, but TAX SEASON and no time to talk. See ya later! |

Hello All!!! It has been ages since I have posted in here. I look often and read pretty much everything, just don't have the time and we moved our computer to another room, so not real convenient to use. Use to be in the same room as the TV, but now we have a dedicated room for the office in the new house, hate to spend hours in there. Sounds like everyone is having their ups and downs, and exercising well. I am doing good, down to 131-132, fluncates every day as you know from your own experiences. I am happy with the weight, would like to be 129 but you know what I feel good and look not to bad. I will be 50 in September, I don't need to look like a teenager. I have been great at maintaining. This past year has taught hubby and I how to eat correctly and wisely. Still working on the house, painting accent walls and getting new furniture and stuff. Next project is the kitchen, we want to eventually remove a wall and replace all the cabinets, but that is five years or more down the road, other things we want first. So we are just going to paint the cabinets (crackled) I think its called and try to re-surface the counter tops. Low budget for now, just to fix it up a bit. Want to add a new deck on come spring time too. Well gotta run, off to Cross fit class. I signed up for a month to give myself a jump start back into the routine of exercising again everyday. Eveyone be good!!!

hello all!!! Happy new year! Not good news here, husband and I both got food poisoning from something we ate on Sunday, seems it was chicken. Needless to say, we spent the day in bed/bathroom on Monday and Tuesday wasn't much better. Just for kicks, weighed myself this morning down to 129, great number not a good way to go though. I am totally sapped of energy and just want to sit. I get lightheaded when I move to fast. I did sign up for "Cross Fit" which was to start to night, but I don't see myself going until at least Monday. sorry to be such a downer! talk later. |

hello all!!! Hope everyone had a good Christmas! My weight is not too bad after the last week, between holidays, weddings and my stepson home on leave from the Navy, I was at 133.8 this morning. I have been really good about exercising again, ellitpical for about 10-15 minutes, then a turbo jam or Slim in Six DVD for roughly 30 minutes or more. I think that has made the difference. Also the eating habits have been great, I do believe I finally have it down. I am also not one to binge on chips or snacks, I pretty much will sit down and eat one of the 100 calories packages and I am good, don't have to continue. The alcohol is my down fall, of course. So after the holidays, back to the occasional glass of wine. I have also signed up for a "Crossfit" class starting January 3, just the give me a kick again. I did this last year and it kicked my ass. Kinda of expensive, $199 for a month (personal trainer),its a pass to use any day, two classes, so I have a choice of day and time and can go as many times as I want for that month. I maybe back to getting on here more often, will wait to see how work goes, tax time is around the corner. |

Hello All!!!! Just popping in now and then, to see what is up. Colleen, I have seen that before and crack up everytime I see it. I no longer have the TTOM, but dealing with hot flashes lately. Its awful, one minute freezing, next stripping, I am driving my husband crazy Hope all are doing well, noticed some are struggling though. Me, I am doing good. Holding strong at 132-133, amazing considering no exercise other than soccer three times a week. We baked like 12 dozen cookies on Saturday, have had one or two here and there, but otherwise good. It finally has sunk in the eating change. Or as we say life change, I don't have the binge eating or eating the whole bag of chips or whatever anymore. An occasional night time snack, but more often than not - we have nothing other than maybe a hot cup of green tea. We do have snacks, but have learned moderation finally. Gotta run, suppose to be working!!!!!

Hey all, I am alive!!! work has been awful, I put in over 75 hours between Sunday and Friday. so exhausted by the time I got home at night and no desire to sit in front of a computer monitor. Slowed down somewhat, and will have more time. No time at home either with painting, hanging pictures, stripping paint and so on and so forth. Eating has been good, I am still hanging at 132-133 (been there for a month now). No real exercise program going on right now, I did sign up for a crossfit class in January - to get me motivated again. Playing soccer 3 nights a week, 2 co-ed teams and 1 women's league, so I guess I am getting some exercise there, LOL. Hope everyone is doing good and staying healthy. Popping in at lunch, while shopping on line for Xmas

Good afternoon all!!! quiet in here..... I also was good thanksgiving. We had pancakes for breakfast, then went to my in law's for late lunch (did not stuff myself) and ate healthy. So weight was the same from the day before. YEAH!!! What was so strange as it wasn't hard at all to make the right choices, we really have changed the way we view our food and health. Carrie - I was with you at 4:00 am, we were out and shopping. We got home about 11:30, stopped and had breakfast on the way back home. Got some good bargains. Hubby actually went on line yesterday morning and was able to get everything on line (at the sale prices) he wanted to get this morning, so we didn't shop as much as the years before or as early (thank god), it was freezing here. Brought work home with the 30th deadline looming, needed to get some extra work done. Everyone have a good weekend! |

Unfortunately or fortunate, I'm not sure.... taking work home for the weekend, good thing is its overtime pay. Which will come in handy with the holidays and housing stuff. tonight is co-ed soccer, so another good night of running around. I was all good this morning, down 132.2 but expected after soccer last, which by the way I SCORED A GOAL (and no not for the other team - I have been known to do that) I usually play defense but was a forward last night. hey everyone!!! my free evening, hubby has his youngest daughter on Wednesday evening and they go and do stuff just the two of them, so here I am wasting time til I have to leave for soccer around 7:30 or so. not much going on here as most of you know, working and home stuff. I still manage to get to soccer though twice a week, and was asked to play on Saturday's on another co-ed team. So soccer Wed/Fri/Sat good exercise and soooooo much fun. Weight still steady, was 133.2 this morning. Not bad considering yesterday was a bad lunch day, had like 800 calories. We ordered lunch and I had ordered a tortilla sub - well they don't have them anymore, so the girl who ordered just got me a regular sub UGH!!!!!!! Everyone sounds like they are doing great with the exercising and the weight! well going to check out some other things on the internet, talk to you guys soon. PS Bridgette - you sound so happy and relaxed, enjoy hubby!!! |

ok started to type good morning, alittle stressed with work right now, should slow down a bit after Nov 30, deadline for financials for school districts. just popping in quickly, needed a break from work....... weight was133.8 this morning, had a different kind of exercise last night. Hubby and I went to our local rec center for pickup volleyball from 7:00 - 8:45, we had a good time, something different anyway. They offer it every Monday free to residents. He use to play soccer with me, but got hurt and hasn't played in a couple of years, and we missed doing something like this together. again, I read everything, just no time to respond. Everyone have a great evening!!! |
