You  have your hands full!  At times I think that I must be the only mom running around with her head cut off but then I read things like this, and think that my life isn't nearly as hectic.  Just think of the good times ahead (When they are raised and have families of their own--and you can send the grandkids home when they start cryingSmile

I have a 3 1/2 year old, 18 month old, and a 3 month old.  All Boys!  We were trying for a girl but it just didn't happen Frown  I believe the perfect spacing between children is 2 years.  The older kid (or Kids) will be able to help out and also be able to communicate with you.  They also can understand to be gentle with the new one.  The hardest part for me was that my 18 month old is still in the stage of needing LOTS of attention.  He doesn't really grasp the concept that it's not that I don't love him as much but that the baby is very demanding.  I try to give him as much attention as I possibly can, but then I don't want to deprive the baby either.  They were/are really good babies so I can't complain.  You seem to forget home sleep deprived you are in the first couple months and having the old siblings be able to sleep on their own and through the night makes it a lot easier.
