| Happy May Day to all you out there!!!! It was an extremely yucky day out yesterday, I was stuck in a hail storm on my way to the store, thankfully not auto damage!!!! But today is beautiful!! I remember being in elementry school and having to make May Day baskets out of lil milk containers and decorateing them, sticking some candy in and then having to bring it home and put it on the door step a person I really thought was special. Which was my neighbors mom ( she is still a wonderful person) she had all boys and just adored the lil neighbor girls. Anyways we had to knock then run. She always knew it was me : ) Man kids just don't do that stuff anymore : ( Does anyone else remember doing something special on May Day? I have really lacked in the excersize and diet department. Since my last TOM 2 weeks ago I just gave up. Yesterday did good on the calories but really not major work out, just daily living of a sahm. lil extra calories burned doing a bit more house work (taking summer clothes out and putting winter clothes away) but that is it,I need a kick in the butt or something or I will lose the drive all together. No weight loss but no weight gain either. I wish you all a beautiful 1st day of May |

| Weight Loss | What size do you dream about! | Apr 25 2007 18:17 (UTC) |

| I would be happy at a size 10 BUT I dream about an 8!!! I was an 8 after my 2nd child and I was healthy and fit and looked damn good. I would like to feel comfortable in a decent pair of shorts where when I walk they don't ride up in the crotch area, and put on a decent dress and have it fit in all the right places. I would like to smile and not see my cheeks!!!! now that would be a bonus | |||

| Good afternoon everyone!!!!! It is bright warm and sun shining here in central Wisconsin. A beautiful day to be busy and of coarse thats what I am AGAIN today. I wish I could sit home and relax and maybe some house cleaning and clothes on the line. Now that sounds sooo relaxing!! But nope not here, Vet appt for the dog to be fixed have to run erronds (shopping) drop bb off at hubby work. pick up the a older one and a few of his cub scout buddies ( I am a den leader) We get to head to the humane society to do our good deed in the community to finish up with our citizens badge. Then we all get to head to the local park and pick up trash and play games. After all that I get to walk the school track (there is a plus side to all this) while I wait for my olderst to get done with track practice and b-ball practice. I should make it home by about 9:00 tonight, then homework, bathes and bed. and yes american idol will be over just like when I got in late last night. At least I keep busy and my mind is off what is for dinner and nibbleing so that is all good. | |||

| I want in on this club as well. I am also 5'5" and currently 213 down from 221. I started cc on Feb 20th and find it to be a great site. I am 34 and married for almost 15 years, we have 4 children 14 down to 4 years old. I am a stay at home mom. Which is when I started packing on the pounds 8 years ago I was a beautiful size 8 now pushing out of an 18!!!! But I down right refuse to go a size bigger so I jumped aboard cc and looking to make a life change myself. I have been closely watching my calorie intake and I purchased an elliptical (WHICH I LOVE) I do fantastic for a few days then I have a day of let downs and then I do great again. I need to steady things out and maintain a constant weight loss. I wish it was that easy. Like right now I should be working out because I skipped breakfast but had a bit more then usual lunch and I feel full and gross. BUT I again have an excuse, the whirlpool service guys is coming to repair my oven and I don't want to be all sweaty and not put together when he finally arrives. I know, I know lame excuse. I was a big time scale watcher and it really depressed me, because I would fluxuate so much fom day to day. Mainly around ovualtion to the end of "that time" So I had hubby put the scale away and I can only read it now after "that time" I will have to go by how my jeans are fitting. But I am looking forward to being part of this club, with people that I can relate to, and are going through what I am. Because it definately is not easy. |

| I'm Czech!!! Well partially, my father's - father's parents or mother for sure. She passed when I was quite young but I do remember her cooking certain recipes what I believe and was told was part of her heritage. When my first child was born my father came to see his first grandchild in the hospital and I remember him sitting there holding her and he busted into tears of joy and pride he started singing some song I had never heard before and was in a diffierent language. He says it is a song his grandma sang to him and his siblings as well as all the great grandchildren that were born before she passed. He doesn't talk about it much but it would be nice to know what he was singing and get copies of the words to put in my childrens baby books |

| Fitness | breast | Apr 10 2007 20:08 (UTC) |

| I hear ya. 34 and 4 kids also. After my 2nd child I was a 40D lost a ton of weight and was in a 34B bra. 2 more kids later and haven't lost the pg weight yet (4 years later) I am trying AGAIN. For me the breasts are the first thing to go!!! I had awesome full breasts 7 weeks ago and now 7 lbs lighter and my bras do not fit me anymore. I don't see any weight loss anywhere else except in my chest, I would much rather see it come off my chin or gut, thighs anywhere but the breasts. I, myself will have to try some of these chest excersises. | |||

| minbin lol that is to funny! I have the most distorted opinion on myself and my weight but my hubbie also says i am perfect the way I am. And I know he loves me so much and does accept me for who I was the lil hottie when we met and the "mom" that I am now. Because I do look like a mom. He was brought up mor old fashion dad brings in the money and does the man things, women does the cooking cleaning caring for children ya know the women things. A men makes a living for his family but a women make living easy and comfortable for her man. I always said BULLS**T to that. I on the other hand was brought up to be more independant and "fend" for yourself life. If you want it you do it yourself. If you don't like it get something you like for yourself. BUT now 15 years later and learned alot since I was 19. Sometime it is just easier to find a middle ground. So I try to keep a good household for the family but if they don't like it they can "fend" for themselves as well |

| Oh I forgot to mention my hubbie has the same issues and mtnrider81. tries and tries to gain at 6'3" and less then 155 lbs he is at his witts end also. So you have tall slender hubbie and short chubby me it is a bit unnerving to have your hubbie weigh less then you. More so in the bedroom if you know what I mean. his matabolism races and mine is barely working. He wants junk food and high calorie and fat and lots of proteins in the house and to be prepared while I am trying to lose weight with watching what I prepare and shop for, I would rather just have soups and salads made every night and I would be a happy camper. So as you can see we have not come to a happy medium as of yet |

Then headed down to Southern WI, currently living in an extremely small town in central WI. Now a country gal I guess. 4) Single/married/divorced/etc? Married 15 years this year 5) Kids? (real or of the fur variety) 4 children thankfully my oldest is a girl the other 3 are typical wonderful boys. I also live for my children they are my world! We also have 2 english springer spaniels that are so adorable. This spring my hubbie wants to get 4 pigs!! Oh my, now that is to much. I'm not sure I want to get that Hick- ish 6) What are you at C-C for? Definately drop the extra lbs from my last 2 pg's. To get my confidence back and to be able to look in the mirror and be proud of myself again. I feel my weight has warped my self image and if I'm not confident and comfortable with myself how can I teach my children to be. Lead by example right? |
