Tommy Gun's was really fun. Its a bar/restaurant that has entertaiment and is set up as a speakeasy. They put on a great show.

oh, yeah and I also wanted to add even though it might sound stupid, but if you drink flavored water does that still count as part of your water intake or does it have to be plain water?

thanks for the advice, that must be it. I haven't been drinking hardly any water lately and wake up dehydrated because all I drink is coffee, but I guess I'll need to be adding water in my diet.

irothell- are you moving to the UP or LP? I'm from the UP and yeah it gets cold. really cold sometimes lol Bring jeans and hoddies, sweaters, hats, mittens. Coming from South California the cold will feel even colder to you so layer up. I wish I could switch you places and be in the Califonia sun.  :)

hey,

I'm 17 and live in Michigan. I am over weight right now, but super motivated. I am a junior in high school and really want to spend my last year of high school healthy and wearing all the cute clothes I never could.

I love to go to the gym. Before it always seemed intimidating, but now I'm addicted and go everyday. I won't be posting a bikini picture until the very end, because I have a long way to go yet.

I've been going to the gym everyday these last two weeks so I hope I can keep that up. I'm doing well on my food intake as well so I feel I'm off to a good start.

ya vodlka is great only 67 cals a shot I think. 5 shots are enough for me and that only adds up to 335, just eat a little lighter each meal that day and those calories should fit in your daily amount.

hi, I'm 16 and want to lose between 40-50 pounds depending how I feel at the time.

she is only eight she is still growing. Ever think she could be just about to grow a few more inches. Kids are fine to be a little "cubby" at that age. Teach her healthy eating habits and do some fun activites with her that is exercise and a fun way to bond, but most of all reassure her that she is beautiful how she is and that everyone doesn't have to be the same. Ruining a childs self esstem is the worst thing you can do.

your right a calorie is just a calorie and you can lose weight that way...but why would you want to?!? Don't you think you could last longer and feel better if you eat healthy all day but saved enough calories for ONE slice after dinner.
