| yup! that's 100 percent vegetarian. most cereals/grains are. if you were planning on going vegan, it would be a different story, because of the honey, but it's fine for a vegetarian :) | |||

| Vegetarian | Vegans eat refined sugars?? What about eggs, are they considered dairy when they dont come from a cow? | Oct 07 2007 04:10 (UTC) |

| veganism is not just about eating; one has to remember the economy! the main reason why i (and a lot of other vegans) don't eat eggs/honey/refined sugars/whatever else crazy companies decide to dump animal products into, is not because of the animal products themselves, but because somebody is profiting off these animals. farmers/food companies are the animals' pimps, basically! | |||
| Weight Loss | How do you know what is your goal or ideal weight - inspired by the GAP thread. | Oct 03 2007 17:21 (UTC) |

store sizing confuses me so much! it's constantly changing; you're right. i do know, however, that a jacob size 29 (and any other brand with high sizes like this) are waist measurements. it's strange. though i wear my jeans on my hips (38") i buy size 32, according to my waist size. and they always fit! in that light, how about you pick a waist/hip measurement for your target? and if you happen to fit into a GAP size 8 instead of 6, you'll know it's just their wacky sizing playing tricks with you |

if it's on your wrist i think you'll be fine! tattoos are quite the addiction, so watch out :P if you're anything like me, soon as you're all bandaged up and leaving the studio, you'll be thinking of what you want next!! |

| Maintaining | do i have a disorder? | Sep 25 2007 05:19 (UTC) |

| well. no. but because you're in the habit right now, there's no loss. if it really bothers you, just try and make a conscious effort NOT to count, and just choose healthy foods | |||
| Maintaining | do i have a disorder? | Sep 25 2007 04:26 (UTC) |

| i think as soon as you stop counting is when you risk overeating. it may seem a little obsessive, but i think it's healthy. otherwise you may end up gaining and having to re-lose the weight you've worked so hard at keeping off! | |||

| yeah, this has totally happened to me too. i think they use a bit of sugar substitute if i'm not mistaken. my body, personally, can't handle the chemicals. | |||

stir fries are also great!! you can use either frozen or fresh (check out local farmers' markets for best quality and often price) veggies, with a low-sodium sauce and a half-cup of basmati rice...delicious! and always under 300 cal. with produce, remember to buy only what you need. esp if you're like me and forget what you bought in the first place!! otherwise it will go bad and you'll have to buy more. though it may seem like you'll be spending more money on fresh produce when vegan, take into account what you WON'T be buying--meats, dairy, etc. they're way more expensive than, say, broccoli, per pound. take care &good luck! |

| Vegetarian | Why do they think I'm not serious about being vegetarian? | Sep 22 2007 01:38 (UTC) |

| i went vegetarian by age 12, and then vegan (no dairy, honey, meat, other animal products) at 15. i'm 21 now, and i get these same remarks! this is a lifestyle, not some phase. stick with it, no matter what they say! you'll feel great. | |||
