You have posted a lot of topics that are making me think you may have an issue. Please talk to someone before you go down a road of an eating disorder. At 98 pounds, you are very thin & do not need to lose weight. Please seek out advice from a professional.Innocent

Thanks so much for that information! I will do some research on that. I usually don't eat many carbs...just once in a while. Yesterday, I didn't have any grains, just fruit, veggies, protein & some nuts & I lost 2 pounds. It's amazing how I store water weight easily as soon as I eat brown rice or wheat! I experimented by having oat bran organic hot cereal this morning. I cannot wait to see what the scale says tomorrow.

I have the SAME BODY! I think you look great also! With my body (I am 5ft 3, 33 yo & currently 120lbs) I am upset the way I look with acrrying a big but & heavier thighs. The reason why is that about 7-8 years ago, I was only 108-110 ponds. When you do get that low & are a size 0, it is very tough to put on 10 pounds & be happy. I understand that most people on here would be excited to be our weight & feel it's healthy, but everyon'e view of where weight wise they look & feel the best is different. No two people need to think or look the same way.

 I do have thyroid issues now. My doctor feels that it is from constant dieting & taking diet pills years ago. So, be careful that if you do feel you need to be thinner to do it wisely & healthy. I know that being a size 0 at 33 is a bit unrealistic now, and I know way back by restricting so much that I hurt my metabolism. We live & learn.

I found out that I had a thyroid problem. I weigh 120lb 5ft 3. Some people would say I am in "the healthy range", but if I eat anymore than 800-900 calories, I gain because I am hypo. I seriously cannot even lose 1lb even if I go to 500 calories & if I go to 1300, I gain another pound. I am still working with my doctor with the dosage of medicine. I am not an expert, but bloodwork is always a good test for us as we get older. Your family dr can check your levels easily.

I would love to know this answer also! I have a terrible endocrinologist now. I'm looking to switch. She puts everyone who is hypo on synthroid. I also heard good things about armour. Even with synthroid, I am exhausted! I find it hard to lose any weight either. I have cut back calories to 800 even & the sacle won't budge! It's truly hard to push yourself to exercise more too with being hypo. If anyone has had success with another drug, I'd love to hear it!

just a thought...have you had recent bloodwork? I had a tough time losing weigh even though I was dieting & working out like crazy. Turns out I was hypothyroid./

Sleep deprived? Nope..I go to bed between 9:30-10. I have a job that I must leave the house by 7am. I basically grind my teeth at night, so I wake up with headaches a lot.  That's why I find it so hard to wake up early & get it over with. I just read that working out in the morning burns fat 3x as much as the afternoon or evening..I would love to try it!

Sounds like a food intolerance! It could be the fiber content also. Oatmeal makes me bloat & I don't have a wheat intolerance.

Wow, I have been diagnosed with IBS too. I almost feel like this is what they diagnose patients with when they don't have an answer! I am lactose intolerant, and now Friday I am being tested for fructose intolerance. I eat so many vegetables & a lot of fiber-rich foods, and my stomach is always bloated. It has taken over my life & I am always cranky & feel awful. The only thing that does not bother me is brown rice or bland chicken. I am trying Protonix now & also had my thyroid tested...I'll keep you posted if anything works!

Me too..just got engaged March 2, 2007..no date set yet though! I have been stuck at the same weight for over two years. I just had my thyroid checked, so I hope that will be the answer!

I want to join too! I am stuck at 115!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ive been stuck for two darn years! I eat healthy & go to the gym 5 days a week & my body won't vchange at all. I have hit the longest plateau imagineable! I lift weight, I make sure I eat 1100-1200 cals a day! I have no clue what else to do..I've done the low carb Fat Flush, South Beach....evaery time I lose 1-2 pounds, It comes right back in two days! grrrrrrrrrrrrr And my clothes are still tight.

Don't feel bad! I've been stuck at 114 for two whole years! The only way I can lose it is if I don't eat at all for a day..then it still comes back on me to stick at 114.......
