| Hi srd1214...welcome to the group! On weekends (because I'm the same way as you) I keep a water bottle on me...and I cut up fruit and veggies to snack on ...that way if i'm snacking I am at least eating something healthy. I plan my weekend meals on friday so i don't make anything too "un"healthy over the weekends when my husband and 5 yr are home to influence the menu lol. If I am going out I make sure to order a grilled chicken salad or my favorite ....trout vera cruz...I just make sure that I try my best to eat healthy. And everyone slips up now and then...just don't beat yourself up over it...get back to how you know you should eat..but never deprive yourself ...you'll end up overindulging if you do. | Well did my weigh in and didn't gain but didn't lose...hopefully next weigh in will be better...I have uped my water intact....When I went shopping I went bonkers in the fresh fruit and veggie aisle...Had a bad week last week so i'm glad that I didn't gain...This week will be better...Hope ya'll are doing well with the program..

| Good afternoon everyone. I almost at my short term goal...just 4 lbs to go and I've hit it. I'm so excited!! Hope all of you are doing as well...
Kookie I have found that if i give myself a small taste of what I'm craving it'll go away. My dad buys the tiny candy bars and i'll run up to his house and steal the mini and i'm good for my craving...which doesn't through me way off course on my diet. You might want to try this.. Huggx Lucky |

| Hi Everyone, I just graduated to the 190's club. I am so excited. I started CC 2 weeks ago at 205. and am now 199. I'm hoping to keep up my loss at the way it is right now....any where from 2.5 to 3.5 lbs loss per week.

| Hi Everyone. Well so far i'm off to a way better start then I thought. I don't own a scale (I'd drive myself batty if I did) So i only weigh myself on the weekends when i go to my parents house. And I lost 2 1/2 lbs this week...wohoooooo...I gave up soda ...which is hard for me to do....it's my only vice. don't smoke no more (non smoker for 1 year 2 months). Been slowly starting the working out.
RacyRed you can do it. I"m at 202.5 right now and they gave me until june 2 2008 to get to 139. Just try to erase those tapes that keep replaying in you head...Good luck everyone:) We can do it.... Huggs Lucky |

| Hi Everyone,
I am a newcomer. My mom found this site and thought I might like to look into. She was so right! I am 28 y/o. and am weighing in at 205 right now. I love food and i know it...it don't help that i have an underactive thyroid. Not an excuse I know lol. I have tried many diets and never really stuck to anything. I grew up thin...even modeled through high school. Got pregnant at 18 and miscarried and then due to depression, and my fast going thyroid I started to lose weight. I just recently (almost 6 monthes ago) I had my son. I gained weight after having my son, even though I breastfed. I need all the support I can get. I'm nervous about doing this I have done online dieting. Thanks for listening Huggx |

I was skinny all my life until i hit about 23 and got pregnant...had my beautiful daughter and found out that my Thyroid was underactive. Have been fighting that for the last almost 6 years. I'm nervous about all of this since it is new to me. |
