Fitness Starting P90X - New Group: Get Crazy With Me! Apr 04 2009

My weight is within my normal range for 5'1", I am 120-121 lbs but with 4 pregnancies, my gut is sooooo flabby.  I really want to be tone and build my strength.

Anyways, hello.  I have been doing p90x lean for 13 days now.  I have not been seeing results with my weight and size so far but my stamina and ability to do the reps have improved.  I am not gonna quit, i have been reading blogs and watching people in youtube with seeing the results in 60 day.

It's really hard core, you can feel your muscles being worked-out after each sessions.

I am tracking my food in fitday.com which I found useful with the nutrition plan for the 3 phases.  It enables you to customized it, though most of the time I have to create a custom food because most of the food I eat are not on the list.

Good Luck to all of us! And keep the support coming.

&nb sp;   Oh yes...I agree.  After a year of navigating (with my eyes close...exagerating a bit) the CC old site, it's really hard to say GOODBYE.  Well, they say nothing is permanent here in this world except the word CHANGE.  But I am still missing the old site.  There are foods in the old site that are not here...which is kinda frustrating.  Well, I'm hoping for the better.

There's a program on www.coolrunning.com called Couch-to-5K Running plan or go to www.nike.com/europerunning/flash/pdfs/beginne rs-5K.pdf.

You can both check these sites and decide which one would be easier for you to follow.  The also have stretching execises before and after your run to prevent any muscle pain and injury.  But of course, you still have to consult your doctor for any strenous exercises you want to do.

There's another cool site to check if you want to know how far you have run, it's www.mapmyrun.com.  All these sites have so many good advice and pointers if you would like to begin running or walking, I find them very useful.

Good Luck!!!

Oh yeah...tummy tuck is my ultimate choice caused it is where my fats accumulated after having 4 kids.  I weigh 117 now but my waistline is 33 in, same measurement as my co-worker who weighs 180 lbs...now explain that to me?

Anyways,  I'm VERY HAPPY with my loss this week :)

yessicazctcs...thank you for sharing, I really appreciate that.   i'll  definitely stick to at least 30 min a day exercise which I am slacking, too.

And yes, we need suggestions for those losing +2 pounds just like you said...that's why we're in this forum, right.  It should not just be numbers but give motivations for those managing to loose even for just 0.something pounds and push those ones and give support  that are not losing, to try harder.

I'm definitely losing hope...need major motivation and moral support to keep going.  I have been 119 since 1st week of June.  Have been walking at least 30 mins and eating 1200-1500 cals.  And today, I'm completely devastated to see the scale..120.5!

They have said not to rely on the scale, instead feel your clothes, how they fit...but I have not noticed anything different.  There's this khaki jeans that fit me last year, now I can't zip it up even though I'm tucking my belly already. HELP!

You all are doing GREAT!!!...unfortunately, I'm not.  I'm stuck with 119.  I'll try to bump my cardio to 5-6 times a week, coz I was only doing 3 days alternately with weight/strength trainning.  Hopefully I'll see results.

Count me in...need motivation to be consistent with watching what I eat and doing exercise.  I'm doing this basically to lower my blood pressure and eventually tone up/loose excess fat on my hips/belly.  Have 4 kids, and it's soooo hard to loose that belly pouch.  Would like to go down my prepregnant weight and maintain it.

Can I still join-in.  Just started doing CC again, I'm 5'1'' 119 lbs.  Would lke to go back to 110 lbs before I got pregnant with my youngest, he's 4 y/o now.  Did CC last year, from 121 lbs, I got down to 112 lbs, and have gained them back...I'm determined to reach my GW, it wil  be my present for myself before I turned 40y/o 2 years from now.  I also have a high Blood Pressure and have to take 2 kinds of medications to lower it.  If I'll be active I may be able to maintain my BP in a healthy range without medications.
Recipes Tofu? Mar 07 2007

I always used the soft tofu for my fruit shakes:

Rasberry Banana Tofu shake

1 package (12 oz) silken tofu

1 banana

1 c fat free soy milk or skim milk

1 c rasberry

1/4 c frozen orange juice concentrate

Just mix everything in a blender, it makes 4 servings with 150 cal.  You can also used it with your other fruit shake recipes, just replace the 1/2 of your milk with it.  Enjoy!
