sparkle you are too funny. Love your ideas I am on that! My kids are going to go crazy with me typing to stop eating snacks, they are gonna jump right on with me I bet. Silly name since you list cleaning as a busy buster idea! Wish I had the cleaning bug my house could use a little of you! I gotta say I agree with sowhat too. though sometimes eating to eat is just fun! Especially with kids! But yes viki we are here for a purpose and must stick to task! Thanks for the ideas sparkle let you know how I make out with that since my mom just bought the kids 2 halfs of ice cream last night. |

Tiny Dancer- go see your GYN. I checked out many of your other posts and no I don't agree that you have an eating disorder but I do think you want to have a "diagnosis" for your weight gain. Every year you are getting older, your body changes, you are small bet your GYN agrees this can mess with your period mine stopped when I lost 40lbs never came back. I have low BMI/high exercise and all this is playing into it. You are cutting & pasting your eating record on all posts, but your cal intake differs greatly as to how much you take in daily with each post in diff forums. You are visiting Binge sights which again goes back to needing something to talk about. Your weight isn't bad for the small frame you describe and yes even a 5lb gain feels like tons when you aren't used to that weight small frame or not. Clothes fit different and you feel different when you sit. You have referred to your trainer in previous posts, I am sure you have and were told to get a physical if you are so baffled. Any reputable trainer or doc will recommend tests. There is a disgnosis for everything if you look hard enough. Getting the "diagnosis" isn't the end answer, just a hurdle. Figure out how to deal and deal with it, if you are unsure of the diagnosis get a 2nd opinion join a support group (if it is confirmed) Other people of "your size"-- i am sure face the same issue. I am 5 2 and 120lbs avg, very tight and 38years old, you are much younger and no kids stop looking for issues and enjoy life for a little while! If you post expect to get feedback that you don't always agree with. We aren't here to coddle but rather support and suggest. |

I agree with all that is said here and can honestly suggest keeping an eating log with you at all times. Everyone seems to have glossed over your statement of little bits of mac and cheese. At the start of my weight loss I found though I thought I ate very little and very well, I was grazing when cleaning that little mac and cheese finishing the crust of PB& J it was killing my calorie count. BE BRUTALLY honest or it won't work. If you are looking to truly lose the weight it will be hard if you are looking for excuses not to its easy. You can do this, keep records on line and on paper. Consider having someone else get lunch dishes in the sink and rinsed you are less likely to pick on wet food! lol:) Good luck |

| Hope this isn't to late, haven't been on in a while for the same reasons. 1yr ago lost 40lbs. Now I am creeping up. 119 Feb1st now 123 today (pre menopausal though) If you look at my weight chart you will see I went through the same steady loss everyday a bit less sometimes leaps and bounds, then you hit the ledge. Try restarting your metabolism. As you weigh less you burn less calories doing the same things. There is a rule of thumb for this at the Biggest Loser sight, but I don't agree with their weight loss methods. (eating 1050 cal per day isn't good for anyone long term or short) (these numbers will vary depending on your current size weight height & activity. Try taking your intake up to 2000 per day if you are avg weight which I am assuming since you are only trying for 5 more lbs. Adjust if you are heavier. Do this high cal for 2-3 days then drop to 1200-1500per day depending on your intake now. (it should be at least 300-500 lower than your diet intake. Then go back up to about 1600 for 2-3 weeks til you loss the weight. You should be able to increase your calories again as you start to lose again without gaining. Hope this helps. | Gotta agree with marneeddear. I can tell you though, if you do eat the right calories & exercise (not walk, workout, sweat!) I personally would start at 1200 for 5-7 days then go to 1500 for 7 then 1200 for 7 this keeps your metabolism guessing. You will lose the weight at least most of it. I think 5-7lbs is more realistic but 9 is possible. At some point in this 4 weeks you are going to hit your cycle this can stop weight loss temporarily, don't lose faith and eat if you need it. DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF AND DON"T TAKE ANY PILLS. Even the new one that is "approved" has bad bad side effects, the warning now is to not travel far from a toilet while taking it. Please isn't that a laxative. Increase your protein and fiber (blueberries, prunes spinach lettuce whole wheat, strawberries) Make watermelon and apples your #1 snacks. I ate a Breyers Light yogurt (largest quantity and lowest calorie) in the am early with a handful of Special K mixed in for texture, 7 sprunes and coffee with sugar then an apple or watermelon/ walnuts if I was feeling a bit blah for snack a healthy lunch. Salad and 1.2 sandwich with spinach or lettuce and mustard instead of mayo (no calories in mustard) use less of everything instead of changing everything. Add steamed broccoli to every lunch or dinner if you aren't getting full. Eat the veggies 1st then slowly get to the rest of your food and you will find you get full before you finish. Best of luck and you will look wonderful no matter what. Just knowing you can do this will make you glow. FYI I weighed 156lbs in 2/07 I am now 119lbs no pills no gimmicks just hard work. Brigette- I see you are getting to see your husband Best wishes. Hope all went well. Post some pic's if you can. vasa - only stick to 1200 calories for about 7 days max then workout and jump to about 1500 you will start losing steady again and periodically about monthly make this change. It doesn't hurt to throw in a heavy weekend just to enjoy yourself, your metabolism requires it. jem - 1200 cal is real low unless you are real small for 7months. are you loosing or maintaining? Add things high in protein and fiber back in so they are real healthy calories and not fat calories. This will keep your strength up and still allow you to lose. You must be a willpower machine to eat 1200 calories for that long. Well guys I have made it most of the summer and no gain. I am eating and maintaining right around 119lbs. I have lost about 36lbs to date and feel great. Have 2 big family weddings to go to 1 Aug 3 and 1 Sept 15 can't wait no one there has seen me yet except my in laws. We are traveling to Ohio for 1 of them so there is a lot of time before the wedding for some fun. Can't wait. BTW- I did buy and wear a bkini and love it. Then I bought another and another and so on. Have so many bathing suits now I can change every 15 minutes this summer and still wear each 1x. I might need a second job. Oh yeah I would have to show up for the 1st to count as a 2nd. I think my hubbie is going to fire me soon. I keep closing up and going to the shore. What has everyone been up to this summer? Welcome to the newbies and great luck. How are Vicki's heels? | hi all-- everyone seems to be doing real well. Well I met my goal and now set a new one. I am 124 today and splurged on Chinese for hitting 123 last night. I am set to shoot for uner 120 by June 30th. Then maintain all summer. We have been drinking a lot too and it hasn't hurt my weight at all as long as I eat well all day no skimping just healthy. I am totally getting toned and my abs and upper arms are awesome. I thought I would have lots of lose skin, but nada! I will try to post some pic's this weekend of the updated me. I am so excited except I don't know where to find clothes. 4P's are too big in the waist and they don't make size 2P Dockers. Oh-- I live in Docker's clothes. Head to toe. I may just gain a few back if I can't figure this out soon. Never thought I would be complaining about this. I tried the Juniors dept like someone said and it was a disaster. i have 3 kids those clothes won't cut it. We would get thrown out of the club too. I can't afford Macy's clothes and that seems to be where I can find 2P.
Teen -- all work and no play makes Tina a dull girl. Hope your event goes awesome and then you need to enjoy yourself a bit. Sounds like an amazing trip in Aug. hope you post some pic's I am super jealous too. Glad to see your scale moving again. keep a positive attitude and remember it all takes time. Everyone hits plateau's that is why there are so many people to talk to about them. My goal is to run our Broad Street Run next spring (10miles) we'll see since I am just on 3 now. unicat--thanks for the email, I have been fine. Spending time with the kids and getting everyone ready for summer. We spend the summer in LBI so as soon as school ends we are off and all our time is spent on our boat. 136 great weigh in!! Forget the calorie count they are sooo good for you I eat them when I really can't make it another minute whether I can or should. i have never gone up because I ate extra of these fruits. Dont forget the nuts though the calorie count is high they tie you over in small amounts. Keep the watermelon cut up and ice cold and always available. Apples no brainer easy thirst quenching, go great with a big glass of water and prunes I know wierd but my dad and I (god rest his soul) loved eating them as a snack. Guess when I get old that is over. happy hump day all, have the girls art show tonight I get a panzarotti for dinner YEA!!! ( i have to it supports the school) Jersey temps heading into the 95* range friday all humidity oh yuck! |

| Good Morning all just in from my workout and feeling "Puffy" I guess my TOM is rearing too. Explains my lack of motivation this week. Tried shopping for that swimsuit all by myself no kids still couldn't bring myself to put one on. THis has to give. I did so good losing so I could wear a sharp one now can't buy one???@!@
Teen- any luck with those bands? I have read mixed feelings here about them? I just use weights and get my resistance at Curves. Just curious what you think keep me posted. Bliss - Do you eat Tuna Steaks? If so they are great on a diet. So good for you and versatile. Do you have Wegmans near you? Their fish is great already seasoned and makes a quick fix fancy salad sliced up or a quick low cal meal. All nutritional info is avail online on their pre fixed stuff too. Sushi is a good choice as well. Some are as low as 200 cal per 4 pieces which sounds small but when your done your full. Pair that with a nice big salad as dinner. I feel for all of you with TOM thankfully I just get the symtoms nothing else. Early menapause YEH! The weather here in Jersey is not cooperating with our Girl Scout camping trip. It appears I am spending 3 days in a tent with 12 girls and some of their cranky moms. They are all complaining about the rain and begging to cancel the trip. I can't cancel the girls still want to go. I was so hoping to get a little beach exercise in thought it would be cool, but no showers their so not to much. Wish me luck and stay comfy thinking of me. Packing all my veggies and yogurt now. Hope the dinners they provide don't kill my weight but I really want to be part of the group. Chloe- remember to lose weight and keep it off you have to modify your habits. If you like chocol. you have to keep it in your diet in moderation or when you go back to eating it or stop taking that stuff your weight will come back. You can do it on your own. Try setting up a chocolate or sweets date. once per week treat yourself to something real small but sweet and a reg dinner then the next day eat a little lighter. Don't cut it out completely if you crave it. How you CA girls get a break in the weather. Vicky hope you feel better soon. Besides remember girls a new low is still a new low even if you go up. YOu did get there! You will get back. PS Going with a mom that is on a 4mo DETOX diet and has only lost 7lbs. She eats next to nothing and drinks these awful drinks. Sounds so gross. It is so hard to keep me opinion to myself. Have a great weekend Talk to you Monday!! Don't write too much I can never catch back up. |

Unicat you go girl! Don't you feel great? How many honks while you washed? I still can't do it. The bathing suit will stay a tankini I am chickening out. I am wearing tank tops though and that is a switch from my polo's. Just went on line to Victoria Secrets too they have real slim looking clothes. Not sure if I will do that either though. I am very decisive. Girlier- Awesome weigh in. Great job on the workout, just under a month before your vaca if you stick with it you will feel even greater on vaca. Mrranae- I think breaking the 140 steady was the hardest. It was 10 lbs in 10 lbs to go when I got there and almost lost faith. Not sure where you started but don't lose faith allow yourself those special times. If you are serving it you should sample it. Now stick with your plan and you'll see the change. Make mini goals like weighing in each day with an end of week goal. You'll start to see when it is that you are slipping and be able to change it. Reward yourself for meeting each goal not beating yourself up when you don't. I agree with Vicki small changes add in a workout one you really can guarantee you'll do steady. Don't make promises to go daily if you can't, spend 20min at home in the morning like vicki did. srd1214 enjoy the pizza, way to plan ahead so you can enjoy the food without worry. Hope it was super yummy. I did Webers Drive In with the kids and left starved I like your pizza idea better and free at that. Chloe They will notice, don't expect them to say anything. Then the compliments will feel really good. I found some of friends and family gave compliments others said they felt like they were saying " oh good now you aren't overweight" by commenting. Just go knowing you look fabulous and they can't miss it. Lucky more power to you 4:45am YUCK! Good luck you can do it. |

| Good Morning All --haven't been on cc in a while family hogging the computer. I am stoked today! 127.4 2 more lbs to go. I am almost 2 months ahead of my goals. The sales lady at the store told me I would have to try Juniors for my size last week. WOW! Juniors and my goal was size 8 I can't believe it. Still can't bring myself to get a swim suit though. I really wanted to get the itty bitty bikini but I just can't do it. 3 kids and string don't work.
Vicki how are your feet? Anymore problems? Welcome all you new people these guys are great. I don't know how they keep up the perky stuff all the time but they do. Keep coming it will keep you going. Best of Luck with your goals and don't lose faith it does get hard. I am just over 25lbs lost and never thought I would get here. It can happen, but you have to make it happen. Accept that you will fall and should so you don't splurge all at once. Teen- perfect example, hope you enjoyed your cake. Thank god I work at home. I would kill someone for that move on the wrong day. How have you been? Getting ready to leave for Girl scout camping on the beach this weekend. Only 5 pages of posts in about as many days is everyone away? Great job on weigh ins. I haven't been able to get on the internet and really don't have the patience today to read all I missed but did see everyone seemed happy with their #'s. Today it became official for me. I am no longer in the 130/140. I have been down under 130 for 4days now. Today 128.6. Can I still stick with you guys? Who is near me? Are you sticking around? I would rather get here and stay here with this group than find another post. I am stoked about the new me. Still haven't found a bikini, shopping for them makes me nervous and I just leave. Had a golf fundraiser last night and some guy asked me if I was married and another asked how I got such great arms. I almost cried on their shoulder. Funny they looked about 16. Is that cause I am getting older? Still felt really good. Needed to hear it . Hubby still not dishing a single compliment. I told him Saturday I was kind of sad about it and really needed his attention a little now and still nothing I am starting to sweat a little. I have heard some guys like it when you aren't attractive to someone else and get threatened if you are. Could he have gotten comfortable with my weight gain? Any mother's day plans. We are throwing our annual brunch in the yard I will post pictures if the weather is nice. It really is pretty. Teenwolf where are you? Many beers last night at the golf tournie after party. We raised but loads of $ for pancreotic cancer but I think we drank too much beer. Wish I could drink some of the drinks they are talking of today. Naw I am just a beer and pretzel girl at heart I guess. The mashed potatoes were really good too. Darn those Irish city bars. What is on your schedule this week? Any west coast plans? |

Wow everyone painted we did a big clean up at our kids elem school today. Mulch and created a children's garden but no sweating I was hoping for a hot morning so i could sweat some lbs. Didn't work out all weekend and now I am back up to 134.4 I was down to 132.00 this weekend. Ouch! I am bloated anyway this week which hurts my scale, wishing the week away so I can see where I am. Not off to a good start though skipped the gym to clean up after my painters. SOOO much dust I thought painting was a sterile thing. Well glad its done and will get on the ball soon. Goal this week is 45min ellipt mon-Frid (that means I have to work out some time today) YUK! I need to get below 130 this week and have a few dinners out planned at the club this week. This could be tough. But I think I can do it. Vicki- did you get those heal cups? Hope your feeling better. Looks like your getting nice weather this week. Wolfi -- are there Kohl's near you? Prices are better than walmart/target and clothes are wayyyyyy better. I am partial to Docker's and that is their main brand though. Love the Marshall's and Ross for designer clothes at real prices. I love jones NY and Claiborne stuff and they always have it. Fits my size better than other brands. have a good day all!! Lots of girl scout sewing and stuff to do today. Wish it was active stuff I am not in the mood to be locked in the laundry room today. Whoever mentioned hubbi- yes he is the quiet type hasn't thrown compliments around but he knew this was very important to me and has been super helpful and supportive with the gym and food etc. No compliments is just my hang up but I really need them and from HIM!!! I think I will take your advise and talk to him (he hates that) but otherwise I am afraid I will start to resent it. He lost 30lbs and I tell him all the time how good he looks and must feel etc. MEN can't live with them or without them! |

| cmillington-- I checked out your profile you have done amazing things. Don't be discouraged but do try upping your cal intake. Are you still sticking out at 1200-1600? Try a few days at 1800 or 2000 keep up the exercise thing then drop back to 1200-1600 your metabolism has caught up with you. Just spark it up again. I had the hardest times breaking 140 and 130. WEW just broke the 20lbs lost and struggling to 125 but loving my improved self too. GOOD LUCK KEEP IT UP and just try the calorie thing. Wolf where oh where has wolfie been today? CONGRATS LADY you are great. Don't worry about the flucuation, once you get there you will get back there. The point is you saw the scale say it. You are well on your way to that massage aren't you? What was it 135 goal reward. Unicat - have a birthday coming up? My 37 is June 25. Any plans for your big day yet? I will weigh in LOL on the scale thing from Saturday, I weigh myself every time I walk in the bathroom, I even run upstairs to that bathroom just to weigh myself sometimes I even strip down to undies just to see the number go down. And I only count the morning as well. Well unless something else looks better. It works for me and keeps me motivated. I love my scale. 60 days ago I never owned a scale before. Imagine. Now i want a full length mirror in my room. Never had one of those before either. Sorry for the sick child hope tonight is better Morning. Best wishes and remember they love you unconditionally it makes it worth it. But I am glad my last is out of diapers. Still wishing for another so keep up with the poo talk it makes me think clearly. | vicki congrats on your low, go see a dr. Your heels don't just hurt, it isn't like your calves ache after walking. You probably do need better shoes but before you aggravate the problem just get an opinion. IT IS WORTH IT, Just think how hard you have worked if it is a problem and you ignore it you may not be able to exercise at all within a week or so. GOOD LUCK!
Unicat-litter boxes are yucky what about potty training, haven't you seen those cats that go and flush! how great would that be. Good Luck Target /walmart can't stand either. Our walmart is so crowded I won't even enter the store. Target clothes when I wash them even for the kids turn into balls of wrinkled mess or hems come out. Gave up on them long ago. I stink at laundry which doesn't help! I love ROSS and Marshall's. New low today for me too. Couldn't wait to tell someone. I am still keeping my weight loss to myself (just not talking about it) though it is quite obvious now. 133.6 today 132 will be 20lbs. I am buying a bikini (a little tight) this weekend and work hard to get into it. It is just going so slow. The new country club isn't helping. I eat good when I am there the food is just soooo good I eat all of it. The chef uses a lot of sauces so I am going to have to request some lower calorie substitutes. That is the good part, they cook to our request. My hubby has said nothing about the almost 20lbs I lost???? He lost 30 and loves it, anyone else face this? I thought he would be nuts over the new me again. We talk and laugh spend lots of time together alone and with the girls, everything seems great, but not a single word about how I look. Getting sad now. It is hard and I want a pat on the back once in a while. Or twice in a while. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK EVERYONE! Friday is beer night can't wait! Everyone should toast eachother 1 night at the same time. |

I wish I had before and after. You look great. Your face actually changed not just thinned. You are a lovely lady. Glad you talked to your hubby. Military life must be tough. I respect all of you. My friends husband is returning from Kuwait next week. He just hit the states and she is only now starting to fully realize he is coming home. 1 year exactly, she is scared too. for 1year it has been just her and the kids not sure how he fits in now. Scary!!! Exciting!
Vicki- good job, i am in the same place, I am bouncing high and low between 134-138 it took about a week after breaking 140 to break below 138, curious how you make out but i wondered if it had something to do with more muscle less fat, harder to shed. Keep in touch I suspect I am honkering down at 135 for a bit. not seeing a change just up and down .6 or so. Good luck this weekend |

| Erbear- A little late for me to respond but I agree with the group, you can do this and best of luck but you need to up your intake for a few days then go back. You could even up to 1600-2000 for the weekend the back to 1200-1400 for the next week. It would be good motivation to see the scale move too.
I noticed lots of us are under the 140 or getting close now. I am really struggling with how much the losing slowed. Anyone else? I eat a very bal diet,love fruits veggies still eating meat etc. I work out everyday min 30min. ellipt + strength or stretch and feel great but I desperately want to get to a heavy weight of 135, my light weight is now 134.4 but by the end of day I am closer to 137.6. My goal for this month was 130?!? I am not giving up, upping my intake this weekend, girl scout sleep in @ a museum with the kids tonight and husb. away all weekend golfing, gotta party with my little girls. Hope come Monday I am losing again. I think I will follow suit and get the girls on a bike trail this weekend. Maybe some Kelly Dr in Philly action. Maybe even a picnic lunch. Anyone on here from the north east? unicat- same situation my mornings are sooo structured by lunch some days it is like I melt down. Doing nothing after 3 kids leave from lunch or play dates etc. seems only fair when the chores are done. I started reading while on the ellipt. and it helped my endurance and now I don't feel like I am owed time later. (I know all guru's say don't, but it has actually made me move 1mph faster, 10min longer duration and lots more calories) I buy big word versions of books due to cateracts but I only read them while working out. Start roller blading when you are alone in the afternoon or bike riding then. Just get out the door even if you walk to the store. Sitting around is deadly even when you deserve it. Wow I can't imagine not liking fruit or veggies. What about using supplements in place of them can you do that? It must be hard to diet when you really don't like that stuff. I am truly blessed. | Chloe-- Hit the internet, check out the rest. menu today. Try to calculate what you want now. I just had the exact same situation drinking and all. The restaurant wasn't a chain but I found the menu and I was even able to find a nutritional value on line for my meal from this restaurant. It was from another sight but I figured it to be close sauces and all. I went for fish for obvious reasons (ate about 3/4 and put my fork down. Even my sister in law who isn't my biggest fan commented that I was the only one who ordered right of a table full of weight watchers. Drink water between drinks to help ease the calories and hunger. I ate an apple about 30 min before we left too. No apps!!!!!!! Skip the bread if you can too. Most of all enjoy the night out by not worrying about your diet. Have a plan. | |||

Teenwolf hope your day goes better I haven't been reading but just grazed through the past couple days sounds rough. Seems these are the times working at home pays off. No office politics or conflicting personalities to add to the stress. Good Luck and Keep your chin up. You should take a page from Vicki only you would have to shut an imaginary door. It would be your private joke and might make the office more bearable some days. I have been working out at home not making it to Curves 6am and I haven't met this week. Elliptical 40min then strength training for 30 just broke the 135 on wed. 134.4. I am stoked. Just had to buy clothes the 12's just wouldn't stay on. I have been borrowing a belt from my neighnor never needed them before, I was in the fitting room with 10's 8's and 6's and the 6's fit. (8's were still better though) I think I was crying alone in the fitting room I was so happy. Went to dinner in the hottest outfit I FELT GREAT! Hoping for under 130 by the end of the month (or close)! Whoever said it recently. Exercise is the answer. It gives you energy and makes you tired enough for a good nights sleep which gives you the strength to deal with the next day and the bozo's you work with. Everyone seems swamped and stressed, Keep up the good work you are great to eachother that will get you through the week. East coast weather is finally breaking and I am looking forward to getting outside for some fun. |

| Just got put on the spot, had to eat our with the family and make the right choices if I am gong to make my goal this week. Or maybe close. Weighed in this am at 136.6 again down from yesterday but same as monday. Went to Don Pablos against my better judgement without any notice so I couldn't look into what to eat. Ordered the white chicken chili (cup)and a salad (side) it was really small but it filled me up and just checked out the calories were 238 plus salad. Can't believe I made the right choice. My hubbie dish was 2000, I think I inhaled some of his calories sitting near him.LOL I wish I could eat like that and still weat a bathing suit. Any other dishes anyone is aware of at that place that would have been safe? Under 300 calories? BTW I took off the strips of chips thought they would kill the calories but they are included in the 238 as garnish according to this sight. | |||

| Don't know if you are still checking the thread, but i too like morning workouts. With 3 kids and working from home going to the gym at 6am is the only choice. The good points are hubby is in bed, nothing can sabotage my time, sick kids, appointments etc. I am up when no one else is. It really jump starts my day off the kids go I shower and I am in the office by 9am hands down. No excuses and no matter how bad the day goes it got done!!!
Good luck everyone especially those who aren't morning people! That must be hard. |

| unicat--Did you ever try following the "Curves" way? Any luck? I am still sticking with it. Hit 136.6 low Monday but high is still 138. My goal for this week was 134 not looking so good now. Just over 15lbs lost but still need more than 10 for my goal.
teenwolf --Congrats just read back and saw your 143! Way to go. We have way to much in common. Malt eggs are my demise this week. Beer is out of the question for the most part lately. Drank on Easter but not much. My Hubby just joined the country club and that will be a problem. Can't hang out at the bar and drink and still make it to my goal of 130 by month end. Vicki- my husband joined me too. 1st he just snooped and nagged but I realized he was contemplating how hard this might be. He has lost 25lbs. since early March, he is so HOT again. 6'2" he was 235 at least when this started now he is around 210. I wish I could lose like that. He works hard at it though. It really helps that he isn't snacking and drinking while I am trying to eat healthy and lose weight. My 3 girls are killing me this week. Spring break all week and cold weather in jersey. What is Mother Nature thinking? 1 sick all week , 1 cranky and 1 bugging because we cancelled our NYC trip due to the sick one. EEEKKKK! I need some candy! Better get back to work. Working for your husband can be nice when you think about it. Have a great hump day hope the 2nd 1/2 of the week brings smaller numbers for all. |

| I have the worst headache today I am swearing off the malt eggs. They have to be the reason. I don't usually eat the candy. How good is it going to feel to break the 135? It is consuming me. I just want to know that even at my high point I am below 135. Mid day morning night anytime. Just below the 135. Under 135 means under 10lbs to my goal which seems so far away right now. Long week.
Hope you start losing again. My fingers are crossed, hope you get to enjoy your bunny soon. Are you still calorie counting or were you off for a while? I noticed if I plateau even a few days I eat regul. 1 day no counting but realistic eating then go back to approx. 1200 for 3 days I start losing again, then 1600 per day after that. Give it a try. Yogurt in the am also seems to have some effect on my losing. When I switch to egg beaters or cereal I seem to stop losing for a few days. Seems wierd but I am not cheating so I know when something changes. I am still logging everything. |

| Hey teenwolf how was NYC? Were you here with the good weather or cold?
Good snacks, Apples are helping me through the hunger pangs. I know they are high carb but other than late night I eat them all day long. Popcorn has been driving me crazy too. I just went with plain popcorn no butter, cooked the old fashioned way (on the stove) my kids are loving it. They crack up the whole time I cook it. Imagine what a vinyl record could do for them. Anybody having trouble with the Easter candy their kids got? I can't resist the malt eggs and it is killing my weight loss. I am even counting it in my calories. Still under and not losing. Why are 10 malt eggs (counting as 180 calories) hurting my 1600 calorie intake. I work out 30 elliptical and 30 circuit 6 days per week. Hard work out not easy does it. My goal is 125 but I too will be very happy at 130-135, I am happy now at 136-137. I just donated my whole closet, it felt great! I am hoping to pick up a few things at Kohl's til I get closer to the 130 mark, but I am afraid they will have snow suits out in the next few weeks. Isn't that the retail schedule. I need some cute outfits for summer if I am going to be that small again. I wish it could happen quicker. Getting impatient. |

| I gotta say honesty is the best policy. Why not take her aside explain you are working toward a healthier you not on a diet. Healthier means learning to be able to eat those things you want even though they "go to your butt" and knowing when to stop. How to monitor yourself long term to gradually change habits maybe loose weight and get healthy. Emphasize slowly and long term changes so she isn't looking for daily signs.
My inlaws are returning from vaca this week and I dread it for the same reason. I waited til they left to start and wanted to be closer to my goal before they returned because my mil is relentless. Never mind over weight and struggles every day of her life with it. Even my sil is unbearable. I was 5'2" 36YEARS 152lbs Mom of 3 young girls and my mom , working and they still pushed all the time. I wasn't ready now I am. I am now 142 lbs started 3/2/07 exercise and calorie watching but still eating and having a beer when I want (well not everytime I want) You have to stop it or be miserable like me when they are around. |

| Wow lots of good points. Can you tell I am not a sweet eater just an everything else eater. Maybe I will let my kids make them if nothing else it will be fun and since some of you have tried them and lived to tell me about it.
Good Point about eating sweets anyway, If you like them and crave them finding a way to eat them in a better light makes sense. |

| ishepler I don't think she will be back now!!!! I think you hit the nail on the head and it is so much easier to criticize someone else when things are bad in your own life. I don't think calorie count is the board she should be on.

| I used to get the depo and I never got a period again. 36yrs and haven't had it since i got preg last at 29! stopped the shot over 3yrs ago and nada. Give it time you may have already cycled call your doc they can explain better they have your chart. Hope all works out. Don't get to excited you may not get it but you get all the emotions and bloating that came with it. | |||
