How is everyone doing in their weight goal.

I'm on my week off my major cardio and weight training.

I work extremely hard for 3 weeks then I take 1 week off .
Then I switch up my workout and cardo.

I've just joined a new gym and got a new trainer.

I'm also starting yoga and pilates and a Ab Slam class.
Hopefully by Christmas I will be down to 130. I haven't stepped on the scale lately.

I'm in for this

1. I'm at 140 and my goal is to get back to 133.

2. The highest I've weighed is 148

3. the lowest was 133

4. suggested calorie intake is 1265 that is on Sedentary.

5. My average caloric intake is around 1200. My eating habits are great except for an occasional binge.

6. My body frame is medium

I've been stuck at 140 for ever it seems, I know I have to up my calorie intake on days I exercise, but some times find it hard to do.

Hope we can get each other motivated and share our ideas.

Could someone answer this for me -are you allowed any Dairy on Phase 1 of SB-I've read 2 cups minimium -fat free milk or plain fat free yogurt-then I've also read no Dairy in Phase 1?

Reading these on different web sites regarding SB.

so, if you are trying to shed  fat do intervals  would  best serve you instead of doing a  50 minute run?

I do intervals twice a week, but is it better to do intervals then a regular cardio workout of 60 minutes?

My intervals are running for 15 minutes with the HR at 145 then dropping my HR to 126 and getting my HR at  170 and  holding it for 2 minutes then back down to  126 for 2 minutes and back again at 170 I do this for 5 to 6 intervals.

Weight Loss LA Weight Loss?? Mar 22 2007
20:35 (UTC)
I didn't use the bars or supplements.

I'm just a little frustrated with the program!

I was done to 133 now I'm back up to 140!!!!

I was at a plateau of 135 for 2 months then my programed  changed and the scale went up to 140.

Just a little  bit of frustration.

So I figured if I count my calories, increase them -then maybe my body will kick in again and start loosing. With the LA Program , my calorie intake  has only been between 800 and 900 then subtracting my  activity level  weight train 3 days a week, cardio 3 days a week.

Need some advice????

Thank you for your reply.

I have been calculating my intake of calories for the past week and they have only been 900-minus by activity level.

Daily menu consist of
chicken 10 oz
4 servings of vegetables 1/2 cup cooked or 1 cup raw
2 startches
1 fat
3 fruit

I am going to find it hard to increase my calorie intake as it will seem like a  lot of food. I have noticed people that have increased the calorie intake they have gained a few pounds in the beginning? This is normal? I'm just afraid I will gain back what I have lost with this much food, but from reading the postings it works.

Another question-Why when I was on less then 1000 calories that I lost the weight- But then I platued from December to February-increased my calorie and gained 5 pounds- went back down to 900 and the scale has not moved?????

How long before your body adjust to the changes in calories???
Any suggestions on how to increase my calories in food intake??
