| Hey guys Sorry I'm late on the weigh in. My husband "fixed" or computer so I have'nt had any internet. I'm at 154! A downward spiral I can be happy about. It's my 30th tomorrow and were going out for dinner and drinks tonight so I'm sure I'll sabatoge my self. nikidust-I know what ya mean about the mcd cheeseburgers. I ate a happy meal the other dayand I love the taste of the cheeseburger until I get to the meat. So gross. And then you bite into a bouncy white piece of somthing and ruins it all. eeeewwwww ruins the whole nasty experience! Good luck on all the loss everybody! |

| Woohoo 154 Holy crap it's working!!! I quit drinking for a month and its so easy to stay between 1200-1400 cal. It was nearly impossible when I drink. I even ate 7 tacos :o lastnight and stayed at 1300ish. Keep up the good work party people!!! | |||

| I've been reading a number of articles that have stated any liqued you consume counts toward your 8 10 glasses a day. I'm not arguing the validty of that, Ive just seen that quite a few times. Obviously water is best but crystal light is tasty when you just can't do water anymore. I agree with you jlkrawec-aspartame totally makes me want to binge on sweets. | |||

Has any one ever had a garbage plate?? I drank too much beer lastnight and my friend from out of town had to have a garbage plate at 100am. Alright ready Its 2 burgers or hot dogs (I had a grilled cheeseburger) on top of macaroni salad and french fries...drizzled in this hot meat sauce called GRISTLE SAUCE eeewwww. I ate almost every single bite. It's the most vile disgusting delicious creation ever. And you must be 2 to 3 sheets to the wind to eat it. I don't even dare log it. To scared to see the results. So it's my chicken broth fake eggdrop soup for today. Have a great weekend everyone. |

| TOD- I Love antm even though I loathe and despise Tyra Banks arrghh she makes me wanna through my tv through the window. But it happens to be my #1 guilty must see tv. How bout the tranny and how horrible the other girls are. Just watching that show makes me hungry and I ate ALOT of pretzels and that is def not locarb. | tod- I remember from you previous posts you \were trying to kick the pot habit and had been meaning to ask you about it. I donnnn't smoke too much anymore either will power gpoes straight out the window. I've taken to occasionally at night before bed takinf=g 1 or 2 puffs. then theres not too much time to munch through the house and home.
dina-way to go on the reading. I LOVE to read everything as well but you are way more ambitious then me. Now I never will read little women and have never read Jane Austen.Someday I will i guess. My goals for Sept are turn 30 (eeewww) lose 10lbs or more and kick a$s in college. Not too far reaching. |

| Hey everyone! I hope everyone had a great weekend. I actually did the best I've done in a LOOONG time over eating and drinking wise.I've managed to stay between 1200-1500 all weekend an amazing feat for me. I've relized if you want to drink on the weekends you can't eat really. Which is not a great combo so I'm doing good with portions of food and drinking. I wanted a piece of fudge pie at diiner today so I passed i=on the wine.Never before done by me v.proud. Sounds like everyone is staying pretty much on track. Weekends are so HARD. If I can conquer the weekend binge I should be good. OOh and I start school tommorrow for the first time in 10 yrs so that added stress should help me drop a few lbs. | HI sorry I went MIA last week. Welll I just got back from the dr and I STILL weigh 158lbs. But I just started doing no bread pasta deal so hopefully that will jumpstart my weight loss. Ihave not been as committed as i would like to be I still have bunch of issues I'm workin with. I'm also starting school for the first time in 10 yrs so I'm kinda stressed.Although I'm hoping the college will have a gym I can use. But I have gone on the wagon for the most part so that should help drop some lbs. Everyone sounds like there making great progress. It's very motivating to me so I just have to keep checking in to stay on track. It's amazing how much it does help. Keep up the good work peeps!! My goal for next fri is 155. And I will not let the weekend sabatoge me!! | |||

| Wow I feel lik its been awhile since I've been here. I'm at 157....but (always an excuse) It's ttotm But I was sick for 4 days and did'nt eat very much so I thought I would have dropped a few. Ah well such is life I'll try harder next time. Good luck peeps. BTW did I mention I have to go to flippin BEERFEST tonight stoopid hubby. | Woohoo 156 down 2lbs in 3 weeks without really trying. Imagine the progress I would have if I stuck to my guns and worked out everyday. Does anybody have a really hard time trying to stay at 1200. It's like if you want to eat remotely like a normal person its impossible. Yesterday I ate 5 oz chicken breast for breakfeast. Then I spring (aliitle late but) cleaned my house from 9-6 without stopping just drinking coffee with just cream. For dinner I had slice of whole wheat bread, tuna salad with 1 tbs light mayo, Cambells chicken noodle soup 2 cups mostly broth, And the big killer about 3 oz of chips can't eat soup and sandwich without them it's just not possible! But that brought my total to about 1200. I surely can't eat like that everyday. Todays my daughters 5th bday and I'm taking her too the fair. ARRGGHH carny food and cheap draft beer my downfall. Baby shower tommorrow sure to be filled withhigh fatty food. I love em but sometimes weekends suck. Goodluck everyone. Sorry about the blowhard rant Oh I also started this group saying I was going to walk 4 miles 4 days a week. Well thats not happening. But I did do my elliptical for 15 min yesterday. | I have 1 maltese, 1 chihuahua, 1 shetland sheep dog, all adopted. I also have 1 potbellied pig a turtle and 2 small children. I'm not even an animal lover but I definitly can't resist an animal in need. I just want 1 litttle cat but ofcourse hubbys allergic or so he claims. Needless to say my house is crazy but superisingly not stinky. | |||

| Hi I'm back sorry I missed fri. It was my brothers wedding.and the 3 month annversary of my moms death. So needless to say stress wise last week did not go well. To much food too much booze and stress. I'm to afraid to even step on the scale. I'm feeling a little more motivated this week so I know I'll do better. | It's amazing to me how after only a couple days of eating your recommended cal and excersising even a little motivates you more and more to stay on track. I ate really well yesterday walked a little. I would have walked more but ofcourse the sky opened up and drenched myself and my 2yr old(he ofcourse loved it). I never used to buy into it, but joining this support group really does help to keep you going, and not make you feel like crap when you fall off track. | I made salmon cakes tonight. Cook salmon enough to flake like a can of tuna or use canned salmon. Add 1 beaten egg bread crumbs minced garlic and onion salt pepper make itnto patties pan fry in a little oil until golden brown serve over a green salad with my new obsession. 2 tbs each light mayo sour cream plain yogurt generous squirt of sriracha (depending how spicey you like it). Serve on top of salmon cake. I recipe analyzed it and 2 decent size cakes are 250ish each so flippen good! | |||

| I feel ya on the pot thing. It is addicting more mentally though which can manifest itself physically, too me anyways. I used to be a pothead until I had kids. Now I just turn into a paranoid mess. But if you do somthing everyday for years how cant here not be any physical withdrawls?? Good luck on the quitting. It's probably going to be hard but you can do it. But on to dinner I'm making salmon burgers and my quinoa salad. It has yogurt cucs tomatos onion and lemon juice. Its soooo good. And my mayo sriracha is really good on the salmon burgers. light mao ofcourse. | |||

| I have a love hate relationship with weekends. I do so well then the weekend comes around. Too much food and booze. And I always end it on sunday witha bang. I had my mother in laws cheesy fatty lasagna, then for a snack later that night my husband made fried plantains with my yummy siracha mayo sauce, wait not done yet, a bag of microwave popcorn, and an apple, not to mention my considerable weight in rum and diet cokes on sat. Arrgghh I have noo self control on the weekends. It's so frustrating. Oh well Happy Monday and good luck everyone!! | |||

| Good morning. I've been having a really rough couple weeks getting on track with my eating, and aside from the tempura zuchinni I had yesterday this week is shaping up to be a decent one. I'm starting school on sept 2nd and after being a stay at home mom on and off for 5 yrs I think it's going to be good for me. I feel like if I'm busy all day I obviously won't be sitting home stuffing my gullet. And I'm going to take some sort of pe class pilates or yoga I can't wait!! susiecue you are absolutly not the only one who has a hard time with aerobics. Especially when they add arm moves I feel like the biggest klutz. Well Im off to crank My new Madonna cd clean my house and dance my a$$ off. Burn sone fatty fat. | If I'm making chicken nuggets for dinner I add alot of wheatgerm toasted to the whole wheat bread **** and bread my chix breast and bake its really good. I also toast whole flax seed and sprinkle on my salads nutty and yumm. | |||
