Hey guys. Sorry I'm late posting. I am at 256.8 today. That is down from last week so things are moving in the right direction again. Yeah. Kerry and Aimee thank you so much for your kind words. It has been hard but I am going much better now. Kerry...congrats on the 3 lbs!!!

| Good Morning, Weighing in at 258 this morning. Actually not as bad as I had thought with all that was going on. I am not going to let myself continue in this direction though, I still might be able to hit my goal of 250 by Christmas, we will have to see. | |||

Hey guys. I know it has been a while since I posted...I have gained back some weight over the Holiday. I had to put my dog, Casey, down on Thanksgiving and that sent me into quite a binge session. I know it was counter-productive, but I was hurting. I am starting to feel somewhat better today..(had to go back to work, not much choice in the matter). I will weigh in on Wednesday. I'm sure it won't be pretty. |

| It does sound alot like the symptoms I had when I had to have my gallbladder out. The stomach pains were so severe I would curl up in a ball and just scream it hurt so bad. I also had alot of vomiting but my doc said that is not as common as the other symptoms. Definately get checked out and let us know what the doc says. | |||

255 again. I guess you can say I am consistent! I did measure my waist and am down at least 1 inch there in the last month, so I guess something is shifting, but I find it hard to believe I have gained muscle like everyone keeps telling me. I did walk 20 miles last week, so I am proud of that. I got a blister on my foot and have had to take a few days off, but that is probably a good thing. I think I got carried away Well, I hope everyone is doing well and looking forward to the holidays. I definitely am! |

I find the recipe analyser is just a good tool for complicated meals. If you look at each food item you put in the analyser it will give you the breakdown of calories, fat, carbs etc. Hardly ever does it actually match what is on my food label. For example...I made chili yesterday and threw that into the analyser. For my chili sauce it said 1580 mg sodium for the chili sauce. When I looked at the bottle it only had 980 for the entire bottle. So I would say it is just a tool to give you an approximate calorie and nutrition count. If you want more accurate count enter each item separately. |

OH Mabear don't sweat it, at least you have an excuse for weight gain. I on the other hand have not excuse, but I am up 1 lb this week, I can't seem to get the scale to budge. I am ready to throw it out the window. 256 this week. D*&$ Fr$%kin Plateau!!!!!!! |

Congrats Kerry. That is awesome. And I know your right....a plateau is to be expected, just very unwanted. So I keep telling myself that the other benefits of eating right and exercise are just as important, if not more important, than the weight loss, so I have to keep at it. I have been eating more calories lately...around 1600-1700 each day as an average. But I started to stall, so I dropped back down to 1300 and am still stalling, so I am going back up to 1600. No need to eat less and stay the same if I can eat more and stay the same. I think exercise will be the key here. Back to the grind!

| I called my gyn and they refered me to my pharmacist. So I called the pharmacist and he said the prednisone should not have an effect on the effectiveness of my birthcontrol medicine, but the bc pill does have an effect on how well the prednisone breaks down in my body. Probably the reason I had to take 2 packs of the meds to clear my poison ivy up. | |||

| Oh great!! Well I am not taking the prednasone anymore. I haven't in about 10 days, and if I did get pregnant during that time I am not far along. My period should come on Monday. I guess I was just wondering if it effected the pill. I will call and ask my doctor today. Thanks for the feedback. | |||

mabear, that is wonderful news. Congratulations!!!!!!! The weight is probably from the baby. Just eat healthy, but enough, food and drink lots of water, your body and new baby will thank you for it.
Again....CONGRATULATIONS!!! On a much sadder note. I think I have hit my first plateau. It doesn't seem to matter what I do I am not losing. I guess it had to happen eventually. I have only lost 1.5 lbs during the month of October, and if I went by my scale this morning I have lost nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GRRRRR. I am doing everything right and exercising again, so I have no idea. So I am weighing in at 255 AGAIN |

YEAH KERRY!!! 85 minutes of Cardio...WOW...I bow down. I am lucky to get in 60, cause most times I only do 30!! Congratulations!! An easy way to find us is to click on community, then people...it brings up your own profile, scroll to the bottom and you will see the recent threads you have posted to.....Voila! I got tired of looking thru 10+ pages to find it, and lucked on that one day!!
