| Yes, I am taking alli - so far, so good. I tried xenical years ago and learned the hard way that you MUST watch your fat intake. This time I am taking it in conjunction with Weight Watchers. I believe it will keep me honest! Found myself cheating more and more on WW and think that alli has gotten me back on track. Have lost 30 on WW since 11/06 and am hoping that alli will kick start my weight loss again. | |||

| I recently spoke with my friend who has lost 30 pounds since November of 2006. While I am thrilled for her, I am a little jealous because I am only down 26. I am a good 20 lbs heavier than her to start with. We are both in our early 40's. Don't consider myself competitive, but that hit a nerve because I am doing Weight Watchers and she is going it alone. Her secret? Working out 7 days a week. Since I learned that, I have been exercising more - doing the treadmill for an hour 4 days per week. My birthday was this past weekend and I had planning on cheating with nice dinners out and Popeye's fried chicken. Not only did I not cheat, but I did the treadmill both Sat. & Sun. My point? It's hard to stay motivated and everyone has their own reasons and inspirations. I told my friend, "It's on"!!! A little competition may be just what I need. | |||

| Thanks for the encouraging words. I know that to lose weight takes a lot of work - healthy eating, exercise, determination and morivation. Even though I know these things, sometimes it really helps to hear others cheer you on. Losing weight is a lot of mind over matter. | |||

| Thanks - I really needed that. I am really struggling today to "be good". I am 41 years old and have always been fat, although, sometimes, just heavy. I joined WW in Nov. of 2006 at an all time high of 262. I currently weight 239. I am please with the results, but it has been so slow. Guess that's due to being on the other side of 40. I read your posting and feel rejuvenated. Staying motivated is the hardest part. Seems like we sacrafice and suffer only to lose a pound a week? I have to remember that those pounds per week add up, and it will be worth it. | |||
