So good to hear that!  I'm not totally crazy.  Even though I have been doing all the right things, I only lost 1 pound this month.  And tomorrow it may be gone!!

Found an awesome bood about this....The Thyroid Diet by Mary J Shomon.

I've been asking this question in multiple forums and still have received NO response......frustrating as the burn meter makes no sense to me either.  It doesn't seem to equal the total number of calories burned with exercise or the total goal of calories.....HELP

Screwing with your hormones is definitely NOT a good idea.  Don't do it. You may regret it someday.  How tall are you?  I was always extremely thin, tried to gain weight and never could until my hormones got messed up.  Now a constant struggle.  DON'T DO IT!!  Keep trying to improve your diet and maybe add some protein powder to your diet......

Hey, no matter what any doctor tells you......hormones can make you gain weight.  You aren't crazy.

Thanks for the info....it is just so discouraging to try and see NOTHING happen!  Yes, I am exercising now at least 5 days/week.  I think I've become obsessed with carbs to the point I worry everytime I eat them.  Need to focus on the calories and a balanced diet and be patient!

Wow, that describes me exactly....be careful...I stopped getting on the scale at 146 where I stalled in size 10 and feeling pretty good....what do you know....I gained 10 pounds back before I new it!  Now going for 140 again, but will never give up the scale again.  It is a great way to keep on track.  Plus, with clothes that stretch it is too easy to gain and not even know what happened!!

Goal weight is so hard!!  I go by my pant size too!  I'm 5'8" and small framed.  My goal is 140 to 144 and a comfortable size 10 pants!!
