ive not experienced this myself but a friend of mine whose just lost 2 stone with WW says shes noticed that a few of her workmates no longer speak to her!! i find it very strange that people can do this because of someones weight loss :s

p.s HK, just looked at your profile and you are handsome ;) you've done soooo well with your weightloss too, congrats!!!

just be yourself!! if they dont like you its their lookout. you dont have to eat every little thing they put infront of you for fear of them turning their noses up at you.

or, you could have everything but eat it in moderation and after only eating half of it say it was delicious but you're too full to carry on. that way you'll only be taking in half of the calories . then when you go home, eat as normal and go on a few walks.

hiya, i too am in the same boat. im a terrible emotional eater and drinker, head straight for the bad foods and bottle of wine whenever im down or angry etc.

not figured out how to control it just yet but when i do, i'll pass it on. just wanted to say you're not alone, we will get through it hon :)

i have an mp3 player but most of the time i forget to charge it lol so instead i think of how i'll look and feel in my smaller clothes and that usually spurs me on to push myself harder.

i got myself a tatoo yesterday as a reward for losing weight, but some people might not want to go to that extreme.

how about manicures, pedicures, massages new hair cut?

anything but chocolate and other naughty treats!!!

put a little money away each week, maybe a couple of pounds/dollars and see how much you've got when you reach your specific goal.

my next treat will be a new hair do and im going to have my eybrows waxed and dyed. then for the goal after that im having another tatoo but dont tell my other half lol, ssshhh ;)

we have a 5yr old staffordshire bull terrier called misty!! shes a mad as a box of frogs and is very clumsy, she runs full pelt down the stairs and runs straight into the front door!!!

shes sooo pretty but a bit whiffy lol. my teenage son and her are inseperable, she even sleeps in his bed and follows him about everywhere bless.

awww hon, my heart goes out to you ((((( hugs ))))).

how about writing him a letter explaining why you went off on one and telling him how very sorry you are for what you did and accept full responsibility for your actions?

tell him you understand his concerns and you're willing to give him all the space he wants to make a decision.

its going to be hard but you must give him the space he needs to sort his head out.

in the meantime i think you might need to think about why you dont like this girl and how you can maybe come to some way of tolerating one another more. is jealousy a problem for you do you think? you might need to try and control that a bit too hon.

i hope things work out for you and your man hon, good luck xxx

ouu yes! good idea, when its healed a bit ill get alan ( my fella ) to take a pic and put it on the pc for me - im useless at that sort of thing :s

any tips for helping it to heal quicker? plus its very sore!! :(

i'll deffinatly be starting a journal tomorrow, cant promise it'll be interesting though lol but i'll try. plus i think it will be good to note the highs and lows of life in general let alone weight loss.

thanks for the advice both of you :)

i think rather than depriving myself i'll just take from fresh the next day ( like today! ) and carry on.

i am such an emotional eater, infact i run straight for the takeaway menus as soon as something goes wrong or have had a bad day, i'll have to start training myself not to do this but have no idea where to start ?

good for you mrs r!! i think thats the right attitude to have, dont look at it as a diet but more of a lifestyle change.

im doing it for health reasons, at my biggest i was just a wreck, looked and felt awful, no way i want to feel like that again plus i smoked too so i quit that aswell and now feel soooooo much better and full of life!!!!

my highest weight was 200lbs. i couldnt breathe properly, sweated buckets and felt unwell all of the tme. enough was enough and i decided to do something about it. its taken me a while but im slowly getting there :)
