BTW - wanted to apologize for my last post... it "sounded" much worse than I meant it to. I was just concerned because my times have never changed since my first post early in the month and I've seen others get updated since then. No biggie - it's just easier for me to keep track that way. Thanks to all of those who volunteer to do this - we all appreciate it - even when we accidentally sound ungrateful!!!! |

| Hey all! Sorry I haven't posted in so long. It's been crazy around here, but I have been reading the posts at least. It seems like every time I get to sit down and read through the posts to catch up, then I start to type a post and the baby wakes up, the phone rings, etc!
KT- mmmmmm, Chevy's! I used to live on the west coast and I haven't eaten their food for years! They don't have them here in the midwest. The best mexican ever! On another note, reading your posts about going out with friends reminded me of one thing that helped me lose weight when I was in my early twenties (I'm now nearly 30 :P), was when my friends and I would go out we would always try to go dancing. It would be 3-4 hours of great exercise and I wasn't eating! Granted, I'd be drinking, but I burned off those Miller Lites pretty quick! I'd love to go do it now, (for the workout) but now I can't stay up past 9! Ginny - I just read the Secret about a month ago and I agree with you fully. I never thought about it, but you do have a point! Congrats to all of those who have lost! I was getting disappointed by how much my weight kept fluctuating, but once I realized how the "trend" weight line on the weight chart worked, I realized that I'm not the only one who goes nuts with water weight. I am proud to report that after the waterweight and TOTM craziness, I am back down to where I was and have lost 1 more pound, getting me to 219. It feels so good to finally break past 220! Here's looking forward to 209! |

| kt - glad that I'm not the only one who likes to have pancakes for dinner every now and again. My hubby's also known to make waffles in the evening too! Thanks for bringing up a weight loss goal for April - it made me think! I need to be challenged by a goal! I'll say my goal for April will be 8 pounds.
staben - Welcome! I'm sure you'll have no trouble getting below 200 by Christmas - you'll probably be past that by then! OMG - toddler twins - that is a workout in itself! What a blessing! This is a great support group and this site is sooooo helpful. I had a naughty night last night and decided that I need to ban myself from wine altogether! I think it's bad because once I open the bottle, I feel wasteful corking it after one glass because I may not be able to drink the rest before it's not good any more. So I have two glasses. Then my decision making is shot and I eat more. Then after I eat more I'll have another glass of wine an hour or so later. Bleckkkhhhh. Granted, it's not like I'm eating a whole bunch of unhealthy stuff (because I've gotten rid of most of it), but it's shooting my calories WAY out of whack. So no more wine! I'm going to limit myself to one beer with dinner if I feel like it, but after that one I need to have a Zero or water, but no more beer. There, I said it and now I have to stick to it! |
