At 232.5 - I've been plateaued but I know I have some inches gone!  :)  I won't be able to weigh in next week - I'm out of town.  But I'll keep it 'til the following week.  Have a Merry Christmas everyone!

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!  I didn't post my weigh-in for last week, but it was 232.5.  Of course, I'm up a pound and a half from the weekend....  :)  Darn turkey!

Nope...I checked in, too!  :)  And of course, since today's NOT weigh-in, I am down two pounds...doesn't that figure??  :)

I'm going to be doing that this weekend - it's my dad's b-day and he wants me to take him to Outback.  So, I'm going to split an entree with my hubby, but that bloomin' onion is going to get me, I just know it!  :)

Hi all!  I'm glad to see we're getting back into the swing of things!  I missed you guys - and with the holidays coming up I know we'll all be extra busy.

I'm weighing in at 236 today.  Down 2!  Yay!  I've been riding my bike and doing upper body strength/toning exercises.  I'm trying to cut back on what I'm eating and go back to counting calories but it's just SO HARD after being off it for a couple of months.

Bonnie - I think all of your hard work is excellent!  Yay for your community to have someone like you!

Kim - my sincere condolences.  I lost my grandmother when I was 11.

Kerry - YAY! You're back!!  :)  That's all I need to say.

Mabear - how's pregnancy treating you?

Happy Halloween everyone!  Up to 238 this week.  I had been 239, so at least I lost 1 by weigh-in day!  :)  I'm *finally* back on the horse...wish me luck that I can stay on again!

237...I gained half a pound - but I believe it is because I've started exercising again!  :)  I finally got my recumbent bike this past weekend and have been on it faithfully for 20 minutes every night.  I can't believe how out of shape I got...  :)  I'm going to try bumping up to 30 minutes next week...

I'm in at 234.5 AGAIN - but actually it's TTOM week, so maybe I'm actually down 1 or 2 after the water weight comes off...  :)

Still at 234.5 - at least I haven't gained any more...

I should get my recumbent bike next week, so hopefully, that will jolt me into exercise life again...  :)

I'm glad to hear eveyone is doing well - the pressures of life are tough, aren't they?  Just keep plugging everyone!  We can do it!

Kelly - I'm so sorry - I hear having poison ivy really sucks.  Kerry's right - the prednisone high will wear off once you stop taking it.  I'm also sorry that you can't exercise...I feel your pain there!  :)

Kerry - Ewww...fluid retention.  I did that this week, too, with TTOM.  I hope your back feels better soon.

I'm here...alive anyway.  I'm shopping for a recumbent bike right now.  I haven't been doing step - I'm just lazy.  So, I've lost some of the weight I gained this past week but not that much...  :(  I have no motivation right now.  I'm hoping that buying the bike will spark some in the "I have a new toy to play with" way.  Now I just have to convince my hubby.  :)

Well, ladies - I am in the throes of the worst TTOM that I have had since I started losing weight.  Last night, my ankles and feet were swelled up so big, even my husband noticed.  So, you know it had to be bad if a MAN noticed!  :)

So, I stepped on the scale and shuddered - 233 - up FOUR pounds (at least).  :(

Oh, here's a good one for you.  I have callouses on my big toes (I know, gross) and one of them started hurting REALLY badly a couple of weeks ago.  Like I couldn't walk on it bad.  So, I went to the pod - and there's a BLISTER under the callous.  Weird, huh?!  So, I went to the family doctor later on for a regular check-up and told him about it and he told me that athletes get those regularly...I just looked at him and said - well, I'm OBVIOUSLY no athlete, so why is it happening to me?  Turns out that all that fun step aerobics that I was doing caused the blister.  So now, I can only do step 2-3 times a week and I have to find something else to do on the other days (and not tae-bo or walking, I have to stay off the toes, you know).  My husband was thrilled - that means that we either have to join a gym or buy an elliptical or stationary bike.  Fun, huh?!  Why is it that when I have a good thing going that something beats me back down?  So, I haven't been able to do ANY exercise for the last three weeks because the blister's been healing...but anyway...

Kelly - I'm so glad that people are noticing!  Yay for you!  :)

Sorry I've been out of touch.  Our best friends moved to Florida this weekend and I drove down with them to help spell them with driving.  It's been hard explaining to our 4 yo why his best friend isn't coming back to school.  So, pretty much a sucky weekend.

Kim - how did your dad's surgery go?

I was SO good at the buffet!  I budgeted out a ton of calories for this Oreo cookies and cream smoothie - and I drank it first with my salad.  So, by the time we got to go down to the buffet, I was full!  So, I had a roll and a couple of bites of veggies.  :)  Not nutritious at all, really, but OH SO GOOD!  :)  And I didn't need a snack before bed either.

I'm down 3.5 pounds as of this morning - but we'll see come tomorrow.  I've noticed that my body is two days behind.  Today, my weight is based on what I ate on Sunday.  Tomorrow, Monday's calories will hit.  I ate pretty well yesterday...who knows, though?

Kelly - I'm glad you had a great time and enjoyed your pizza and crazy bread thoroughly!  :)

Kerry - YAY!  3 more pounds gone!  You go!  :)

Well, back to work.  Happy day before weigh-in!

Have a great time, Kelly!  I'm going to a dinner theatre tonight with a buffet (ugh) to see a production of the "Wizard of Oz".  Should be a great time!  :)  I've saved up most of my calories for the day so that I can eat some bread and a dash of ice cream.  Wish me luck!  :)

My best friend's 4-year old son told me, "my mommy said that you're fat".  She was trying to teach him how to describe the people he was with, so that if he gets lost he can tell someone what she looks like (besides a "girl").  But still!  :)

Congratulations everyone! 

Yay Kelly!  100 lbs!  What a milestone!  :)  You are an inspiration!

I'm at 231.5 (+0.5) for the week but still down 4.5 for the month...I'll take it!  :)

I went to an outdoor concert Monday night and I think I dehydrated myself because all day Tuesday my ankles were swollen.  I drank a TON of water - but I think my body just wanted to hang on to it's stores.  :(  So sad for me!!

Oh well, back to work.  I hope everyone has a fantastic day today!
