| The other day I went to bed without eating supper because I was totally ticked off at my boyfriend (yes, when I'm upset I don't eat). The next day, OH MY GOSH, (actually it was yesterday), I was soooo hungry and couldn't figure out why! The only conclusion that I could come up with was that I skipped a meal and my body got mad at me :-/ So I will be sure NOT to do that again! | |||

| Your body may be off but that doesn't mean that there's any permenant damage. Please remember muscle weighs more that fat and from your weight, you sound like you are at a healthy weight now. Make sure you eat enough food for your body to burn when exercising or it will go into starvation mode and want to hang on to everything you eat. As one of the girls told me, your metabolism is like a furnace and to keep a furnace going, it needs coal every few hours. That is exactly what your body needs, consistent care. I hope this helps a little :) | |||

Do you like steamed mussels? That's what I normally get. Everything else is full of EVERYTHING!!! They are on the appetizer menu. But to be honest. I avoid that restaurant all together because it spells doom for me. The breadsticks! The most fattening salad! The creamy yummy alfredo sauces!!! Ahhh! I can't take it! |

Hey! I just started the Firm videos today! I did my first work out just a few minutes ago and loved it! I highly recommend it. It was my favorite christmas present next to the recumbant bike I got. :) (I asked for both) I won't go to a gym because I got really sick a couple of years ago from some weird bacteria that was at the gym. Not that they are all like that. I like Denise Austin too but don't have any of her videos and can never catch her at a decent hour on tv. Good luck! |

Stevia is good and so is Agave nectar. They are natural sweetners and don't spike your blood sugar (which I believe encourages your body to crave sweets). However, I must admit, I just bought a huge bag of Splenda last night at the grocery store.....I'm going to return it. I had a weak moment and decided to cave in but today I am strong again! I have used Agave in the past and I absolutely love it but it's more on the pricey side. I read a book called "skinny bitch" and it talks allot about the poisons in artificial sweetners and also references the information obtained to back it up. (not advocating the book what so ever but found it very informative; they are super huge Vegans which I am not) I do also notice that when I drink a Diet Coke, I crave sweets. And when I drink Chrystal Light. The common factor in both of those is Aspartame. Yikes.... But hey, to each his own. |

| I ate a half of a Florida Avocado last night and half this am for breakfast. I absolutely love them just sprinkled with sea salt and pepper and eat them right out of the skin! I know they are high in "good" fats but I don't know what the limit of "good" fats is for daily intake. | |||

maybe try to read up on some information regarding low self esteem. I am the queen of low self esteem all though I deny it half the time but when I cut to the chase that's the root of my problems. Losing your mom may have given you some abandonment issues as well and you may be taking it out on the person that loves you most. Talking to a professional wouldn't hurt either, it's very refreshing to hear that #1 you get an unbiased professional opinion and #2 that there is a bright light at the end of our esteem troubles. Good luck! |

The way I look at it, crawfish, the season's only twice a year and I'll eat them. The worst they are is high in sodium, it's what we dip them in that's awful. I splurge on them because I don't eat them as much as I would like to so when I do, I enjoy! |

Hi Ribear, The first thing is don't be ashamed of your anxiety. I have had it on and off since the second grade believe it or not! I'm 31 now :) I started so young not wanting to leave the house and the same situation as yours but it was not wanting to go to school. It was awful but I got through it with help of a psychologist. Therapy is nothing to be ashamed of and will help you sooo much. Since we are women, our hormones are constantly changing and this may cycle in and out from a couple of years having it to a few years not having it and vice versa. And the world we live in today? Having anxiety is pretty much normal, there's more people that have it than don't :) And making mistakes is just the way we learn. Everybody makes mistakes, no one is perfect! Try to enjoy your new job and take deep breaths and think happy thoughts! Think about your paycheck! I hope you have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! |

However, I have a curves less than two blocks from my house and it seems as though you get allot less for your money compared to other places. |

| Foods | too much green tea can cause constipation! | Dec 10 2007 21:07 (UTC) |
|
Hello! In the morning I have permenantly switched to eating 1 cup of Kellogs All -Bran cereal with extra fiber with 3/4 cup of light soy milk. That is 26 grams of fiber to start off your day. Plus just make sure to drink plenty of water. You could start out with 1/2 cereal and then later on move up to 1 cup. Maybe that can balance you out a bit. Being constipated that much can end up obstructing your bowls and can lead to lots of other problems (as if constipation isn't enough!!) Also, I add some brown sugar to give it some sweetness and I use the light Vanilla soy milk. Good luck! |

Well my caloric intake is 1200-1300 per day. That's why I'm stumped. And as far as the poops (Yep, I've got a sense of humor :) I eat no less than 30 grams of fiber a day. My little calculator tells me to eat that little because I am sedentary. I sit on my pooper all dad gum day at work. I've actually considered getting another job just so I can move around a bit during the day. |

Haley, I think you've done great!!! Clearly what you are doing is working. You have shown nothing but dedication! I don't think you should "let go" unless you feel like it is actually hindering your goals. But from what I've read on the weight and inches lost you're doing a great job! |
