Hello everybody,

Shopping therapy would be, will be great once I can slim down enough to fit the clothes on the rail.  I live in Scotland and you really struggle to get the larger sizes and then they dont really adapt the styles for us larger ladies.  Crop tops in a size 24 are scary FOR EVERYBODY!

You look like a different person, you have every right to jump up and down and do a little jig as well if you like. I was feeling a little fed up as i just had another wasted shopping trip but I now feel motivated to push on. What choice do I have a year from now I could be slimmer or I could be even bigger and more depressed.  Thanks for the lift.

Hi, Shane

I know you will miss your friend but Scotland is a great place to live and I am sure you will be able to visit.  26 years is longer than most marriages though.  Is she looking forward to the move or dreading it.  Do you know which part of Scotland she is moving to. I live in rural Perthshire which is really beautiful!

Does anybody know whether i need to count the calories from veg.  I was on WW once and I think they were classed there as free foods.  at the moment i am counting 1250 cals. a day but not including veg.

Thankyou vklamorick and piesh for adding me to your friends list and for directing me to this site.  You all sound such fun and really friendly and supportive.  I so need a lifeline to the outside world as my weight has made me a virtual hermit in my own home.

Yesterday was my first day calorie counting and it went well although I am so choked with a cold just now I didn't really feel like overeating as I slept away most of the day.

My name is Elaine and a big hello to everybody, I have 60lbs to lose before I will have to leave you so i should get to know a few of you very well.

Am i the only Brit. who has found this site?

We are in the process of renovating our apartment in readiness for getting married in July and adding another 3 hungry mouths to feed.  I am looking forward to the additions but I feel the pressure of dealing with the workmen and managing the budget so this will be a great place to vent instead of heading to the fridge which is my usual venue for solace.

I am actually excited about loosing weight, wow, thankyou to all of you.
